Problem the A300 1EG satellite - horrible latency firewire external sound card

Hello

I wanted to put my Toshiba laptop for music recording through Alesis Multimix Firewire, which is an external firewire sound card.
All the drivers are up to date and supported by Vista, I have on my computer.
Always when using Cubase, I get horrible latency and its impossible to work with.

So this way, I wanted to ask you, what firewire chipset is used in the A300 1EG specifications?
Could there be a problem with asio drivers or is it inconsistent?

Thank you

Hello

I think that it s a common firewire port (4-pin) and chip firewire supports the standard IEEE-1394 commune.

In your case I recommend that you check the information and details posted by the sound card manufacturer.

Maybe guys something more known on own products and the problems that might appear to use it.

Hi, I use an an external sound card audio Hifi via USB, but it gets serious on my E5410 appears whenever storing drive led flashes blue (i.e., the small cylinder blue next to the wifi and battery indicators). The sound card works fine on other computers. I tried various usb slots, and they all have the same effect. The light flashes every 1 or 2 seconds, no matter what I do. I understand that it flashes when there is a read/write on the hard drive. My question: is there a way to diasble temporarily LED? Or is it simply a red herring. Its really too bad. • Satellite P100-195 - loud beep sound card problem

    Hi guys.

I bought a Toshiba Satellite P100-195, about two weeks ago and since I had a problem with my sound card I do not seem to be able to overcome. Whenever I have to increase/decrease the volume (or audio icon in the system tray or the control panel) I get a loud beep after I let go of the mouse button.

The sound seems to work fine, but the tone is getting stronger every time I increase the volume and is really annoying. I also noticed that whenever I got an audio/video conversion Canopus Procoder 2 I get the same tone, even if the converted files are well and plays well. My Satellite P100-195 was a Portuguese Windows Professional MCE.

The beep will be like a BIOS we and not a BONE.
I already reinstalled the audio driver.
Can someone help me with this?

    Jose Felix

    Hello

Is - this loud beep appear on a fresh install that BONES form the Toshiba Recovery CD?

The second possibility is that your operating system has put this loud beep as a program event.
Go to sound and audio devices and select the Audio tab.

Here, you can see all your sounds that are set on the different program events.

  • How to get the stereo mix on the Satellite P500 with Conexant - SOLUTION sound card

    Hello people...
I'll write here what it takes to run the 'stereo mix' on a laptop computer equipped with a sound card Conexant.
I ran this feature on my laptop Satelilite P500
to run this function, you need drivers nr. 4.111.0.62
These drivers can be downloaded from the Lenovo Web site,
These are the drivers of Lenovo G555 model IN2AUD25WW5.exe
    http://consumersupport.Lenovo.com/UK/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_list.aspx?CategoryID=150169
Unzip the IN2AUD25WW5.exe file using winrar or 7zip
next step is to find in the file "W7-64" or "W7 - 32""NELCC2wa.inf" ".
Open the file "NELCC2wa.inf" in the "notebook" and add the ENTRY under Conexant.NTamd64.6.0]---> > vista
    or Conexant.NTamd64.6.1]---> > 7

    ENTRY
    %HdAudioFunctionDriver.Pebble5071.DeviceDesc% = HdAudModelNELA0V, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_14F1 & DEV_5067 & SUBSYS_1179FFD4

This entry its hardware id. Can be found in Device Manager
After the entry, save and close the file "NELCC2wa.inf".
next step is to update the driver in Device Manager
in the Device Manager find the entry 'Conexant '.
Right click and select "update driver".
then you select "installation of a list or a specific location" or let me choose from a floppy disk

and point to the location where you saved the unzipped and outdated file 'NELCC2wa.inf '.
After this start of the computer, update the driver
If all goes well, after installation, you should find the 'stereo mix' in the sounds of parameters
    Take advantage of...
PS. It also works with XP 32 and 64-bit using driver 3.97.0.0 Lenovo

    Hi mate

Thanks a lot for this short statement.

One of my friends had the same problem on because the stereo mix was not available on the sound chip Contexant.
Perhaps this info could be useful

    Once again; Well done!

  • FireWire PCI (used strictly for external sound card): should I deactivate Windows...

I have a PCI of SIIG Firewire 1394 (Port 3) adapter installed in my system. I use "strictly" for my card external sound Presonus Firebox. The computer in question; the main function is a Studio of Production Audio. I had chronic problems with MIDI and other issues.

