Problem on Windows 7 computer network connectivity

The desktop of Windows 7 ether net connected, I had selective network problems. I was unable to access the Web sites, but had no problem to update software and connections to the game servers. I ran antivirus and optimizer software to solve the problem, but I think they may have removed some crucial programs for networking.  Now, I am unable to access the Internet related services all via ether net.

I tried to reinstall the driver for network card to the motherboard. Among network cards, the teredo tunneling adapter displays an error titled code 10. I tried the REGEDIT fix and reinstall the driver.  None of these solutions so far have worked.

I'm not sure whether the mistake of teredo is the cause, but it seems like a common problem. Anyone know how I might be able to solve this problem?

  • Unable to connect to a printer Brother MFC - 240 c to Windows 7 computer network

The computer of my network which is connected directly to the internet and my router is a computer running Windows Vista (32 bit). My computer is connected through the network to access the internet and the printer connected to the computer base. My computer was also under Vista and networking has worked well.

I installed Windows 7 (64-bit, not by choice, done automatically) on my computer and now I can't connect to the printer on the Vista machine. I can access the internet (even if it is significantly slower than when I had vista) and on basic computer file sharing, but I can not configure the printer. The printer is a Brother MFC - 240 c
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

I'm assuming you get an error indicating that the print driver for 64-bit is not installed in the Vista machine.  You can either install a 64-bit driver that has the same name as the x 86 driver on the Win7 machine printing and reattempt the connection, install the 64-bit driver that has the same name on the Vista computer (for other 64-bit machines), but it's more difficult.

Alternatively, you can set the machine to check Windows Update for a printer driver that has the same name as the 32-bit print driver.  If gpedit.mcs run for the version of Windows you have.

  • How can I completely remove windows xp pro network connection screen

Several months ago, I bought a used computer. It is a HP Compaq apparently set on foot for the tuition fees online with K12.org. It came with any disks, and I had an awful time trying to get the login screen for the computer network without having to use it. I managed to find and disable the Client for Microsoft networks according to previous research, but the screen would still pop up. I used the forums for info I would need to get the thing to only us force hitting an "OK" button so that we would not enter a password every time. Now the screen, which allows to popup, will not be shown or only appears intermittently during startup and Windows shows "Starting Windows" and everything crashes and hangs without taking me to the "Welcome" screen

This problem started last night. I'd really like to get this thing to use it without worry.

Any help you offer is greatly appreciated.

Hanging to the startup problem is certainly indicative of a larger problem.

In your case, I highly recommend that you completely reinstall Windows on your machine.  Most of the HP/Compaq machines have a recovery partition which will reinstall Windows on condition "as-bought.  To access this, when you start and the first HP or Compaq startup screen appears, you should see at the bottom of the screen a touch that will put you in the recovery mode.  Press this button quickly because you don't have a lot of time.  Follow the prompts to completely wipe your hard drive and reinstall Windows.  (Make sure that you back up all of the necessary files first).  If you do not have this key, and then connect to the HP site and download the manual for your specific computer model.

If you cannot reinstall Windows, then try a system restore to a point in time before that you had your boot-hanging problem.

  • problems with Windows 7 mapping network drive

I bought a new computer to work today. It's a HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f. Works on Windows 7. All our other computers working under Windows XP. We have an external hard drive that acts as a file shared for the organization. (We are a small non-profit and rather rudimentary.)

I have problems to connect to our "shared drive" - the reader 's' - where all our shared work files are kept. I have connected a hundred times on other computers, but can't seem to get it right with Windows 7... What I do usually it is right click on the 'my computer' icon and click «map drive network...» "Then I put in '\\filecabinet\shared' and he asks a log on and password... I checked the log on and password - everything is correct. When I enter the log and password, I get a message saying that "the specified network password is not correct".

I spoke with two different people at HP. Nothing has worked. I really need access to these shared files in order to work. Help me!!

After authentication on your Windows 7 computer, is there an indication of a field in the dialog box? (If not in a domain, your computer name is represented by a colon after it.) Well, if so, your computer tries to authenticate with domainname\username instead of only User_Name. It gave me trouble when authenticating to a SAMBA file server. Try plugging a "\User_Name". Your computer name should disappear when you type the backslash.
Warning: this was tested on a Windows 7 machine company. This trick should also apply to Win 7 pro. I don't know about other editions if.

  • Dell Inspiron 1525 Windows Vista - limited network connectivity - nointernet

    Hello

I am facing problem with my Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium32bit.

Everything worked well, recently, I deleted a malware windows security databases, after that the display of the network connection is still limited to connectivity, for all types of connections, Ethernet, WiFi, etc. USB tethering. There is no problem with the router. I have hv checked with many links to work.

    I tried following:
    Uninstalling the essential security program
Turn off turn on network interface.
netsh Winsock reset & other commands.
    Uninstalling the network drivers.
    remove entries of regedit Winsock.
    Reinstall the drivers.
    SFC /scannon running
    Try the windows diagnostic tool
    Disabling ipv6.

