Having a problem with the links on all the games and programs on the computer. Support a link from windows it itself (not from the browser) does nothing. What should I do?

Usually, it is a problem with Internet Explorer. This give a try.

  • Problems installing iTunes on Windows 10 12.3.1.23

    Hello

I had this problem for two weeks, I don't know how to solve, and it would be good to have help.

Two weeks ago, I noticed that after I had plugged my iPhone into my PC 5, only Windows Explorer recognized iTunes didn't.

So I tried to see if there were updates for iTunes, but no update has been published.

I used Windows 10 tools to uninstall it and then tried to install it again.

Before that, I used CCleaner to make sure that no left, files or old registry key remained in Windows.

Then I tried to install iTunes 12.3.1.23 by downloading from the Apple Web site and by opening the Setup program.

Since then, every time, when I try to install iTunes, installation work until it says "Restore action", and a new mask appears, where it is written that there is a problem and that Setup could not install the software.

After trying this for 3 - 4 times, I went to C:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update and tried to run all executable files in this folder, which contains installers for each program, Apple needs to install iTunes on PC separatelly, distinguished by the installation program downloaded by the Apple because one website you can download contains all the facilities of programs in a single installer.

I managed to install all the software, with the exception of the Apple Mobile Device Support (version 9.1.0.6), who, as program controls when a unit Apple is plugged to the PC, and it has not worked since the beginning and is the one who made me do all this, in my view, is the same as the one send me problems during the installation of iTunes when I run the installation program downloaded by the Apple Web site.

Anyone have the same problem and/or know how to fix this problem?

    I have 10 Home Windows (64-bit) version 1511.

    Thank you

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Your library must be affected by these measures but there are also links to the backup and recovery advice it should be necessary.

In some cases with 64-bit systems, you may need to install the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for older video cards) and QuickTime to enable iTunes work with some videos. 32-bit users must install QuickTime.

  • I can't solve this problem: "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\awuvomas.dll the specific module is not found." Can help you!

    Original title: cannot find awuvomas.dll

I can't solve this problem: "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\awuvomas.dll the specific module is not found."  Can help you!

It is sometimes easy to get rid of the error message by doing something like disable the startup item in msconfig (if you can still find), but I suggest you fix the problem and difficulty not only the symptom of the problem by simply deleting the startup message.
I would also not recommend you start digging in the registry to try to find the startup item and remove it unless you have a backup of your system or at least a backup of your registry, because there is no 'Cancel' or 'quit without saving changes' option in regedit.  If you make a mistake, that's all.
These ideas relieve 'rapid' and sometimes risky of the symptom if they not even work at all, but they can't actually solve the problem.  Also, I'd be suspicious of ideas that begin with the words "try."  You don't need to try things, you need to fix things.  You don't need to try ideas that might work, you must do something that will always work all the time.
Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.
There is very little. DLL files that should be loaded from the C:\WINDOWS folder and is not one of them.  If you do not have a good explanation for the name of the file in a Google search, the chances are good that your system is currently or has been infected by malware.
A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.
Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.

You must be sure to solve the problem and not just fix the symptom of the problem by simply relieving your message - system is not a fix (there is a difference).

If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool.  Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration.  Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem.
If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.  The problem can always be found in the registry well.
Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry
. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit.
Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
You can also use the Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding.  Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information.  You are really interested only a few sections.
The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.
Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.
You can also click file, search to search for logon, or any tab for all or part of the name of the element.
Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove.  If you are not sure what it is, you can just turn it off, restart and if the problem is resolved and things are functioning normally and everything works fine, then remove the offending entry.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns shall display the same information however.
Given that your system has or has had an infection, follow up with this:
Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:

No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs at:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

  • Several problems after upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8

Updated for win7 to win 8.   The printer KODAK ESP 3.2 stopped working.   Then, there was a problem with my graphic card Radeon X 1650 SE started giving me problems.   Windows 8 said that the catalyst library program was not compatible with windows 8, and when I tried to update, the update stopped at halfway.

I have not yet activated windows 8 because I could go back to win 7 and if I go even once, I don't want windows to refuse my serial No.   Anyone had similar problems?

    OT: Windows 8

    Hi victor,

When you upgrade printer KODAK ESP 3.2 Windows 7 to Windows 8, you need to update the printer drivers. I suggest you to download and install the drivers from the following link:

For problems with the graphics card Radeon X 1650 SE, I suggest you to download and install the drivers from the following link by selecting the appropriate drop down list model number. http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download

Alternatively, you can try to install the Catalyst Media Center program in compatibility and see if that helps.

  • Open the link of Windows 8 VM in Mountain Lion Safari

    Hello

I have a problem with my vm web links open in my native operating system.

I have setup a Windows 8 VM via Fusion 5 on a device of MountainLion.

Links in windows 8 is always open in its internet explore.

In the settings of the virtual machine, I activated the option to open files Windows with Mac Applications.

    Bildschirmfoto 2012-12-12 um 17.25.38.png

I think the problem are standard applications in windows 8.

If I set the default webbrowser on "Default host Application" it works the VMWareHostOpen.exe twice and it shows an error like window which explanes how to use the .exe (which is the normal behavior if I just run the .exe of my Explorer).

    Unbenannt-1.jpg

    Unbenannt-2.jpg

"Access to the programs and default settings" - window closes and opens again with 'use my current webbrowser. That's why I can't verify that it is set properly on 'by default the host Application'. But still, it opens links in ie.

If I run the VMWareHostOpen.exe with an option to url (like http://www.google.com) it opens the url in my Safari mac.

No idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

(Sorry for the screenshots being German, did not find an option to change the language )

I was having the same problem and found a solution, because it was really frustrating. Relocation of the VMWare Tools has not helped and not by adjusting the settings of VMWare.

In Windows 8, go to control panel > default programs. Click "Set your default programs."

You should then see a list of programs, including a virtual default to the Application host computer. Click it, and then click "Choose default for this program."

You will see that there is a bunch of boxes not ticked in the extensions list. Click the checkboxes of the links you would like to have open by your Mac Web browser (safari, firefox, etc.). Mine works fine for links Web being opened by Outlook on Mac Firefox now.

Then, test - it should work now as before. It's weird that you can not change this in VMWare settings - I guess that it must do more with how Windows 8 is organized. I hope that VMWare updates this parameter with the next update. I hope this helps!
