• Problems with the pop-up menus of blu - ray

  I made the mistake of pointing this issue/problem on another similar post so here is still for some:

  I got this error message at the end of the generation of disc:
  
  Blu - ray error: "fatal error". Code: "6", notes: "the Graphics buffer overruns. & #8232; -not multiplex with maximum IG PTS: 54900000 (in 90kHz).
  
  I'm working on blu - ray is a live concert of 87 min with about 8 other much shorter deadlines.  The main menu has 6 buttons with a background of movement.  There are a few sub-menus as well, but the problem came when I started to make the context menus for the different timelines.
  
  It is the first project where I had to really explore the possibliltes and limitations of context menus again.  I burned a disc to test with just a pop-up menu base to see what the opacity of the menu would look over the final video.  All video assets were installed to transcode "automatically".  All the audio supports are blu - ray compatible ac3 Surround or stereo WAV 16 bit so could be left as "not transcode.  This disc perfectly.
  
  I then went through the process involved enough to make a final version of the main menus pop up.  Context menu of the main concert is 5 pages (including page 0).  There are specific menus of other timelines, but those who have no more than 2 pages.  None of the menus have more than 10 keys.
  
  I tried to burn the disc, and he returned with the above error.  After reading other posts, I thought that it was worth trying to remove the AuthorScriptHDMVSessions file before you start a new burn because it was already filled with files from my test burn.  That did not help.

  After countless tests and research, I finally have a blu - ray burned successfully with several contextual menus pages (that satisfies me) work.  Thanks to all who gave the theoretical orientation and suggestions in emails and other messages.  There had been no shortage of quirks and obstacles to overcome in trying just to make a blu - ray player.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time to identify precisely what was causing the error message.  The project just has to be.

  Main popup menu has 4 pages, with 13 buttons on each page.  Only about 5-9 on the "buttons" on each page are buttons that have a link anywhere.  The other buttons on each page only serve the remaining substantive pieces of the menu and are not accessible on the final drive.  Totally ridiculous how to make backgrounds for menus, but it works.

  Among other things I've learned about the menus pop - up + more misc:

  1. If possible, quite create a menu .psd before you import it into a project yet.  Create the button order in the .psd you want that he will eventually be the end (the bottom layer is 1 key).  If you edit and resave order once it has been brought, yet almost always return it to some strange order of buttons (possibly original).  You will spend all your time to re-routing of navigation button and change their numbers, only to discover later that even changed any return without notice.

  2. as many people of State, preferred to have still to make a reflection as little as possible  All my button groups initially had text layers in their breast with some fx applied.  I have merged each text layer down in the bottom layer of this button to essentially rasterize the text with the fx applied.  Each (+) group button so only was a Higlight and a background layer.  After doing this for all the buttons, the .psd file size is greatly reduced.  Naturally, I've saved a copy before you go through the process of merger where I never had to go back and change the text.

  3. originally, the background for the menus were made to cut out a rectangle of the background of the main menu.  It was the width of the frame and about 1/5 of the height.  I had changed the opacity to around 60% and cut the pieces to go with their respective button.  For the final disc, I just did a shape with the rounded and filled with solid color Rectangle tool.  It's likely that about half the size of the pop-up menu original background.  I changed its opacity as well, but then he merges with a layer of white so still didn't have to think about the opacity setting.

  4. I encoded all the video elements BEFORE they were brought into the project.  There are some problems with how the sizes of the files are interpreted by yet, but I will not trust him to encode anything again.

  5. for some reason any still wants to transcode 16 bits, .aiff files .wav files, 48.0 kHz by a blu - ray, but 16-bit 48.0 kHz do NOT need Trancoder (for DVD and blu - ray).

  Thank you for writing to Microsoft answers Community Forums.

  This can happen if there is a problem with some settings or folder permissions in the Blu - Ray player that could do this. It could also be the security program blocking the part.

  A few things you can try creates a separate on the desktop folder, rather than to use the documents shared and then try to access it from the drive.

  You can also try to disable your firewall program and security and then try to access to the shared folder.

  Try to disable the user account control and check.

  You may also be able to solve the problem by taking possession of the record.

  To take ownership of a folder

  1 right click on the folder you want to take control and then click Properties.

  2. click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.

  3. click on modify.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  4. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

  5. If you want this person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the void containers and objects check box Replace owner.

  6. click on OK.

• Tecra A11 - 17N - reading Blu - ray?

  Running a Tecra A11 - 17N with Windows 7 and an eSATA (or USB) plugged the external Blu - ray writer. The supplied software (Cyberlink) for Blu - ray playback has an "Advisor", which reported on the ability of the various functions of reading Blu - ray discs (BDs). If you need to get the drivers (and you need to do at least for blu - ray device even if you installed from the disc supplied with the deivice - ago maybe more recent updates available for this device and your version of Vista and all the others you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem) leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   It is not a Vista problem from your description.  It looks like a driver problem devixe, some missing software or firmware that is necessary to make the camera to recognize blu ray discs, or a problem with the devicce himself.  You have another computer, you can connect to see if you can get it to work on this computer (or you can connect directly to your TV if it is an option).  If Yes, we know devixe works and it is something on the laptop that is at the origin of the problem.  Have you confirmed that this device is compatible with your version of Vista in the http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/default.aspxVista Compatibility Center?