    My questions are:

    (1) in the Network Connections/1394 Connection/Properties/General tab:
I have to uncheck the Client for Microsoft Networks, file sharing and printers for Microsoft Networks and
    Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) dialog boxes?

    (2) in the Windows Firewall/Advance tab:
Should I uncheck the 1394 dialog box?

    My goal:

I hope for a maximum operational efficiency for my sound card for the application it is used for.

I do not think that network settings 1394 you ask on have something to do with its connected to the 1394 PCI adapter card.

To find out for sure, change the settings and see if it helps.  You can always change their return.

  • Satellite A300-1EG multimedia keys don't work in Win XP

    Help me!

    Lighting does not work.
Where can I configure the multimedia keyboard drivers?

Maybe the necessary computer special drivers for WinXP?

    Hello

If I m not mistaken the A300-1EG belongs to the series of PSAG4E.
    Is this good?

The Toshiba page provides all the XP drivers but the controls are missing

Toshiba controls is a tool that is needed to get the Toshiba control buttons work.

In your case, I recommend checking and then reinstalling the controls of the other Satellite A300 series.

    Hello

Please don't be crazy about me but what I do not understand what your problem with Toshiba?
If you use external third party product, please contact the support of manufacturers and clarify this issue.

I mean, you'll be really lucky if anyone here uses the same wheels. Before you wait here contact manufacturer. They have the best experience with own products.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite L755-16J - problem with sound card

I currently own a Toshiba * Satellite L755-16J * and is having some kind of trouble with the sound card, I think.

When I bought it, it came with windows 7, I changed the Windows of windows 8 and since then the audio has been trouble me.

The internal speakers work for a minute or two, when I play an audio file, but then stop working.
I had been using a usb external sound card and external speakers for some time but decided to the switchback to windows 7 for the sound working again. even if I went to win 7, the sound still doesn't work.

I am sure that the problem is not in the internal speakers because they do not work, even if it's just for a brief moment, but they work, so I think the problem is in the software instead of hardware.

I tried to update the audio drivers but they seem to be updated as windows, pilots 'seem to work properly.

    Can anyone help?

    > even if I spent back for win 7, the sound still doesn't work.

    How did you do that?
Have you used the Toshiba Recovery disk in order to install Win 7 or have you installed Windows 7 using the Windows 7 clean and fresh hot?

The laptop supports the Conexant audio chip. The audio driver is available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver and where the sound chip is already recognized in Device Manager after installing the audio driver, I assume that the driver has been installed correctly.

In this case I recommend you plug in a headset.
In case the headset should work fine, the speakers could be affected. I mean the material. But of course it s just an idea.

Next to the audit of the helmet, you can also check the settings in the Panel of-> sound-> the Read tab.
Usually, the speakers should be set as default device.
    Check this option too.

  • Satellite L300D - no Manager Realtek Sound in Vista?

One of the tasks that I use my laptop records the music.

My friend also has another laptop with the running XP Realtek audio driver. When right click on a speaker icon list drop down pulls up with the Realtek Sound Manager option. With this Manager, it is possible to assign a microphone or a line-in to the entrance. Also you can mix several devices to enter the desired volume, combining the computer sounds (midi or wav) with the sounds of the line-in Jack.

In my laptop L300D runs on Vista, this is not the case, although I have installed the latest driver Realtek (version 6.0.1.5898 20/07/2009).
Can someone help me with this? How to set the Realtek settings to view and use the sound Manager?
Or is the only option to get an external sound card? Or do I have to install Windows XP instead?

    Thanks in advance.

  • 1394 Firewire sound card is unable to be detected under Vista SP2

    Hello

I have an external sound card that connects to my laptop via Firewire 1394.  This device is not detected at all Windows Vista SP2.  When I plug the unit in and the power it upward, with external power supply because it's a 4 pin Cable, Windows does not show the device in the Device Manager.

The 1394 controller is displayed in Device Manager correctly.

I should add that I tested this sound card with my work laptop and it was found immediately under Windows XP.  Therefore, the cable and the sound card work.

I tried the following without result:

    • Uninstalling the 1394 controller and let Windows find.
    • Definition of the registry key for the controller: EnumerateInactiveLink

    None of them worked.
