Fantom iOS 10 alarms

I have iPhone 6s more with iOS 10.0.2. Today, it is at least the second time that an alarm on this subject which is quite unexpected. This time, while I got on a train to work. I know that I have has not yet set the alarm for at least several days. Especially not for the moment, 06:45. When I check all the alarms to see whoever it might be, I see clearly that there is no alarm, when disabled, set to 06:45. It's really disturbing. Is anything else on that?

I'm really disappointed in apple products lately. Even about this, not responsive mobile web site where I am writing this question.

Hi vmvmvm,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

We understand that your iPhone has sounded the alarm on a couple of occasions that you have never configured in the clock application. Because you have only noticed this problem since updating to iOS on iPhone, we perform an insulation here step to try to find out why this is happening.

We want to reinstall you iOS on your iPhone. This should not affect any of your data, but it is always advisable to make sure that you have a current backup in iTunes or iCloud. Backup your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once you have a current backup, follow the steps in the section "If your device turns on but hangs during startup" in this article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won't turn on - Apple Support

These steps will reinstall iOS. Keep in mind that these steps were written for a different issue, but they will always help us to further isolate the situation. Test your iPhone as usual once the relocation over and let us know if the problem persists.

See you soon!

  • iOS 10 - alarm has stopped working

I upgraded my iPhone 6 to iOS 10.0.1 and since the update, when I woke up no longer works. Can I set an alarm, the alarm clock icon appears in the upper display HR, but when it's time to get attention, nothing happens.  The phone does not light, it does not all sounds.  I tried everything I could think and suggestions online, but no luck.

Another weird behavior is that, even after an alarm has passed (without any reaction in the phone) icon in the upper part remains HR.  I can remove all the alarms, the alarm icon is still present on the screen.

I tried the new feature of sleep thinking that it my by a part of the problem, but it does not work.  However, it doesn't have an impact; If I activate the function of the hour of sunset, the icon of awakening on the upper screen HR will disappear and any alarm (on the alarm screen) which was armed gets off.  It is as if the two are mutually exclusive, which means that you can use sunset or traditional alarms, but not both.  Anyone know if this is the case?

I really doubt I'll use the function of the hour of sunset, it's a little strange and not terribly useful for a busy life that is not too predictable to go to bed each night.  However, the loss of the traditional wake total feature is a huge disappointment.

I tried to restart the phone; the only thing that does is make the alarm clock icon to disappear (if he was stuck from a prior alarm). It does not restore the real vibration / sound set alarm function.

I also deleted my way of thinking iHome alarm clock app that alarms this app can somehow compete with the alarm feature native iOS, even if they have all two has worked well in the iOS 9.

Have you deleted all your alarms and added them?

  • Alarm not to play a few songs in iOS 10

    Hello

I have a weird problem in the latest version of iOS 10 (on an iPad) where I select a certain song of the stock clocks app to play as an alarm, but it defaults the sound "radar." This does not happen with all the songs, but it comes up with a few constantly. Does anyone else know this and all solutions? Thanks for your help!

    Hello dwr130,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that after installing iOS 10 on your iPad, when you select a certain song to clock app to use it as a default alarm sound of the radar. This is not the case with all the songs, but it comes up with a few very regularly. I can understand wanting to use many songs for your alarms, I have this on my iPhone.

It seems that the clock app is not responding as it should. I suggest go ahead and force close the clock application, then set a new alarm, and retest with these same songs. The following article will help you: force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Let us know how it goes.

    Have a great day!

  • Alarm and timer does not iOS 6 s 10

Help! After having downloaded the iOS 10, my alarms and timer does not work. During the years that I have had 4 different alarms set - 2 in the morning and 2 the afternoon. This morning the alarm at the top of my phone icon was there, so I assumed that everything was settled as it is normally. I was wrong. My 05:30 alarm has not extinguished the next morning. The next day, I could turn it back on, but when I went to all other lights it shuts down another. It would only be standing. So, I opted for the alarm from 05:30 again. With my phone not allowing an alarm to be defined at the time, now I'm going to put it but it randomly turns off its own. I'm FED UP with it! I used my phone as alarm clock years but had to go out and by a real wake-up call to make sure I wake up in the morning. Not only that, but my timer does not work either. What is someone is having these problems?

I did have the problem where one turn the other goes out, but since I got my iPhone with iOS 10 7 or my alarm not timers turn off. I watched the ticks to zero with no sound, no matter what I do. There is no problem with volume control and I did it with the key "secret" on and outside. I am at a total loss.

  • iOS 9.3.2 problem with alarms (Bug?)

    Hello community members

I m new here and must start with a problem that occure on my iPhone since iOS 9.3.2.

Alex I´m, 17 and I come from Germany. I apologize for any errors I could do

If the problem is that since the iOS 9.3.2 my sensors in the clock app no longer works.

When I set up an alarm, the iPhone automatically disable when I quit the app.

This problem I've had since my iPhone 6. Then I bought for me the iPhone 6s and boot from a backup of the iPhone 6.

Nothing helps me. I often reset the iPhone and turn it on but nothing really works.

 Care cannot help me too. Is that a person having the same problem?

I don't really know what I can do to solve it. Now I use the watch for messages, but I want my iPhone to wake me up

I hope someone can help me.

