Problem on Camera Raw 9.0.0.414 with presets

On Camera Raw, 9.0.0.414, when I apply a preset (preset), the process passes in 2003, whereas I usually work with the 2012 (Current). This resets all my previous settings by default. I use settings presets to apply the sharpness and noise reduction, so I need to apply the settings as the last step of the workflow.

Found the workaround: need to re - register all my presets with Process Version checked in preset save settings

  • Cursor problem in camera raw

Hi, I'm on a mac OS 10.11.1. 24 GB of memory are installed. The graphics card is NVIDIA Quadro 4000 2048 MB. I use photoshop CC 2015 01 Release. Recently I started having a problem in camera raw which may coincide with a recent update CC15. When I treat a raw file in ACR, words like clarity, contrast, exposure, etc., disappear as soon as I move a slider. This also happens when I use the camera raw filter. Move the sliders again changes the image, but I don't really know what I am drag once the descriptive text disappears.  I 'use the graphics processor' unchecked preferences in camera raw. Thanks for your help.problem.jpg

  • TEXT DISPLAY PROBLEM IN CAMERA RAW

    Hello

I have a text display problem in Camera Raw. Where there are labels of boxes that need to be checked, for example in the preferences or settings to be pasted to another file, the text is unreadable print. What happens is that he takes to the bottom of half of the top line and half top of the bottom line, rather than by extending the line if the text is only on a single line. It is a problem for me to see all the options. It's the same on all the text of the label within the program.

I have attached a few screenshots to illustrate the problem.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Carl

The problem is not with the size of the screen, but with the "pixel density" (never forget, that the density of physical pixels of the monitor is indicated). Right-click on the desktop and select Properties (or go to control panel and select display). On the Control Panel, select Advanced; the general Panel contains the DPI setting. I guess that the parameter is now greater than 96 dpi.

I created a thread on this problem, which must have been at least two years ago. The answer was, as 1. Adobe will solve the problem, 2. It is a problem only with the classic Windows style (under the appearance tab). I have not tested with the XP style, because I prefer the classic style; I'm cursed and live with this shit (my setting is 120dpi).

BTW, this may be much worse than half-readable labels: buttons, fields, text can disappear completely (you may even not notice, that there should be other buttons and the Panel options)...

  • Problem updating Camera Raw in PSE8

I PSE8 (no update available via help/updates) and a version of plugin Camera Raw default 5.5.0.97 installed.

However I need at least version 6.2 of camera raw to be able to read my taken with the EOS 60 d raw files.

When I try the updater 6.2 (or another more recent update) Application Adoble Manager gives an error message: "Failed to update" - updates cannot be applied. The patch is not applicable to you.

It worked on my old computer, but when I transferred to my new computer pse8, I'm done with this problem.

Is there a place I can dl pse8 with a newer camera raw plugin included?

-There's a link to Camera Raw 6.2 'normal install' (not the update), so I can uninstall the version I have and install a new one?

    D ' other ideas?

    Thanks for your time,

    Kjetil Johannesen

First of all, you are right that your camera requires the version of ACR 6.2 and PSE8 is indicated as being able to be upgraded to 6.2.

FAQ: Photoshop Elements will work with my camera, or why does not open my raw files?

So the question is, have you used the menu Help > Update to update your version of PSE8? Do you have an error message?

If you used the menu Help > about Plugins and you're still on ACR 5.5, will have to find a way to install ACR 6.2 with PSE8.

    Download the correct version:

Adobe: Photoshop Elements for Windows: Camera Raw 6.2 update

Read the Readme file to install. http://www.Adobe.com/special/Photoshop/camera_raw/Camera_Raw_6.2_ReadMe.PDF

    Does that help?

  • Problems using Camera Raw in Bridge CS5.1

Hey so I don't know what the devil is going on, but the Camera Raw worked perfectly for me when I first came to this computer. It is a work computer, and all programs have been installed recently. I like to use Camera Raw due to changes in basic easy and made massive (from .nef to .jpg) because I do a lot of shooting as a journalist.

As I said, it worked very well for me these last three weeks. Now, I get this error message:

The Camera Raw editing is not enabled

Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this feature.

I just installed the program, alongside the editor of PES 12, and I have no idea how to solve this problem. Of course, I opened the Bridge and PSE, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now.

Please please help. It's a MAJOR pain in the anus to change each picture manually in PSE.

Try resetting preferences.  Hold down the option key and launch Bridge.  You should get a window to reset.

If this does not work, it may be how they programs installed.  They use a disc?

