Ask you the question to the Windows Live Hotmail Solution Center.
Maybe you receive notice of Hotmail that you neglected to disclose? that is, they block your account to send?
In any case, ask them.

  • Problems with Hotmail in Windows Live Mail Junk folder

    I came across a new problem three days ago. I noticed that any mail sent to my Hotmail Junk folder was endangered almost the moment where that happened. It was not deleted, it was simply disappearing one second after he arrived (I can watch it happen then disappear). I am able to access these emails with webmail, so I know that they are not being deleted. The same thing happens not with my gmail accounts with Hotmail.

    My storage is nowhere close to full, and I have not changed the settings either in the month, Windows Live Mail or via webmail. Neither I ran Windows Update recently.

    Until this started, I was getting at least a dozen e-mails a day (from different mailing lists that I prefer to keep in the junk e-mail folder).

    Any ideas? Thank you.

  • Problem sending Mails with attachment binary BlackBerry 4.5

    Hallo,

    my code well testet, sending binary content as an attachment no longer works on 4.5.0:

    ------------------------

    settings specified in the signature of mtehod
    String url = "blackberry20@test";
    Byte [] requestdata / /... of the binary data (really!)

    create new message
    final Message message = New Message();

    define the recipient (as it appears in the url)
    message.addRecipients (Message.RecipientType.TO,
    new address [] {new address (url, url)});

    String msgID = (DeviceInfo.getDeviceId () + "_" + System.currentTimeMillis ()) .toUpperCase ();
    message.setSubject (msgID);

    create the body... empty text
    Several multipart part = new Multipart();
    TextBodyPart txtBody = new TextBodyPart (multipart);
    txtBody.setContent("");
    multipart.addBodyPart (txtBody);

    create attachments and add
    AttachmentPart SupportedAttachmentPart = new SupportedAttachmentPart (multipart);
    attachmentPart.setContentType("application/octet-stream");
    attachmentPart.setFilename (msgID);
    attachmentPart.setContent (requestData);

    multipart.addBodyPart (attachmentPart);
    message.setContent (multipart);

    Send mail in own thread
    Thread thread = new Thread ('Send Mail Thread') {}

    public void run() {}
    try {}
    Transport.Send (message);
    } catch (Throwable e) {}
    System.Err.println ("error sending message" + e.getClass () .getName () + "/" + e.getMessage ());
    }
    }
    };
    thread. Start();

    ------------------------

    This code has been compiled with JDE 4.0 and worked fine on 4.0, 4.1, 4.2

    It works on my 4.5.0.55 _not_ shrimp (BES 4.1.4) and on a "BOLD" customer (4.6.0.X/BES > = 4.1.4)

    It seems to be an attachment API on 4.5.0, of the major changes that are not compatible with older versions.

    -Are there workarounds?
    -Are there examples how to do work on > = 4.5?
    -How to be always compatible backword for 4.0, 4.1, 4.2?
    -What impact have the BES/BIS-platform on these issues?
    -Are there serious documentation out there how to set the ContentType, Filename, etc.?

    Would be great if some have had a (customers get angry response

    Thanx, Jens Kinzel

    Hello Mark,

    I tried the example excatly you mentioned: If the content was about 60Bytes.

    The following code does NOT work on > = 4.5:
    ---------------------
    public static sendHTMLMailRIMExample (String address) Sub throws {MessagingException}

    create a multipart
    Multipart MP = new Multipart();

    data for the content of the file
    FileData = string"just a simple test";
    String messageData = "Mail attachment Demo";

    create the file
    SAP SupportedAttachmentPart = new SupportedAttachmentPart (mp, "text/html", "upploadare", fileData.getBytes ());

    The PTB TextBodyPart = new TextBodyPart (mp, messageData);

    Add the file to the multipart
    mp.addBodyPart (BSC);
    mp.addBodyPart (sap);

    create a message in the sent items folder
    Folder folders [] is Session.getDefaultInstance () .getStore () .list (Folder.SENT);.

    Message message = new Message(folders[0]);

    Add recipients to the message and send it

    Address = new address (address, address);
    [ToAdds] address = new address [1];
    toAdds [0] = n;
    message.addRecipients (Message.RecipientType.TO, toAdds);
    message.setContent (mp);

    Transport.Send (message);
    }
    --------------------

    I found that the problem is a combination of Firmware and BES. Here are the relevant areas of the BES-Logfile:

    -------------------------

    After fiddling around with the structure of the MIME multipart-message Types, I found a solution that works for me:

    -------------------------
    ' Private Sub sendRequest (String url, byte [] requestData) get {MessagingException}

    create new message
    final Message message = New Message();

    define the recipient (as it appears in the url)
    message.addRecipients (Message.RecipientType.TO,
    new address [] {new address (url, url)});

    create topic: device over the current timestamp
    String msgID = ("DATA"_System.currentTimeMillis ()) .toUpperCase ();
    message.setSubject (msgID);

    create the body... a text
    Several multipart part = new Multipart();
    TextBodyPart txtBody = new TextBodyPart (multipart);
    txtBody.setContent (msgID);
    multipart.addBodyPart (txtBody);

    create attachments and add
    AttachmentPart SupportedAttachmentPart = new SupportedAttachmentPart (multipart);
    attachmentPart.setContentType("text/xml");

    attachmentPart.setContent (requestData);
    attachmentPart.setFilename (msgID + ".xml");
    multipart.addBodyPart (attachmentPart);
    message.setContent (multipart);

    Transport.Send (message);
    }
    ------------------------

    Let me say thank you for your ideas a Council. From my side, the problem is closed so far-
    even though im not sure if it will work for all environments.

