• Vimeo does not load correctly, just the version base HTML; Vimeo support cannot resolve the problem, says that's not on their end. I can access through Chrome.

  Unexpectedly, a few weeks ago, I wasn't able to load the Vimeo page, it loads just the HTML version of basic (white page with all the links in blue, one under the other); I can not connect as it is says my "form session has expired', which apparently refers to the cookies. Vimeo support have been troubleshooting for more than a week and none of the suggestions changed one thing, while they have concluded the problem is not on their end.
  I have cleared the cache, cookies and history, there is no Add ons, I reset and restarted Firefox in safe mode, I uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, nothing has changed. I have no problem with any other site and Chrome can be accessed, but I prefer to stay on Firefox.
  I installed a previous version of Firefox (3.6.26) and he let me load the Vimeo page, but since it has exceeded it would cause problems with some links, so I'm back to version 29.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated, as that becomes quite annoying for me.

  If you use extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) which can block content (e.g., Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

  You can check the network and the Net log log in the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) to see which files are blocked and display a file of size zero.

• Problems with WiFi from Toshiba and their lack of support - you're not alone

  For those of you out there problems with WiFi on a Toshiba laptop, you're certainly not alone.

  Over the past years, I have noticed a growing number of different brands and models of computers laptop toshiba and laptops with the same problem.
  Last year, 100% of the toshibas that came in my workshop have had this problem, it is about 75% of the laptops that I fixed.

  These models have all hardware wifi (Agere, Intel and Realtek)

  The wifi switch is on, on the same computer, some programs to detect as being market, others see it as extinct.
  What, it doesn't connect to a same wireless router when used to.

  Responses of toshiba were the usual non-professional form response from: it must be the router, try to flip the switch, you have updated the bios?, update the drivers et al.

  It is a software problem, and given the number of people on this forum talking about the same issue, it's a great.

  Often, I came across the issue of windows for communication services wireless disabled by software of Toshiba and I believe, that it is a conflict between tosh software and various other (zone alarm, windows and al.)

  In some cases, the software seems to intervene and to corrupt the OS from windows drivers and interfere with their implementation and enforcement, which is worrying, the software doesn't have to touch all areas. (if not, what is the point of a BONE in layers)

  I sometimes managed to force to work (for example manually restart the services), but these solutions are not a "clean way" of doing things.

  The most reliable way to solve this problem seems to be, backup your data and reformat back to the manufacturer's specifications, and then immediately uninstall the software from toshiba and update the drivers terribly old (even those on the site are about one year more up-to-date for the model I'm working currently on.) Unfortunately most of my clients is companies that need a LOT of data stored in different saved locations, then a ton of programs specialized to be reinstalled, which is slow and costly.

  Please make it a sticky in this forum for all the REAL solutions, not one of the threads that I watched with your suggestions has been resolved.

  If there is little no support for your products in this regard, I will contact the ACCC, choices, and associations of trade fair with an open letter that I ask all customers affected to sign, and I will put a national call for people with the same problem to come forward.

  I would like to ask also if you encounter a problem where your wifi stopped working and it does not detect or work, please just post "bump" under here so that we can keep way reasonably clutter free.

  I used to recommend Toshiba and Asus for laptops, now, this list is one.

  You can do what you want but as mentioned above; WiFi problems are not specific to a laptop manufactures, you'll notice WLan issues on computers (laptops, desktops computers) all manufactured products.
  I had 4 different books of four various manufacturers and ALL had problems of WiFi, but most problems could be solved by the driver update, change, or reset of the router are.

• iCloud library problems I am unable to synchronize all the photos

  I was unable to properly synchronize my photos for months. iCloud is stuck in the cloud of pictures. When I sync there are 6 pictures that are invisible. Can I delete all the photos in the cloud, and it shows still 6 pictures it in my settings. My iPhone tries to synchronize these photos and burns through my battery, whenever I am connected to wifi. • WUSB54gC problem ip address cannot be renewed

  I had difficulties to get lately a desktop pc which officially now works for access to the internet.  I deleted the drivers and re-installed them and now it says it cannot renew the IP address.  Can someone help me understand how to get this connected again?

  When I look at the hardware in the Device Manager it says it's working properly.  When I downloaded the driver again, that she asked if I needed a version 3 or ver1: my device don't have version on it I chose the version one.

  I also have a new Rangeplus Linksys N router because I thought I was having router problems, but this isn't it.  This router is a Linksys G router and all devices work with it accept that with this wireless card, I won't change the N Router eventually.  A question that might solve or make it appear something else.  I have two laptops that are able to access the network and my children have iPods touch.  It may be that I'm maxing out on wireless connections?  It wasn't the problem before because my college kid just back - one of the laptops and Ipods have been hers.  Any help is appreciated.

• Problem just started, unable to see area but can be seen on the other PC on the network - can connect to the area but no access to resources.