  • Problem of Camera Raw 5.5?

I upgraded to Lightroom 2.5 yesterday (20/09/09), which includes an upgrade to Adobe Camera Raw 5.5.  I started to see a purple artifact appear in highlights after making changes.  (I haven't studied yet enough to identify what editing tool triggers the artifact, or maybe all of them.)  Even when I get back story to the stage of original import the purple artifact remains visible on the screen.

I work with the E-510 of Olympus ORF files.  ORF is Olympus RAW format.

When I use the command "change in" LR to open the same file in Photoshop CS4 11.0.1, with or without changes in LR, artifact highlights remains.  LR instructed me to upgrade ACR 5.5 in Photoshop, for compatibility with LR 2.5, which I did before opening the first file.  When later, I opened the same ORF file directly from PS, it contained the artifact of highlights.

When I save a JPG of LR, the artifact has remained in the JPG file.  Open the JPG file in preview from Apple shows that the artifact is at the pixel level - this is without using an Adobe product to view the image.  The bug is therefore not limited to the display of images, but also to the treatment and saving images.

To verify that the ORF (RAW) file was modified by LR, I opened it in LightZone 3.8.  Points strong artifact is missing in the image processed by LightZone.  That is why the products Adobe has not changed the ORF (RAW) file.  Because the artifact is present in two Adobe products that depend on the ACR 5.5, the bug is probably in ACR 5.5.  Maybe in the calibration for the E-510?

I suspect the bug in ACR 5.5 is caused by a bad normalization of the channels R, G and B bright at the end of the histogram, so that the color balance is not maintained when a channel is blown.

Cultures of the image JPG 5.5 LR/ACR and the JPG LightZone is visible to:

  • Problem updating Camera Raw CS4

After a re installation computer, I try to get the raw files from my Olympus E - 620 working with Photoshop CS4.  After some research (and attempts), I found that I can use Adobe Camera Raw versions up to 5.7.  I downloaded the update and it appears the application CameraProfiles in order to install correctly, but my plugin version 5.0.0.178 rest and my raw files opens (incorrect file type errors).  Windows 7 64-bit.  I prefer not to use the digital negative converter but do it properly installed (not yet tried).  Thank you!

If, as you say, it installed, it should have gone in the wrong folder. I suggest that you use the Windows Explorer and navigate to the Program Files folder and search for *.8bi. Camera Raw should be included in the folder C:\Program Files\Common Adobe Plug-Ins\CS. If you see a list for both Camera Raw files, I suggest that you change the extension on the one who is in the right folder to old. That to copy the other Camera Raw files into this folder. At least it's something to try.

  • problem of camera raw 5.7 update/mac elements 8

I bought elements 8 04/19/10 and performed for some reason 5.0 version of camera raw is come with the download... looks like a newer version should have to purchase and download of the 8 elements.  in any case, I tried to download 5.7, follow the steps as indicated, however, it doesn't seem to work... everytime I try to open it, I get the message of the PES: "could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this file type.  When I try to open a photo in camera raw, it always opens in 5.0, even if I removed that of format of file as indicated and replaced by the updated version...  It seems that I did something wrong, I just can't understand that.  any help would be appreciated!

Are you talking about PSE or bridge? (only bridge comes with 5.0 - PSE came with a later version) You should update bridge separately by selecting help > updates in the bridge and it will update.

  • Camera Raw does not always work with Nikon D750

I installed the plugin Camera Raw Photoshop Adobe CC and all applications in the suite that use it and still can not open the raw files produced by some devices. If adobe offers an upgrade, you would think that they already takes into account that with the most recent.

    The latest installed versions are

    Camera RAW 9.7.0.688

    Photoshop CC 20160722.r.156 x 64

Why is it still not fixed?

Camera Raw has supported the D750 since version 8.7. There are many users who work with their D750 for quite awhile now. It seems that there is another problem with your system. You may use Nikon software to upload your images.  If this is the case, it may be them changes in a way that makes them unreadable by Camera Raw. But your experience is not compatible with many other users.

  • What is the last Camera Raw update I can get with PS 6.0?

I own Photoshop 6.0 and want to know what version of ACR, I can update to. I have ACR 9.1.1.  There is little time, I had a problem with Lightroom 6.1 refusing to make the updates; Adobe has me reinstall LR to fix, but I wonder if I'm having the same problem with PS 6.0. I'd rather not go by reinstalling PS especially if it does not update beyond this version of ACR.

So, the question is, I went as far as Adobe updates ACR of the PS 6. ?
