  I had a go at some of the solutions I've seen for this problem but have had no luck yet, I wonder if Miss me something?

  So, I can receive emails without problem (in Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail), but don't have had no success sending (although I can always send mails when I access my account online).

  The fixes I've tried so far are:

  -through my account settings and to ensure that they are as indicated by my email provider (I have an ntlworld account). IE POP3 and SMTP settings must be correct.

  -then I tried to check the box "my server requires authentication" (did not work)
  - then I tried completely disabling my firewall/anti-anti-virus/e-mail protection (ZoneAlarm) who also worked
  - then I tried to install an update of sorts for Windows Mail (not Live Mail) (found on a Board communities, sorry can't remember which, but it was an official update from microsoft)... and it does not work
  -Finally, I tried to install Windows Live Mail... and Yes you guessed it, that does not work either (I also checked the settings etc.)

  ....... I wonder why things have to be so difficult?

  Can someone please tell me where I'm wrong!

  To solve the problem of sending (at home) once for all, you need to replace the Server SMTP from Orange to smtp.ntlworld.com. I don't know, what if Orange will allow you to keep your return address of NTL, when sending to Windows Mail. It's worth a try.

• Send PDF that email but don't want users to be able to get in shape?

  I created a form on our file server when users open the form, fill out and submit via e-mail on the form button. The form is then sent to a specific mailbox.

  We used to allow users to record in the form and it worked well. The problem is users are saving on the original form so when the next person opens the form isn't empty.

  Is there a way to always send the PDF by e-mail but not allow users to save more than the original form? I tried commissioned the form which does not allow users to save data in the form, but now it will not email when they click the submit button.

  Please help if you can.

  No, you can't. You can advise them to put the file read-only, in which case they BONES do not allow him to be crushed. You can also add a button to reset the form so that they have a simple way to clear the form.

  I have two iPads in using the same e-mail.  I can receive emails on both, but I can't send on one or the other. (I used to be able to send one but not the other).  My iPhone uses the same email and I can send and receive a voucher.

  Have you tried to delete the email on your iPad, then adding the account again once? That solved many problems that I had with e-mail.

• Problems with Javascript on Mac, but not PC

  I run into some strange problems with a script in which Mac another user stops on a line nothing stores more than one State of history to the variable "actHist" while PC to run the script very well.  We will test the script one Mac to another later today, but I was wondering if there are any known issues with running scripts in Java on Mac vs PC database?  Here is a screenshot of the problem:

  

  I can't understand WHY it stops on this area.  I tried of asigning the variable outside of the cause of the else statement that I was out of ideas, but it's the same no matter where I declare it.  The odd part is, that the same line is used elsewhere in the script without problems, it doesn't seem to work in the same place on a Mac (PC has no problems with it).  No idea why this is only a problem for the Mac and not any PC?

  Tom's right. It is a known problem and Adobe has been alerted to this topic. This error can also occur when you try to access the activeLayer of a document.

  I used this code for embarrassing lines like this and it worked for me:

• Just set up. Can send messages ok - but don't receive any - controlled settings and ok

  Just configure Thunderbird for the first time. Can send emails fine. Cannot receive emails. Confirmed with f2s/TalkTalk settings and they are correct.

  Where now?

  None of the settings I saw on their website related to the connection security. I would set the POP server to 110 port and password encryption "None."

  The password encryption setting is at first glance a logical and sensible option, but in my experience, this particular configuration option is not common. My lineone account is the only one I've ever had who used it.

  You must be able to communicate with an SMTP server of your Oracle Server (using well-known port 25 in general).

  You can test the connectivity of your Oracle server using telnet. See if the following command generates a connection (type QUIT to exit the SMTP server session) for example on the Oracle server:

  The 2nd important point is that the SMTP server must be prepared to accept messages from your Oracle server. Relay is very rarely supported.
