Problem on a windows 7 license.
If earlier I bought a license windows 7, then I went to pc and reinstalled on the new pc that worked. Now, I have the problem that my pc broke (the motherboard and CPU fried because of some weird electricity shortage thingie). Can I still use this license? Can I uninstall the Installation on the hard drive and just put the old hard drive in the new pc and install again? Or will I need a new license? Or should I just call the hotline in windows and explain it to them? Note that I live in Germany and I don't know if there is even a German microsoft helpdesk.
Thanks in advance.

What sticker? Stickers come normally with preinstalled versions only
Windows. If you have purchased and installed yourself, there is no
sticker.
But he did not come preinstalled on the and I already used it on 2 different PCs
Then, you got away with violation of the rules.
but this time I can not uninstall old motherboard offshore because well... it is fried.
See the response of Andre Da Costa, but also to note the following: it is not
installed on the motherboard; It is installed on the hard drive. If the
diving hard drive is fried, it is actually already uninstalled; If the hard drive
disc is not fried, you can uninstall it by connecting the drive to
any other computer and formatting of y.

Reuse of Windows 7 license after free update of Windows 10?
Hi all!
I was wondering if I'll be free to reuse my Windows 7 license key after the free upgrade to Windows 10 on July 29.
I've already reserved my copy, and yes I'm very happy. The only problem I see is because it is a version of Windows 7 OEM for Sony VAIO, so maybe it will not work if I use it in a new computer? If I can in any?
I hope that you guys understand my question and good day!
Hello
Your Windows 7 OEM license has become an integral part of the upgrade to Windows 10 process.
If you cannot reinstall Windows 7 as a dual boot either in your Sony or move it to another computer.
OEM licenses that you cannot transfer anyway.
OEM licenses are tied to the first machine, on which they are installed and die when the machine that dies.
See you soon.

I'm considering the purchase of three laptops for home use and the case I've seen is for three laptops without operating system. I prefer Windows 7 64 - bit Windows 8 and, of course, need a license of user-3. I don't mind if it's Home Basic, Home Premium, professional or ultimate edition, but an 'Upgrade' will work and if not, what would? I have a spare disk Vista Ultimate, which I have not used more than once when I tried the upgrade to XP and didn't like it, so I went back to XP (present under Windows 7 Ultimate for my main PC) Vista has been in the area since then. I hope I did not install Vista Ultimate on all computers laptops before moving on to 3 Windows 7 license, three but I have a feeling vague feeling that I have to do exactly this. You confirm please?
Original title: clean install on the new laptop
Just keep in mind that the OEM versions are equipped with the installation media DVD 32-bit or 64-bit (not both as a retail version) and a product key.
Also the OEM versions are related to the first card of mother/computer it is installed on and cannot be moved to another PC.
The cost of an OEM version is much cheaper than commercial versions, especially since Microsoft stopped selling Windows 7.

As laptops have no OS installed, you need a way to test the system before you try to install an OEM version. I've provided two links to download Windows 7 Home premium (not), but you can install (install without a key) and it allows to test each laptop computer before installing an OEM version.

Two points:
1. it is unlikely that your current installation would work if
you have changed motherboards. You need to reinstall itself.2 but you cannot use your current copy of Windows if you change
motherboards, not even if reinstall you it cleanly. The largest
disadvantage of an OEM version, is that its license it binds permanently
the first computer, it is installed on and Microsoft believes that
If you change the motherboards, another computer. It can never
legally be moved to another computer, sold or transferred (except with)
the original computer). If the computer dies or is stolen, your
license dies with him.Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP

Windows 8 license after replacing the HARD drive
Original title: change of equipment (HARD drive)
Good night, I have a computer laptop windows 8 and I fear that the HARD drive (malfunction) he'll need replacement.

Activation pairs your product key in your hardware configuration and helps to verify that your copy of Windows is not been used on more computers than to allow the 3668Microsoft Software License Terms.
If you change the hardware on your PC, you must contact support to activate Windows by phone.
As you have decided to replace the hard drive, you could face an activation/Windows not genuine error. You can follow these steps to make a phone activation.
a. press Windows key + X , then click run, then type: slui.exe 4
b. press the ENTER key
c. Select your country from the list.
d. choose telephone activation .
e. stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
f. explain your problem to the support person

Problem sleeping satellite Windows C50D 8.1 - A - 13 G
Hello
I hope someone who knows more about than me power management can help!
I bought a C50D Satellite - A - 13 G a few days ago and it was fine. However, a problem with the mode 'sleep' has begun today.
The laptop goes into mode 'sleep' as expected (when the lid is closed or when I press the power button). However, when I press the power button to turn it back on, it comes to life for a few seconds - the screen is on and I can move the mouse and interact with other things - but so goes backward layout 'sleep' again. What can I do to make it work is to close completely by holding down the power button then restarting.
The laptop is fully charged and plugged or unplugged happy.
I don't know if this is related, but my mouse won't wake the portable computer, even if it is set to do in its power management settings in Device Manager.
Everyone knows about this problem in Windows before 8?
Thank you
Jason
Guess what, it s the first time that I m reading on such problem laptop under Windows 8
I'm not quite sure if his problem software or hardware and, therefore, I recommend you to reset the system.
How?
Check this doc: [Windows 8 recovery & repair | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htm]Option called Reset the PC would set the laptop back to factory settings.
After that the laptop has been reset, test mode "Eve". -
