• remote control stops working

  I have a 600PC Touchsmart with TV tuner comes with a remote control to control TV channels / volume... etc.

  It worked well for about 12 months. Now, the remote control works well when the PC is first turned on, but then stops working after about 20 minutes.  Only, it works again when the PC has been activated and turn it back on.

  I replaced the batteries and the remote control - but this happens again - which leads me to think that this is a problem in the PC itself.

  This may or may not be connected, but at the same time - the wireless mouse has stopped working and I had to buy a different mouse wth a wireless transmitter, connected to a USB port and now works fine.

  Any ideas what could be the problem?

  To see if it solves the problem, follow these steps:

  1. "control Panel."

  2 system.

  3. "Device Manager."

  4 expand "controllers of Bus USB"

  5 right click on each of the items listed individually and select 'Properties' for each item. If there is a "power management" tab click on it. Make sure that the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power " unchecked.

  6 click on "OK" and "restart" your computer.

  If they are not already checked, simply reply with it.

• Touch control stopped working dv7 notebook

  Whenever my laptop is awake mode standby or rebooted, I get a message that "Touch Control has stopped working.  This is a very annoying message that apparently has no real function as SimplePass always work the next time without any problem.

  I did a Hard Reset and Panel to perform a repair on HP SimplePass.

  None of these have solved the problem, and it has not changed.

  Other suggestions for a "fix"would be greatly appreciated."

  The problem is solved thanks to advice from a user to a different thread.

  I had to open HP SimplePass, export my identity as a backup file, and then download a driver for the SimplePass program update.  I found using HP help and Support, had the scan for my machine and configuration system and search for the new driver under the Security section.  The file I used, specific to my machine, has been 'sp63224.exe '.

  He offered two choices: repair and remove also the option buttons.  In the beginning, I chose repair, and this process does not work.  Once I was convinced to have the exported backup, I then used the Remove option, and the update then deleted the old version and install a new one.

  The problem is solved with a new driver.

• Try to get a menu drop-down multilayer to work

  I'm experimenting with to get a menu to drop down in two stages. The menu must be generated from XML, and the menu is supposed to be structured as follows, with menu items that appear when rolling on the menu item in the root and sub menu items apprearin when rolling on the menu item in the menu.

  Everything seems to work well, except that the root and hand are still visible. • * URGENT * buttons within a menu "drop-down" don't work well...?

  I have a 'drop down menu ' (which is in fact silent...) with 4 buttons on the inside. The menu BG is just a movieclip containing the buttons. The problem is, when you hover over a button of the menu drop-down retracts. How do I get flash to examine the buttons to be part of the background, so he doesn't think you're mousing on when you hover over the buttons?

  The berries are unnecessary because 1) they have scope in functions 2) you create a new one for each tween.  If this code from a tutorial, you'll do yourself a favor to abandon the one who wrote it in the future.  It might be that you just revised the code without knowing how it should be done given that other aspects of your code that are simply false as well.  Change the following and see if it works...

• Drop-down links not working not

  I just got back the. HTM files for file decompiled to HTMLHelp (.chm) I sent for localization. The English source files came from RH6 I think. Today I have just the files, I recompiled the CHM file using the far HTML help compiler tool. During the test, I noticed that my links drop-down list growing. When I click on it nothing seems to happen. Popup links are however very well.

  Thanks for the reply Colum. The problem was not so good. The English links work very well and had not the code you mentioned. Note that the .htm files is no longer resident inside HR. They were built in a .chm, and then the .chm been decompiled for translation.

  I have trouble-shot (is that a Word?) cela all day yesterday and found that the problem is due to the source code in the translated No .htm files does not line breaks. All the source code is on a single line (see code below). It tends to spoil some of the javascripts. In this particular case the javascript function, kadovTextPopupinit, won't work because it is commented out because of the comment tag,

  The solution has been is to insert a newline in front of kadovTextPopupInit, like this:

  Then the javascript function works correctly. Now the problem that makes reaching the 3000 topics + in the aid project translated. I'm writing my own VB tool for this.

  Twice this week, taken my notebooks usb stopped working, after you run the troubleshooter and clicking on the fix for this problem - nothing the problem was still there.

  Open the console of the system and by clicking on host usb controller he helpfully said that the device was not working (code 10) I have no idea what code 10 is.

  I uninstalled all the USB drivers, restarted my laptop and on my spare mouse inserting my laptop did indeed reload the usb drivers and everything works now. Thank you.

  The culprit was a driver for a HP officejetpro who has been uncomptable with my CPU (AMD C - 50 rated at 1 GHz).  Windows7 64 bit, 4 GB of Ram. HP sent me a fix but as nothing works I could not install it.

  I have not yet installed the printer. and once again thank you for your advice.

  This icon represents audio setting, either boost or accentuation of acute basis.

  On the home screen, press the call button to open the newspaper. Press the menu/action key to open the menu and choose options.