  Have client with the latest Lenovo laptop, running Windows 7 Pro, part of a Windows 2008 domain. User never had problems earlier but takes off mobile out of office last week that he had then only on vacation. The user has Verizon Wireless for Internet access so that resign. User returned, connected area through the configuration of a connection without error, but was unable to access resources in any domain. No applications have been installed on the laptop so that it is on vacation. In windows Explorer, the user can see as other NAS PC's, printers, other devices on the network and able to access the Internet, but the doman and the server are missing from the list. The connection of the user from another PC to check the profile is ok, the user was able to resources in the domain from another PC. Had a different network user trying to connect on the laptop and had the same problem so I am confident that the problem is with the laptop itself and not domain or server. Also tried to disable the firewall on the computer laptop but did not help, empty DNS and other entries in cache but nothing helped. There were a few normal .net updates on laptop while resign but that was about it. Laptop is running Microsoft's Security Essentials for virus protection.

  Any ideas on how to resolve the additional or possible causes?

  I have been using Adobe CC for a few months. It was only a month ago, when I received a notification that I need to renew and update my payment information. • ESX - problems with snapshots

  Recently, we have som issues with our 4 ESX. We have solved the main question which is how to recover the esxconsole.vmdk.   However we start the couldn t of virtual machines. I solved this problem by using the KB1002511 (sea above). Now it starts up fine however it starts like it where 13 December 2011, that was before I did the first snapshot.

  In my datastore1 I have these files to my VM Wiki:

  It seems that you have lost the file descriptor for snapshots and attached the basic disk to the virtual machine, which caused the "loss" of the current data. Because you have turned on on the virtual machine with the base attached disk, there could be a corruption of data in the file system, even though I think it should be minor because of the size of the snapshot. I created a set of files based on the timestamp of the hard file that needs repair instant chain and run the virtual machine snapshot 4.

  Please follow these steps:

  1. power off the virtual machine (in fact, I hope that it is always off)
  2. remove the virtual machine from the inventory (right-click the virtual machine)
  3. Download the files from the .zip file attached to the file of the virtual machine on the data store
  4. Add the virtual machine to inventory (right-click the .vmx file)
  5. create a new snapshot!
  6. Turn on the virtual machine

• Problem deleting snapshots

  I tried to make my smaller Windows XP VM for about a week now. I was scanning through many forums, have almost tried everything.

  The problem started when the main player of the Mac started to get tight on space. I used the disk inventory X to see what has been filling the disk and saw that my Windows XP VM, which has only one virtual disk of 40 GB, was about 87 GB. I opened the pacckage and there are 37 games of vmdk files.

  I did most of my tinkering on a copy of the virtual machine (had to buy an external hard drive, I so had the space to do!) but I had a few initial changes if the GUI on the original virtual machine.

  I tried to remove some of the snapshots (a combination of manual and auto-protect instant) but I kept getting the error "there was an error while trying to delete the snapshot. "Impossible to clean deleted files: the specified virtual disk needs to be repaired. The snapshot disappear if GUI.

  Instant MISTLETOE does currently show no snapshots, but the settings / Hard Disk sectionsays I can't do anything on the drive because there are snapshots. Can I take a new snapshot with success but when I remove it I get the error message above.

  I looked at the file .vmsd using a text editor, and it seems that it might be damaged. He registered 12 snapshots, and many of them have the same UID and refer to the same file. I saw an ad or KB article forum who suggested deleting the file .vmsd and let VMWare re-create it, but again, I can't take a snapshot, then delete it with success.

  My last attempt was to follow the steps listed here:

  When I do this, I am able to do successfully a new virtual disk, but when I start the new machine this drive, I have a computer that is more than a year.

  I move up the chain of the CIDs in the vmdk files, and while they are not in order, they don't seem to have a single linear chain.

  The environment is Mac OS x Leopard, Fusion 2.0

  You always have a copy of the Virtual Machine that is operating normally and has not been modified by your DIY?

  If Yes, I would like to use Paragon go virtual to create a new Virtual Machine from it.  This would be the fastest and easier to solve this problem.

• problem with snapshots and provisioning

  Hi, I'm having a few problems creating templates of virtual machines with snapshots. Virtual machines use a provisioning, but when I take a snapshot of the virtual disk is marked as thick (it seems to be a known bug http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1020137), although it actually uses a provisioning. So, when I clone the virtual machine and mark it as a model, this new model is configured as thickness of provisioning.

  I was not able to force the new model to create as a provisioning via the Perl SDK.  Does anyone know how I could force the model to use provisioning?

  In general, in order to convert the discs thick thin discs using the CloneVM_Task API, you need to set the VirtualMachineCloneSpec.location.transform as VirtualMachineRelocateTransformation.sparse. To perform the reverse operation, i.e. to convert a disc thin thick disk, set the property transform as VirtualMachineRelocateTransformation.flat

  Then Python from here: http://www.python.org/ (latest version 2.6 from 01 Oct 08)

  Now try to run the examples, and every time I have error 1046 Python new Session (LabVIEW: LabVIEW cannot initialize the script server.)  Make sure that the server software is installed.).

  Did I miss something? It's my first experience with Python...

  Oh, Yes.

  The problem was that LabPython is not compatible with Python 2.6. Python25.dll is necessary (called lvpython.dll).

  I just copied Python26.dll Python25.dll and now it works. Will download and install the previous version...
