• Drop-down controls stopped working.

  My drop-down controls suddenly stopped working in the middle of working on a document. I changed my font of portions of the document by selecting the text using the right click command. I noticed that I could always change it by using the tools at the top of the page. Nothing in my command click right and no works does nothing in the drop top as file, editing, layout etc. For example, I can't save or print without using keyboard shortcuts. It lets me select the action, but does nothing. I do not think I would have accidentally hit something because what I was doing is a fairly simple task. Any suggestions?

• Problem with a menu drop-down dynamics based on instances of subform

  I'm having a problem with a dynamic drop down based on instances of subform.  Here's my question:

  Subform1 = value 1 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = Subform1 to 1 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = value 2 to Subform1
  Subform2 = value 3 to Subform1

  Subform1 = value 2 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = Subform1 to 1 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = value 2 to Subform1
  Subform2 = value 3 to Subform1

  I can fill my first run down the 1 subform values by the following:

  For example:

  If the value 2 (Subform1) is selected in the drop down, I want the secodn drop-down is populated with the value 1 (Subform2) and the value 2 (Subform2) and 3 (Subform2) value for 2 value Subform1.

  I appriciate any help I could get on it.

• Multilple TNS file names used in connection network Alias drop-down list

  Directory of names of my TNS network is the last file tnsnames.ora and has also several older versions named "tnsnames.ora. < date >. SQL Developer connections it seems that all of them are read to create the network Alias drop-down list. You can test this by making a copy of your file called tnsnames.ors tnsnames.ora.old1, etc. My guess is that developer SQL is reading "tnsnames.ora*", not "tnsname.ora".
  
  But I'm just a user, not an administrator of DBA. Is this a feature or a bug?
  
  Its also possible that keep the old versions in the TNS names instead of a subfolder file is just bad form and I need to get this behavior changed internally.

  This is a feature. I think I remember guys ask for support for this because some configurations use various files tnsnames.*, but eventually many more users are complaining about this. Sqldev 2.0 will probably be changes in this area, so let's hope that we can finally choose our location manually...

• My window drop-down menu creative cloud (at the top of the menu bar on my Mac) is empty?

  I have not used Lightroom 4 a while and after I clicked on the icon a "?" appears on the icon.  I went to the menu creative cloud on the bar menu, and click on the drop-down window ther was empty (the window where I could install or reinstall Lightroom and other applications).  Don't know how to solve this problem.

• Printed output problem-RH 9 print drop-down text above its parent text. It serves out below!

  Hmmm I found a problem of bad potentionally for our printed output.

  Our documentation project uses many links of menu drop-down (hyper links where the text below the link in the next paragraph). Documentation was written with her expected the text to come out under the text.

  For example, I have this in my HR propject. When I saw, or when I compile in our output HTML Help (chm), it looks like this:

  A string of text Chain of that text a drop-down list appears here Text String B String B drop down text appears here Text of string C String C drop-down text appears here

  However, to the printed output, it produces like this:

  This is my first generate output printed in RH 9. Previously, we were using 7 HR and aroused as planned, with the drop-down list text to come below.

  Is anyone else seeing this? Do you know a setting or something that might be able to solve this problem?

  Ok. I figured out how to fix it. This was happening in HR 7 too now that I think about it. I hope Adobe will solve this problem, because it's pretty hard to do workaround.

  Here's the background on my project and the solution to my problem.

  Background. It is a project to help straight decompiled html (chm) with high hydrostatic pressure. It was initially generated by RoboHelp 7. I am important in RH 9 to try and generated a textbook printed of this help file. So if you want to reproduce this on your end, create a test project in HR 7 with a drop down link or two. To generate a .chm file. Decompile the chm file and create a file with a LOT of HTML or MS Help Workshop hhp. Open the high hydrostatic pressure inside RH 9. Without change or save all the topics in HR immediately try to make printed output. You will see that the output below.

  Workaround. You must open the assigned topic in the WYSIWYG editor and do a simple (such as adding a space and delete), and then save them then the subject. When you generate the printed output, the drop down links put the image below the parent text. The problem is I have thousands of subjects in this project and it takes FOREVER to solve this problem. I had to resort to a macro during the night opens on each topic, makes a minor change and record before printing. I really hope that there is a way better around this in the future.

  Drop-down list box loads the XML code very well. the user can select an item and the appropriate value is submitted to the server without problem. My problem is when I want to "recharge" the form with previous values.

