Problem running DVD drive since last year - Windows 7

I saw problem to run a DVD disc from last year. Already when I bought the laptop it works fine (it was 2 yars ago). I searched for a solution all the time. I tried everything I could to fix it. [CD-ROM/DVD-ROM readers] section in the Device Manager, it shows that CD-ROM. After that I tried to uninstall the driver and rebooted the laptop, it turns out he changed [CD-ROM] [TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS - L633C ATA Device]. But yet when I put in a DVD, the drive will not appear on anythings.

Pleas give me a solution for this.

And I would ask if pilot [TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633C ATAP Device] could play a DVD disc.

Here is my PC details:

Device name: ASUS K40E

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Processor: AMD Athlon (TM) II Dual-Core M320 2.10 GHz

    Hi all

I managed to install Windows 7 on my Lenovo 3000 N200-0687-A11. I have a problem, my DVD drive is not detected at all (not shown in Device Manager) but I always open it and it is certainly detected in BIOS and also it can boot from the CD - the problem is that it is not detected in Windows 7.

I installed the creative cloud on my iMac. I have a subscription teacher since last year and I have the right to install my license on 2 computers (Mac book Pro and iMac). Once I decided to install the licenses of Creative cloud on my second computer (iMac), it does not work and says that it is already in use? I just installed my certificates on a computer (Mac pro boo).

    What is the problem?

    Hello

You can have the creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers as long as you don't use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe using your Adobe ID website, download the desktop app from clouds, then download the software. Sign on a computer that should not be used: log in and log out of the desktop Adobe Creative Cloud application

  • CD/DVD drive not recognized by Windows Vista

I installed a suite of burningb of CD and DVD on my Toshiba (under Vista Home Premium). My CD/DVD drive appeared more in the computer and was no longer functional. I deleted the program I installed and apparently caused the problem, but it did not help. I have read through the help of Microsoft (929461, 314060) documents and used the Fix - It utility. Also unsuccessful. I discovered the response of Martin, the technical support engineer made on May 5, 2009. I followed his instructions with great success. However, my question now is this: I have still some remains of the problem left over. I get an error message at startup saying, 'InstaBurn UDF driver is not installed correctly. Run the InstaBurn installation program. ' InstaBurn is part of the suite of the copy (hotpics by Nova Development Corp.).  I also have an error message of my reader DVD Toshiba saying that the DVD player does not work - although it is. I played a DVD as a test on it after that I followed the instructions above. How can I remove these error messages annoying that aren't accurate?  Would appreciate any information about this minor - but annoying problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  • DVD drive not seen by Windows 8

I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 537 originally. The installed and functional DVD drive is a TSST DVD +-RW TS-H653G ATA drive.

I have recently installed WIndows 8 in dual boot. When I boot with Windows 8, the DVD drive is not seen. When I go to the Device Manager and I look at the properties of the DVD player, I have the following message appears in the device status area (here I give a translation of the message in french)

This device is not actually connected to the computer (Code = 45).

To correct this problem, reconnect the device to the computer.

The fact is that the DVD still works fine when starting with Windows 7.

Do I need a new driver or a new device or what else?

  • Satellite P205D-S7802: disk problem CD/DVD; driver damaged or missing

    Hello

DVD unit has not recognized by the operating system.
When I open my computer the only display unit is C, there is no unit D.

Then I go to the Device Manager to check it out, and I noticed that the DVD unit has problems, then I open the properties, and the error message is:
'HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GSAT20N ATA DEVICE.
Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing.

First I thought it was a hardware problem, but I introduced the disc of windows vista at startup and the unit read it very well. Then I choose driver update of Device Manager and update told me that the best driver is already installed for the device.

I tried to replace the files .sys and .info for CD-ROMs, but nothing is happening.
What is happening, please help, is urgent I need to use my dvd device.

    Kind regards.

  • DVD drive not visible in Windows 7 after upgrade

I'm having a problem with my "model of dvd burner super multi: GSA-T40N.» Was known to work on laptop with Vista installed. After reinstalling Vista on the new hard drive and set to upgrade to Windows 7 Enterprise cd player does not work.

    That's what I know
The device is detected in the bios and I can boot from it
The device is not viewable in the computer once windows starts
I searched on several forums that link to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Hardware-and-Devices-troubleshooter
-This has not solved the problem.

Searched the registry and there no low filters, when I delete the upper filters, and then raise the same problem occurs. Restocking the upper filters but the there is no lower filter.

Have tried to update the driver but Windows tell me that I am using the best driver.

Has been showing in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark with error code 10 - the unit may not start. After removing the drive to find the manufacturer it now does not appear in Device Manager but have power to the player.

Help! It is a older laptop and have just replaced the hard drive, don't want really to replace the dvd drive.

    Thank you.

First, find and install the motherboard chipset and other system for your notebook device drivers. The installation of Windows and Windows Update disc are unlikely to have the best drivers for your laptop and can not have everything for all or part of your devices.

Check your laptop specifications and make sure that you install Windows 7 drivers.

The manufacturer of the laptop could have first Windows 7 drivers. There are probably later and better drivers available.