    Best regards

    Alex

    Hi AlexRis,

Thanks for checking out the Apple Support and communities for details on what is happening with your alarms. I understand that you are experiencing problems with your alarms do not stay on your iPhone. I use a alarm every morning on my iPhone and my Apple Watch so I can understand how it is important to make sure that it works.

I just want to be safe, make sure you follow the steps in the user guide to set up an alarm.

    Alarms and timers - iPhone

Since you already mentioned reboot, the next step that I recommend is to reset all the settings on your iPhone. This does not erase any of your data (like photos, applications, or contacts), but you need to set some default settings save as wallpaper, ringtones, sounds system, restrictions, Touch ID & password and iMessage. You'll also need to reconnect to your Wi - Fi networks then make sure that you have your Wi - Fi in the information available. To reset the settings of your iPhone, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. The iPhone will reboot, then you can test.

If it is not the thing to reset all settings, the next step would be to backup your iPhone and restore it via iTunes. Once restore you, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily) and test without your backup data. If it works, you can restore your backup and test again. You will find articles that will help you with the steps below.

  • iPhone alarm sporadically not working since upgrade to iOS 9.3.1

I have an iPhone 6 and the morning after updating to iOS 9.3.1 the recurring alarm didn't wake me up. I thought that maybe somehow I turned it off, went back to sleep and just do not remember but the next morning it happened again. Only this time, when I got my phone, I could see that the alarm was still ongoing off the coast, but there was no sound, even when the ringer has increased. A test, I set an alarm for the next minute, and it went very well.

I deleted all my recurring alarms and add them as new, hoping that will fix any bug and it was working well for about a month, but it happened to me this morning. I looked at the phone and did not have the alarm off silently or the other.

Has anyone else had a problem? I guess I'll buy a real awakening since I can't trust my phone.

Try a forced reboot - after open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.

Meet the sleep/wake and home buttons down until you see the logo  - then release and allow normal start upward

Also try using a different configuration sound - sounds and see if it has an impact

  • Update iOS 9.3 turns off night alarms

Everyone is having a problem since upgrading to iOS 9.3 with their detectors at night goes off? Is there a way to fix this? I'm sure this has to do with the issue of "upgrade from one day to the next", but I need to get my sensors to work again.

Your phone tries to upgrade to a more recent/build version? If so and you tell it to do if from one day to the next it will attempt the upgrade and stop alarms. My suggestion is to click on later, not overnight or upgrade now which could be risky. Many have updated and are doing very well, many are not.

  • Alarm brings more sound after updating iOS 10

The alarm makes more no noise. I updated my phone a few days ago and initially, it worked, but now when the alarm "goes off" there is no sound. The volume is on and more strong, the phone rings when someone calls and other notifications make noise, but not alarm. Even when you choose a different alarm, no sound (usually, you hear a sample of the alarm). That I am I doing wrong or what happened?

  • IOS based App clock alarm question

The beginning of alarm when you use iPhone at the same time, the alarm 'repeated' down turn when you press OK. This cause of evil that I only expect it to be off before today and continue the next day. (This is not the case when press OK on the lock screen)

It is originally wrong, can anyone help?

I know right I understand your question. If I understand correctly, you have trouble to set an alarm, repetitive - right? Where is it you press OK? Have you checked to see if you have enabled snooze. How do you turn off the alarm when it fires?

  • iOS 9.3.2 stops iPhone when my alarm is set to wake up

Instead of my alarm in the morning, my phone turns off. How can I fix?

It is best to do a software restore after certain things do not resolve it.

    • Step 1: Have you recently make updates and the problem occurred since?
    • Step 2: Have you recently downloaded any new application? If so, remove them.
    • Step 3: Reboot your device.
    • Step 4: Reset the device (home and power until the Apple logo button, then release both).
    • Step 5: Make an iTunes backup and restore of the iTunes software again WITHOUT a backup.
      • Step 5: If the problem persists without putting a backup back it's a hardware problem.
      • Step 5b: If the problem has disappeared, it's somewhere in the software. You can choose manually introduce again the backup or use the iCloud features to retrieve the most important data such as iCloud Photo, Contacts, calendars, Mail, etc..

  • Alarms have no sound on my iPad Pro for iOS 9.3

I use a little timers to remind me when I do the tea. Since 9.3, however, they are not a noise, Siri, with reminders app or the clock app.

The system volume is enough all the way, and my iPad Pro is powered.

I can open clock, set a timer for 2 min the sound up and 'Presto' under the timer. It counts down, but when it's done, there is no noise or the notification if the application is in the foreground or stayed at another same app that happens if I set an alarm.

In settings, I checked do not disturb is turned off. I also checked the status bar at the bottom of the screen, and the Moon do not disturb is not on.

I checked the parameters of Notifications, and badges, sounds and alerts are enabled for reminders. There is no notification of the application of the clock setting.

In sound settings, I checked the ringer and alerts sound slider is turned upward. I have sounds attached to each of the options sounds. Sounds of lock and click on keyboard are turned on, and they work.

I tried to turn off my iPad Pro, wait a few minutes, then turning back, but still no sound from the alarm.

See if your "do not disturb" setting is enabled. If you see a moon in your upper right corner, it's on. Turn it off through your bar of tasks or in the settings in the main menu on the left.