    I'm not shure where the initial problem was (Firmware / BES - combination?) or something else.

    Thank you

  • Problems sending mail in Windows Live Mail (and Windows Mail)

    De :  MarkJ

    Hello

    I had a go at some of the solutions I've seen for this problem but have had no luck yet, I wonder if Miss me something?

    So, I can receive emails without problem (in Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail), but don't have had no success sending (although I can always send mails when I access my account online).

    The fixes I've tried so far are:

    -through my account settings and to ensure that they are as indicated by my email provider (I have an ntlworld account). IE POP3 and SMTP settings must be correct.

    -then I tried to check the box "my server requires authentication" (did not work)
    - then I tried completely disabling my firewall/anti-anti-virus/e-mail protection (ZoneAlarm) who also worked
    - then I tried to install an update of sorts for Windows Mail (not Live Mail) (found on a Board communities, sorry can't remember which, but it was an official update from microsoft)... and it does not work
    -Finally, I tried to install Windows Live Mail... and Yes you guessed it, that does not work either (I also checked the settings etc.)

    ....... I wonder why things have to be so difficult?

    Can someone please tell me where I'm wrong!

    This is the error message I get:

    The connection to the server has failed.

    Subject 'Test '.
    Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com '.
    Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E

    To solve the problem of sending (at home) once for all, you need to replace the Server SMTP from Orange to smtp.ntlworld.com. I don't know, what if Orange will allow you to keep your return address of NTL, when sending to Windows Mail. It's worth a try.

    My yahoo account was working fine for send and receive.  Then I had problems sending.  He would ask for a password.

    I have reset my password to check that there are no inaccuracies.  No help.

    I deleted the account and now I have some questions add it again.  Says: cannot verify the password and account name.

    I'm out of ideas.  It's for my macbook air.

    My iPhone can access that account.

    Try going to system preferences/Internet accounts. and change the password. If this does not work, try to delete the account.

    If so, you cannot use DeltaSync for access to this account. You can find instructions to set up the account using the IMAP protocol on this page: Windows Live Mail and Outlook e-mail

    If you connect Windows Live Mail with this account, you will find that the calendar or contacts don't will sync any more.

    You must be able to communicate with an SMTP server of your Oracle Server (using well-known port 25 in general).

    You can test the connectivity of your Oracle server using telnet. See if the following command generates a connection (type QUIT to exit the SMTP server session) for example on the Oracle server:

    Telnet mailserver 25

    The 2nd important point is that the SMTP server must be prepared to accept messages from your Oracle server. Relay is very rarely supported.

    sometimes [not always] if I put contacts in Bcc: or Cc: and not in to: I get the following message

    This error message only comes up when I do that in Outlook Express.

    Ok. I think WYSIWYG and you'll need to add your address when you use WLMail. Unless one of the experts in The Forum Windows Live Mail has another idea.

    Thanks for joining us out on the Microsoft Community forums.

    According to the description, you are experiencing problems sending mails with attachments. Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

    1. are you using Windows Live Mail to send and receive messages or are you referring to the mail application?

    2. do you get an error message?

    3. are you aware of changes to the computer before the show?

    If you are Windows Mail app, you can consult this article and also run the app troubleshooting utility that is provided in the notes.

  • Problems using Mac Mail with Hotmail address

    I had ZERO problems with Mail and my Hotmail e-mail address for years until Sunday evening. I thought that maybe the Hotmail servers are down and cannot send e-mail that he requested my password, but it says that it was not correct. (but it was) Today I open mail and get the same message and my iPhone was not able to receive mail. After deleting and adding the Hotmail account on my iPhone, it works and receiving mail. On my Mac, it's another story. I removed it without any problems, but when I went back to add an account, it says the account already exists. My Hotmail account is not listed in my internet accounts and not showing is not on my mail. I tried setting up with a fake account and manually enter server information and it STILL says that the account already exists. Is it possible for me to again access my Hotmail on my Mac mail? Thank you!

    After digging around some more to the forums I found my resolution. I had to remove my iCloud account (which uses my hotmail email address) then add my Hotmail email, then add my iCloud account again.

    When you try to use a Windows Live e-mail account or a different Web-based e-mail account in Windows Mail, you cannot send e-mail messages?

    Windows Mail supports more HTTP servers that are used by Hotmail and other e-mail providers such as AOL mail, Google mail, Yahoo! mail Web.

    To resolve your problem, use Windows Live Mail instead of Windows Mail.

    Windows Live Mail works with popular Web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail, AOL mail, Google mail, and Yahoo! mail. Windows Live Mail is designed to configure automatically many popular e-mail services.

    Windows Mail also supports the types of Server Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) and Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).

    Download of an update "Windows Live Mail" should solve your problem.

  • Unable to send mail via exchange server with Version 38.0.1 - password problems

    Last week, when my computer desktop auto-upgraded to 38.0.1, he lost the ability to send mail with SMTP. (It always returns an error message saying that the password is not recognized). I went around and with the administration of the server, and they are sure that the problem is on my end. All server settings are correct, according to the administration of the server and, in any case, I do not change them what has worked with earlier versions of this morning, I finally had to restart Thunderbird on my home computer. I tested the Version 31 immediately before restart - it worked. Then I tried the Version 38.0.1 immediately after the restart, - it did not work.

    I have disabled the firewall on the computer, but it made no difference. Both computers running all Windows 64-bit both 8.1; they have two different firewalls.

    I pasted in the troubleshooting information in Thunderbird below.

    Thank you
