Problem of reinstallation of Windows 8

Hello. One of my friends bought a HP Omni 120 Office opportunity a computer supplied with Windows 8. There are a few problems...

1. it is polluted by malicious software.

2. even worse... The girlfriend of previous owners messed with it and I see that if the recovery partition is there, it's empty so I can't use it to restore it to the factory. The computer came with any recovery media either. I have an iso of MS Windows 8.1 official that I did and I used several times in the past to restore some computers. I put this drive on this computer and thought I get to reinstall Win8 easily, but this isn't the case. I'm stuck with a driver problem. I have a screenshot below what is happening. Any ideas what I need to do to go beyond that and get Windows back here? Thank you!

The MS tool creates the retail installation media; the version preinstalled on your HP OEM computer - they are not the same.

You said that you had an ISO; Nowhere has seen in your message that you used the MS tool that also allows you to create installation media by using a USB key. So, I told you how you can do this with RUFUS.

Some people also said that the media of the Win8.1 of the MS tool will accept Win8 product keys for activation, not only the Win8.1 keys.  I found it of true because I did a clean install using the media of this tool and used my existing Win8 product key to activate it.

There were claims that the version of the tool MS Win8.1 CAN accept the OEM product keys, but these claims have also been challenged.

Don't know of anywhere that you can download an ISO of Win8 - and even in this case, that would be the same limitations as the ISO Win8.1 - he would not accept a product key OEM HP for activation.

Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.

    Re-installing Dell inspiron 19 has windows 7

    People,

I have a Dell Inspiron 19. The Dell of Dell diagnostics disk utilities & drivers say all right. It is a Seagate 320 GB drive. I installed the drive on another computer and used sea tools to erase the disc.  Then I created a partition and marked as "bootable".

When I try to use the Dell reinstallation DVD Windows 7 Home premium SP1 64-bit, it crashes when is about to display the windows logo.  A few pixels logo show and then it's there.  Any ideas?  I worked on it for several days.  Really a "stumper" for me and I did something like that for years!

Original problem seems to be a massive viral infection (owner had no active antivirus software installation!) which led to the non-bootable computer.  After working on this for a while, I decided to just do again it.

    Hello

After a reinstall of the operating system, you must reinstall the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer's website:

Go to the website to make your computer > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.

    ________________________________________

And you do not tell us why you did a reinstall and if there reboot/freeze before you did this reinstall.

FYI: Desktop computers normally are Wi - fi unless you install additional hardware for this.

Noise inside a desktop computer can be caused by fan/s or harddrives about to fail.

Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > search your computer specifications > know brand of hard drive > access the Hard Drive manufacturer's Web site > find and download hard drive Diagnostic software and make a record of start of it on the computer that you use to get here, following their instructions > test your hard drive...

  • HP Pavilion m6 - 1084ca: audio very weak after reinstallation of Windows 10

After having some problems, I have reinstalled Windows 10.  Now, my sound is very low, even when the 100% value.  I tried all the fixes common - affecting drivers Audio of High Def, deactivation/activation of the improvements, etc..

I think it might have something to do with the fact that I'm supposed to have Beats Audio on my laptop, but it has never been reinstalled.

    Thank you

    Hello

The amd HD driver is bound to the audio via a hdmi connection - idt audio driver that I linked to in my previous post is for your laptops internal speakers and should also provide the heartbeat GUI.

Open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  The new provision, if you see now a symbol of beats, open it and verify that it is enabled.

  • Having a weird problem with the new window. Download the old look of firefox with incorrect URL and messy appearance.

I opened a new window in the main window of Firefox. The new window is nothing like on the main window of Firefox 4 Beta. And when I have tabs in a new window, the URL doesn't change. Infact, it changes nothing in the tabs. It remains that if I change it manually.

I do not encounter this problem in the main window of Firefox. If I open a new window of hand. Why is this?

Take a look at the screenshots I did.

    Main window
    New window

You may also notice the tab I'm the and the URL is displayed in the image of the new window. You can see what I'm talking about here.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

    • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

  • Problems installing iTunes on Windows 10 12.3.1.23

    Hello

I had this problem for two weeks, I don't know how to solve, and it would be good to have help.

Two weeks ago, I noticed that after I had plugged my iPhone into my PC 5, only Windows Explorer recognized iTunes didn't.

So I tried to see if there were updates for iTunes, but no update has been published.

I used Windows 10 tools to uninstall it and then tried to install it again.

Before that, I used CCleaner to make sure that no left, files or old registry key remained in Windows.

Then I tried to install iTunes 12.3.1.23 by downloading from the Apple Web site and by opening the Setup program.

Since then, every time, when I try to install iTunes, installation work until it says "Restore action", and a new mask appears, where it is written that there is a problem and that Setup could not install the software.

After trying this for 3 - 4 times, I went to C:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update and tried to run all executable files in this folder, which contains installers for each program, Apple needs to install iTunes on PC separatelly, distinguished by the installation program downloaded by the Apple because one website you can download contains all the facilities of programs in a single installer.

I managed to install all the software, with the exception of the Apple Mobile Device Support (version 9.1.0.6), who, as program controls when a unit Apple is plugged to the PC, and it has not worked since the beginning and is the one who made me do all this, in my view, is the same as the one send me problems during the installation of iTunes when I run the installation program downloaded by the Apple Web site.

Anyone have the same problem and/or know how to fix this problem?

    I have 10 Home Windows (64-bit) version 1511.

    Thank you

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Your library must be affected by these measures but there are also links to the backup and recovery advice it should be necessary.

In some cases with 64-bit systems, you may need to install the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for older video cards) and QuickTime to enable iTunes work with some videos. 32-bit users must install QuickTime.
