If you see that the problem is solved by turning off OpenGL, this could be a case where the OpenGL activation again and change a setting of different OpenGL "Advanced" mode may help.

I suggest this because I know that Photoshop color management in many different ways, according to OpenGL capabilities (and possibly the settings, I'm not sure of the part).  Maybe a different mode (for example, 'Basic') will allow you to use OpenGL improvements and always adjust your colors.

In addition, as it is always recommended, make sure you search video drivers updated on the web site of the manufacturer of your video card.

Is this even possible or should I first put to CS6? I'm not wan't the CC version.

  • I'm having a problem with lightroom 5.7.1 running on windows 8 64-bit.

I'm having a problem with lightroom 5.7.1 running on windows 8 64-bit. Whenever we try to open the computer software crashes, we deleted the lock file and reset suggestions as suggested, without success. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the software without success, still the same problem of crash

If all of the computer crashes, it's a hardware malfunction or a bad/corrupt/old video driver.

First install/reinstall the latest driver for your graphics card. If this does not help, then you need run diagnostics on your hard drive, memory and also make sure that the fans are cooling the CPU correctly.

Could be a broken monitor profile. Switch display icc profile Adobe RGB or sRGB standard if you have a normal screen space, if you have a screen wide gamut. If this is useful, it is likely that a broken profile.

In addition, the only way to make sure you see what looks like an impression (on your screen) is to use a unit of calibration as a Culor Munki or Spyder.

  • How to print with no. COLOR MANAGEMENT in Photoshop CS6

    Hello

I tried to print an i1Profiler target so I can read with my i1Pro and create a profile of the printer, but no matter what I do, there is no way to get photoshop to provide a profile when printing. I tried to select printer handles color and then put the printer driver in the MANAGEMENT of OFF COLOR (seemed to me this would disable both the printer color management and color management photosbop). Tried to print this way (and many other ways) but NO SOLUTION - the impressions are VERY different from the on-screen display (which is in a correctly profiled Apple monitor) and they did resemble those with a selected profile.

I also tried the Adobe Color Printer Utility Utility and same results!

I use an EPSON Stylus Pro 7900 I just bought.

    Help, please

The key here is to really actually go ahead and print the target of i1Profiler to your printer... in the graphical Test Panel, create the staff and click on print instead of Save as. As long as you have the size of the page defined in the layout, you should get a target Specifies printer to read. According to the patches how you have defined, this may take a few pages, but they will be correctly formatted for playback with the i1Pro...

  • Help diagnosing problem of color management - windows 7, CS3, Eye - one display 2

    Hello

I had my color management, all set up and working on my old laptop and then stupidly, I got a new laptop and am completely default get things straight.

The new laptop (Asus N56VM with Nvidia GT 630 M) is running Windows 7... I calibrated the screen using my Pantone eye - one display-two (X-Rite) and right now, it's much better to the eye. I calibrate native white point which I always do with laptops.

I used the following procedure to load the profile at the start of Windows 7 and removed the GretagMacbeth tool that tries to do the same thing:

    http://www.laszlopusztai.NET/2009/08/23/stop-losing-display-calibration-with-Windows-7/

Everything looks great except when I try to use anything with color management.

For example. Pictures of my old was gorgeous in Adobe Bridge, until I enabled through its settings color management and all of a sudden they have terrible air - sky blues turn turquoise.

If I open a file labeled sRGB in photoshop it looks the same - terrible (to help keep an embedded profile and with a workspace Adobe 1998 color settings)

Only way I can get images of normal appearance in Photoshop is open then ASSIGN the monitor profile to the image (I know that it is meaningless to do so and is in no way a work around)... and it looks great.

Something isn't right somewhere, but don't know where to start looking because there are so many variables. Can anyone suggest a route to investigate based on what I have said so far?  It's driving me crazy!

I took a quick glance to your profile...  I don't have that much experience analyzing devices of the user profiles, but it seems a little odd for me, compared to others that I watched.  Maybe Chris Cox can comment as I know he has a few more sophisticated profile analysis tools.

Examples: Look where the dye red, green and blue tags fall:

I think that this profile, for some reason, was created correctly or with essentially false information.  I don't know why that would be.

I use Photoshop CC with windows 7. Using the color range tool, after that I have taste Photoshop stop a few times and close the program, Advisor Windows found a problem and they say if there is a solution. I tried many things, and the repeated problem every hour.

    Here is my system info:

  • Photoshop CS5 (under Windows 7) crashes when I try to print

    Hello

I am running 64-bit Photoshop CS5 Extended upgraded to the version current (12.0.4).

When I try to print, every time, I get the following error immediately:

    > Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working

Windows is checking for a solution to the problem

    and then, shortly after

    > Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working

A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Quite exasperating. My printer works fine. I can print pictures itself since Lightroom without problem (which, on this occasion, I had to - saved PS, imported into LR, then print... very effective!).

I see there are other posts on this but they seem to be mainly Mac and also, many seem to heal by opting for 12.0.4.

I am a user relatively light (non-professional amateur enthusiast), so I do not regularly use of PS. However, this also means that it is almost an installation of out-of-the-box, because I do not tinker with it either. There are if long I used it last I don't remember if I had this problem last time - I remember vaguely having sometimes but not others. Seems not important to know if I opened the file is a JPG or a PSD (the only two I've tried).

    Any help out there?

    Thank you

    Alastair

Network printers can be a problem.  Should not be set as the default printer.