  But I can't work in my ActionScript function, how to set the combo box so that it displays "Auckland" for example, the element with the value = 2. I'll be back this server id, even if I could get the XML code or label if that would help me solve this problem.

  Two things to note. The only problem with the function that has provided ChiefRocka00 is that it is based on the identifier of the data, which means your always limited to have that be the identifier of your value. Personally, I'll be back queries a lot of times where the labelFIeld and dataField aren't labels / data pairs a suggestion would be to add a third parameter and have it checked for this identifier instead of the data. The other thing to note is that it is more common to use selectedIndex instead of selectedItem. If you do not want to do something more like physRegion.selectedIndex = selectCboIndexByData ("physRegion, ' Auckland", label) by using the update function of

• Window drop down bookmarks on the menu bar is missing

  My Favorites are not missing, because I can access it through the sidebar.

  However, I prefer the drop-down list in the Menu bar for my favorites. It is easier for me.

  The Favorites drop-down list box has disappeared and I can't determine how to restore it in the menu bar. The menu bar is always on display and not hidden... just not favourites.

  Any help is appreciated.

  You have the delicious extension installed?

  If so, look at the Options of this extension that hides the Menu bar for bookmarks item.

  Running 32-bit XP Pro - Microsoft Techs after a virus problem, my computer did not recognize one of the 2 discs (CD & DVD/CD Burner) had fixed a problem, but the residue was that no window does not appear after inserting a disc in the drive of CD Play (D).  The window was the choice on what to do to move forward, for example to burn a cd; Open with MS Media Player, etc..  Now, I have to go to the Start button, right click then select Explorer, then scroll down to the CD drive (drive D on my box) and and then proceed from there to listen to a disc.  How can I get this DOS window?  Thank you.

• Problems with error Windows Audio and Control Panel "one or more of the audio service is not running.

  I'm a bit of a technophobe, but I'll try to explain my problem, I got better.  I recently had a problem with Windows 8 and refreshed my system.  After refreshing, I installed AVG Anti-virus and that's where my problems really started.  After installing AVG I have no sound and my control panel usually pop up.  The box is displayed but there is nothing in it and it sorts just of sticks, frozen.  I tried the fixes recommended to fix my sound. The speaker in my taskbar icon has a red x on it and when I try to open it it goes right to the problem-solving mode, then comes up with "one or more of the audio service is not running.  When I try "run services.msc' and try to start Windows Audio through Services I get error 0x800706cc.  I tried to uninstall AVG and reboot, but it did make a difference.  Please help, this leads me to the madness now.  Nothing I try seems to work!

  Installation of AVG is when the problems started, I would start by undoing that.  Since the normal uninstall did not help, use system restore to return to a work situation.  Check here and use the #1 option.

• Drop Down Menu problems

  I'm having a problem with my menu drop-down. In the MUSE, it shows the fall down under the appropriate heading. On the online site, however, is when it starts to spoil. In this case, as you can see in the image below, it is my 'MEDIA' tab in the main menu. When you click on 'MEDIA', it shows the drop-down options; However, they are on the far left of the page. He place them just below the 'MEDIA '. You can see them under the logo. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

• drop-down lists on the forms don't drop-down list

  I use Firefox 3.6.16 on Mandriva 2010.2 and for the last two months, the drop-down lists don't dropdown. I thought a patch would come out to fix it or it would be one of my modules cause. There was an update recently and it has not fixed. Today, I've disabled all addons and restarted, but still it does not allow me to make a choice with the mouse.

  There are many similar problems with FF4, but none of the solutions appear to be relevant.

  Anyone got any suggestions?

  There is no need to create a new thread. You can edit your first post and change the title, if you want to change it or I can do it if you post a better title.

  Problems with a menu drop-down does not not can be caused by an extension.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

• Drop-down list arrow to IE10 flashing menu shows

  After installing IE10 on my Windows 7 Service Pack 1, 64-bit system, I noticed two problems:

  (1) the drop down arrow behaves differently.  For example, when you change the planning backup and restore, the time is 12:00.  I have to press the CTRL key to select between 09:00 and save.

  (2) on the incoming mail to Outcom.com , if the screen is too wide, I can move me is more the lower bar to see the entire screen.  He continues to go back on the left side.  The key does not work in this situation. (Used to move the lower bar and leave it in the middle of the screen, but it does not work).

  These are two different issues, but I wanted to just list the people together where there is a solution at the same time, that is, Flash Player, etc.
