  Hi, I'm going crazy for 2 hours now trying to install a font of Disney on this new laptop computer. I've done a million times on my plu top desktop which has XP and I think IE7 or 8, it is IE 8, I think, but it's VISTA.  If anyone can help please PLEASE PLEASE me I would appreciate it a lot.  I am not a beginner and I usually can understand most of the things for me but just will not give me answers, much less that he always says how busy, they are "real clients", which apparently, I'm not?  Nice.   I recently download a new font OTF (Puritan) on my computer laptop (Windows 7, 64-bit) and I am able to select it in Word (2010) and WordPad, but when I start typing spaces are empty.

  It seems in good condition in Excel.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the police from a variety of websites and I do not think the corrupt police especially since this font has been downloaded by so many people.

  Does anyone have ideas/advice?

• Installed fonts not recognized by software CS

  I have a number of PostScript fonts installed in my Windows 7 computer. All of them are accessible via Word, Wordpad, and other programs. However, No of my Adobe programs recognize all - this includes InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (Creative Suite) and Photoshop 5.5.

  These aren't exotic fonts. In fact, Adobe graphics programs recognize certain fonts weird that I will probably never use including the Mandarin, Korean, Arabic, etc..

  What must I do to get the Adobe software to recognise all my installed fonts?

  PostScript fonts, we will assume you really mean the Type 1 fonts (TrueType and OpenType fonts are all as much of PostScript fonts are Type 1 fonts).

  You do not indicate if you run Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit operating system, but there were problems with some very old versions of Adobe applications (probably earlier than 5 CS) in Type 1 installed on Windows 7 64-bit fonts are not recognized. This problem has been resolved in later versions of Adobe applications.

  The workaround is to copy the fonts Type 1, the .pfm files to directories of private fonts used by Adobe applications, how they are recognized by the applications and the .pfb . Obviously, the upgrade to the latest version of applications solves the problem.

  It's not how you install fonts.

  You need to install fonts in windows. Photoshop uses fonts from windows.

  1. In Windows XP, choose Start > Control Panel
  2. Double-click the file fonts.
  3. Choose file > install new font.
  4. Locate the fonts you want to install.
  5. Select the fonts to install. To select more than one font, hold down the CTRL key and click each font.
  6. To copy fonts in the Fonts folder, make sure that the checkbox copy in the Fonts folder fonts is selected.
  7. Click OK to install the fonts.

• InDesign CS5 to crash on launch due to problem of fonts auto-activateur

  I had a problem where all the work I had been collecting would be more open in InDesign CS5 without crashing on startup. Just found out today that this has to do with the new feature in CS5 that reads fonts in your folder 'Document '. Once I renamed the folder files started opening up again. Is there a way to disable this feature in InDesign, or someone else has found another solution that does not involve renaming the folder on every job that I collect?

  On the one hand you KNOW have two fonts with the same name but different types will cause a problem, but however ID will want to activate a font of this file, if it does not find the same police already active. When released, T1 fonts were not supported by the installed fonts in the Document, but I think it was one of the things added in 7.0.2 then maybe that wasn't such a good idea after all.

  I have a multilingual software. It works on xp and vista. In some computer when I installed windows fonts shows good fonts. It even shows in adobe photoshop and other applications. but only in pagemaker is version 7 fonts or 6.5 do not appear in this application. I tried to reinstall the pagemaker freshly, still the same problem. What is the cause? the computer has already installed hundreds of fonts, but only new installed fonts are not displayed.  Please guide what to do?

  Uninstall some of these fonts, pagemaker can't handle hundreds of fonts. A better idea would be to get a font management program and use it to activate only the fonts you need for a particular project.

  Running Win XP Media Center Edition.  Had minor graphical problems at the top of the IE bar periodically endangered.  Decided to remove the Intel (r) 82945G Express Chipset adapter in Device Manager and then do a scan for new hardware.  And now I get the message of the new hardware detected that says.

  There was a problem installing this hardware:

  An error occurred during the installation of the device

  Access is denied.

  I am connected to the computer as an administrator.  I tried to install this even in safe mode and get the same error above.  Any clues on what do I do?  The computer runs only in VGA mode.

  I have a library of vast and varied fonts on my laptop Windows and there is a particular model that I created for a do list that I would use via Microsoft word, which is installed as part of my package of office on my iPad. I use some very creative fonts which I appreciate for this model and I would like to know how I can install all or part of my fonts for my library of fonts on my windows to my iPad which is running iOS 9.3. I already have a separate folder where I keep copies of the fonts stored as a file for emergency backup in my dropbox so I can access easily to install I have just do not know how to install them on my iPad. does anyone know how to do this?  some of the fonts or what you call fonts true type and some of them are post scripted fonts where this is important.

  You can't install fonts.  This isn't a feature of iOS.

  I have a new machine, just a day old, and I'm having a problem with fonts.  The file Explorer, Edge and other similar programs seem to go from a very readable font that lights up in half a second or less whenever I move down on the page in these applications.  Police that results is much more difficult for me to read because of the lightness that results. I have not met this problem before.  Frankly, I don't know the source of the problem.  Is it hardware (video card) or (Windows 10) operating system software?

  I have a problem installing win xp to Satellite p300-133.
  To resolve this problem, I have tried the solutions:
  switch to ahci mode in bios and incorporating storage drivers compatibility intel to the installation cd xp with nlite, but none of them solved the problem.

  Laptop computer starts from the cd of xp and xp installation says "program Setup inspects your hardware configuration" and then a blank black screen comes.
  After that, the installation does nothing and waits indefinitely.

  Any ideas on this problem? Thank you.

  The two methods are good!
  You can install the Win XP without drivers Intel Storage Manager (SATA drivers) but in this case the SATA mode must be on compatible mode.
  It works for sure!

  The second method is the installation of the SATA drivers with nLite (drivers can be integrated into the new drive Win XP).

  I put t understand why this doesn t work on your laptop. I think it's a problem with your Win XP drive. Contains this Win XP SP2 or SP3?
  If this isn't the case, then you should use nLite to include min the Win XP SP2.

  Since I installed the latest (El Capitan) system and the last Keynote (6.6.1), all the fonts I have installed are more usable in Keynote.

  Keynote displays only system fonts that are put in parallel between OSX and the iOS Version of Keynote - but not the fonts I have installed via our store FontExplorer (a font management tool).

  In other Mac Applications (as in Pages, numbers or even the Texteditor) the respective policies are visible - and I can use them for everything that I need them.

  Is it possible to use individual fonts in the speech-program-the newer versions?
