  If I open an Excel file in Excel 2007, all is well. However if I try to open the same file by double clicking it from the Explorer or Office Excel reports an error that the file cannot be found. The same problem does not occur with a different username on the same installation on Vista.

  See if this helps:

  1. Start Microsoft Excel.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the general tab, clear (uncheck) ""ignore other applications ' and then click OK. "
  4. Quit Excel.

  I have a problem when I open Microsoft Excel or an excel file, I get a screen with the following message:

  I don't have a CD for my PC came pre-installed with Windows XP.

  OMG... I had EXACTLY the same problem for months. It's so frustrating, but I found a way of fixing and it actually worked. Trust me.

  Basically, go to the Start button and click Run.
  then type in excel /unregserver
  Click ok
  a screen will come up with something on safe mode
  Click ok
  go to start, then run again
  type in excel/regserver
  Click ok
  (don't forget to put a space between the word excel and /)
  I actually tried to fix a few minutes ago, and now I'm happy! haha

  It may be in a format that Word can not handle. They are files DOC, DOCX, XLS or or something else?

  There is an update available for the words to open the DOCX files.

  Or you may need the free viewer for Word or Excel Viewer.

  Problem opening of files from the two account email, secondary remembered as HDD and USB memory-based external excel. Message warning "there was a problem sending the command to the program".  I use Windows 7, version studend of microsoft office 2007.  This problem does not exist when I use the same USB on the desktop (XP)

  You should not actuall open/edit an attachment or a file on a USB drive, the file must be saved to a document on the PC first and opened/edited location.

• Pupulating of the date field to the top of the opening of the document

  Have a 6 page doc.  some pages contain date, but with different field names field.  On the first page I want to check if the date is null then fill it with the current date, and then copy the date populated to other pages... If the document has been record and reopened the latter I want the first populated date to be kept because it was populated for the first time.

  First date field 'TodaysDate' is open for date fields to update on other pages are read-only.

  Date field named first page: TodaysDate.

  Assuming that the TodaysDate field exists, you encounter a timing problem.

  At the time, that the function is executed, the fields have not yet established. This is quite common with MultiPage forms.

  Therefore, you can define the function in a script at the level of the document, but you'll call in the event PageOpen of the page on which the document opens. You can protect it, so that it runs only once.

  On the function, I have my doubts that it works, because test you if the value of the field is. It is always the case. Instead of test if the value of the field is equal to the field's defaultValue. The function would then look like this:

  function populateDate()

  {

  If (this.getField("TodaysDate").value is {this.getField("TodaysDate").defaultValue})

  this.getField("TodaysDate").value = util.printd ("dd/mm/yyyy", new Date();)

  }

  }

  As stated, it is not even necessary to set the function, simply run the code in the event pageOpen.

  Start the OS X App Store, then click on the item toolbar updates. V5.6.1 pages should be available, and this will open documents Pages ' 09, ' 08 and ' 06. In messages to this community, you should always share what version specific pages and OS X that you are currently using.

• Window to open the Illustrator document resize problem

  I'm having a problem with whenever I go to file/open or file/new model, the open window to select the file you want to open always resizes in a small window (as seen in photo), cut the rest of the information and documents, I drag the corner to enlarge resize so that all the information is visible , but the next time I open a new document, it shrinks down. It is very annoying especially when I'm busy and the opening of several documents. I searched on google looking for similar problems and everything I find solutions on the change of the overall size of the application window. I also searched all of the preference settings and there seems to be an any setting that I can find. I know that in previous versions of Illustrator when this happened, I drag the corner to enlarge the window and Illustrator would remember the size. Have they changed something, and I'm the only one who is upset? HA I highly doubt.

  You should review the new Document profile, you use the most. It is just a file AI that you can modify as you wish and save for future use.

  This is called a fusion and mailing. There is a possibility of Embedment in some versions of Excel (via the Acrobat PDFMaker plugin), or it can be done using a script.

  Bubble icons are the widgets corner. You can drag inward to round the corner. They are not part of your problem. If you want to hide them, select view > hide corner Widget. I have a hotkey defined for this menu item.

  If you see multiple bullseyes, you may have your set with the shape selected, that would prevent you from being able to move individual anchor points. Deselect the shape first, and then move the anchor with the direct Selection tool.