But after all this the problem persists. In the analysis of sfc logs, CBS.log it displays some error messages such as impossible repair Winsock-core. Looks like the Winsock is corrupt. I tried to uninstall the drivers, removal of winscock entered into regedit and then adding them. Nothing helps. I can't find the Winsock drivers for download.

Can you please help me how I can fix it. Please note that no internet connection established is working with the system. That's why I need to copy all of the files required through memory external strorage.

    Thank you very much

Yes, I did the re-installation of Windows Vista using the CD of the OS that came with the computer installed & portable device using the driver CD drivers. Now the network connectivity works great!

Although I backed up my data it is not necessary that the relocation is not format my drive. He copied old 'windows folder to a windows old folder names"and then all the remaining files, we kept intact.

  • Windows Vista - naughty network connection

I seem to have developed a network of rogue connection in Vista.  When I opened the center of network & sharing, I was informed that I have several networks, there are two available on this screen networks - which show the same sky router (which is the only link that I have and it is set for my Windows PC).  However, one is my original and connection existing, listed as 'Home', and it is a private network.  The other is listed as 'Unidentified' and rises as Public.  It will let me delete this connection as it is said that it is currently in use and of course, if I disable the adapter of the sky, or connections are visible and also cannot be deleted.

I noticed that when I start the PC, it now takes a long time to start - the rest black screens in place for several minutes before the welcome login screen.  Also, I have AVG running and the original sky network has been implemented in the small office or home network and that by default to connect to, however, now, when it starts, AVG reports that it is directly connected "to the Internet" and uses the "unidentified network".  I can't cut it, and if I try to "Connect to a different network", it tells me that there are no available networks.
I really worry that I may have some virus that takes over my network connections.  I now physically disconnected from the PC to the router for security.
If anyone can help me with this question, I would be very grateful.  I did a scan of Malware detected nothing, but I don't know that these things are not infalible.
    Any help gratefully received.
    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for your reply and my apologies for the delay.  I think I have solved this problem and fortunately, I don't think it was the associated virus.  I had made some changes to the configuration of the network connection (changing to "make a new ip address every time" to 'use static ip address' and I think that might have caused the problem.)  I did a system restore to a time before these changes, and my problem disappeared completely.
    Thanks again for your help.

original title: drive hard extreme airport

Using Windows 7 and the Airport Extreme.  The Airport Extreme has a USB port that can be used to mount an external hard drive which is accessible via the wireless connection.  Only thing is, I can't get a 2 GB flash drive will appear for mapping.  When I use the other hard drives, they never show upward for mapping.  They show that it is connected to the Airport Extreme, but are not seen by my PC.   The internet has a rumor according to which hard drives will show up only on a PC if they are to FAT32... which would work without another formatted hard drive.  What do you know about my problems of compatibility with hard drives?

    Hello

Check updates firmware for the Airport Extreme.

    Airport Extreme

    Airport - Support

    ---------------------

Although I think that the question is really the Airport Extreme also updates Windows 7 WiFi.
Check with the system manufacturer and the real device manufacturer updates the driver.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods
below is preferred so that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are
    found)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version.
(Those become your fonts of rescue system manufacturer).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as windows
    7 love the updated drivers.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 8 drops network connection sharing and cannot re-establish the connection

First of all, let me say that this is the same exact symptoms I had with Server 2008 and network shares.  http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2194664

    Now on my current problem:

    I have a windows 8 pro with a SAS/SATA connected 3.5 to raid 5. I'll call this PC1

    I have a windows 8 pro running on Hyper-V hosted by PC1 VM. I'll call this VM1

PC1 is hosting the share PrimaryData F:\

PC1 is hosting the share SecondaryData P:\

The VHD VM and actions are all on the PC1 SAS/SATA Raid5

I have a custom power script that I ran at a time to avoid any form of sleep on all of the machines I use.

I use PPM to the PC1 on VM1 drive mappings

Then, I run a program on VM1 which converts the F:\ share data and once converted it moves other than P:\

This program runs until the data are all converts who should then take days, but he cannot because only a few hourly VM1 displays a red X on the actions of PC1.

When I try to reconnect the actions, they are not reconnected. I ping from PC1 VM1 but I can't connect with a command Net use. Once I got it to reconnect by running a "net use \\PC1\Datapath\PrimaryData" and accidentally forgot to add the mapped drive letter, but strangely it restored all my mapped drives disconnected. I was never able to reproduce even once. Normally, once Im locked, reset is the only answer.

I noticed this is a common problem with users of Windows 8, but his treatises as if it were the first time someone saw that and I saw all my sites of clients where I support Server2008 and spent many months, beating my head, try to understand this.

Please let know us which tests you want to run me and I'll do it and re post. I can duplicate the question at least once a day.

It is possible that I have solved my problem.

Well I don't know if this will work for other users as Im running Virtual Machines, but I edited my power settings for the hard drive itself and it goes 20 m forever if the hard drives never cease to go and so far, I don't lose connection again.

If I stay connected throughout, today I'm going to transfer and this can be closed.