  Another problem can be the software you use to play the movie - it cannot recognize or be able or read blu ray discs (or it can be so slow that you give before there actually loading times as I read that some may take a matter of several minutes before start).  What software you are using (name and version)?

  Have you tried to contact the Helpdesk of brush head to see if they can help?  Because it's brand new, they should be happy to help you set up and work with you to resolve the problem with it being unable to recognize blu ray discs.  They met perhaps this situaton several times and have a solution easy availalble.  If the above does not work I give them a call and help you get them.  Again, I know not what provider, you must contact (but it it came with the machine, I think you deal with HP and what I read there is no solution available yet but things may have changed since that was sent)- but try both of them (one is bound to be willing and able to help you).

• My blu - ray burner no longer works

  This is going to be a long post, forgive me.

  For some unknown reason, I can no longer burn on blu - ray discs. I never got hurt before the last two years, in which I burned dozens of discs all this without a single problem. Now, as soon as the burn progress meter gets to 20 percent (less than 5 minutes), the disc will eject and I get the following error message:
  "cannot format the disk (EB191784).

  My burning software is "CyberLink Media Suite 11 Ultra", for which I'm used in its use. The program I use to burn the disc is «PowerProducer v6» The type of disc that I use is the 25 GB Verbatim BD - R, which is what I've always used.

  Here are the steps I took to solve this problem:

  (1) I downloaded and installed the new firmware for my blu - ray player. This is the "BWU-500s 2.63" version on the Sony site.

  (2) completely uninstalled all the Cyberlink software, then reinstalled everything. Then I went through each of its programs and made sure they were up-to-date and that they do not need a patch to update.

  (3) after reading various help forums, I discovered that my C: / drive requires plenty of space on it in order to burn a blu - ray disc, so I made sure that there is at least 130 GB. They also said the same thing for the reader where the input file is coming, which is be my E: / drive - and it has 320 GB.

  (4) I have tried 4 different discs, nothing helps and I've never had a bad front disc, so I doubt I would have 4 in a row.

  (5) I've also updated the driver on my graphics card, which is EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

  (6) I did a clean boot

  (7) I have Defraged my computer

  (8) I also tried to burn 3 movies different blu - ray, just to make sure it wasn't all caused by 1 corrupt blu - ray movie.

  Note:
  The strange thing is that my blu - ray player to burn the DVD without one problem - it just won't let me not burn blu - ray discs more.

  So, after all the foregoing, I was told I should try another burning - program just to make sure it wasn't "PowerProducer". So I tried to use ImgBurn. But I got this error message:
  "Device not ready (no reference Position found).

  So, I looked at the log file and here's what he said:

  Duplex Secure SPTD driver «...» "is what stood out to me. So I checked on this topic further and discovered that I had an older version (v1.74), so I installed the latest version (v1.86). Well, none of this fixed my burning problem. It seems just that my blu - ray discs won't boot, but I don't know why!

  On a side note, I noticed a very strange thing - but I know for a fact that this happened AFTER the beginning of my burning problem. So I know it has not caused the problem, but I think it's another symptom.

  In my device-> slot Manager ' lists of readers CD-ROM/DVD - ROM-> he one thing "CD-ROM Drive"

  But this is false, that it has ALWAYS been recognized as "BD RW BWU-500 2.63 SONY"

  I think he's changed when I was uninstalling/reinstalling all that "Cyberlink Media Suite 11 programs", but I can't get my blu - ray player name to reappear - it just keeps display the generic name of "CD-ROM Drive". Here is a screencap of what I'm talking about:

  Good, its been fixed.  It turns out that all my blu - ray burner required had to be cleaned - I ended up using a Laser Blu - ray player lens cleaning disc. Everything works fine now. I would like to thank all those who helped me to solve this problem.

• Blu Ray Menu then jumps and plays the 1 key

  IM creating a Blu Ray menu with a video loop. After the first 12 intro second, I have a loopback point together for the real part of menu. The menu is set as the first piece of theatre.

  My problem happens after I have burn the Blu Ray. The intro works very well, but when he is about to launch the loop menu it automatically plays the first button. Then the transition I installed plays and begins at the first video. If I push the button of main menu or menu from the top of the remote control, it will return to the menu and immediately replays the first button.

  This does not happen when I preview it in yet. Everything works as I want only it in preview mode.

  Problem: There is no update of the Blu - Ray Toshiba update list.

  With currently the most recent version of today, but even so, the Blue Ray cannot be read on the Toshiba Qosmio X 500.

  It is still problematic to discuss on problems that occur sporadically.
  If the device does not appear in the BIOS there must be a connection problem.

  In my opinion you can not do much, and I think that your machine needs to be checked by the service of Toshiba. Call the nearest service provider for Toshiba, explain the situation and ask for help.

  I'm having a problem where, in the attempt to read blu - ray on my Pavilion dv7, the software comes repeatedly asks me to check the updates. This problem does not occur with DVD. • LG GGW-H20L ATA use to work now, does not burn and no formatting Blue Ray discs but a DVD.

  I was burning Verbatim 25 G Blue Ray discs like crazy, as well as the monolayer regular and double layer DVD for more than two years and now it will not burn or format Blue Ray discs. It appears in my computer and it won't give me the options of the ISO image or Live to get in shape. I use both bury camera Panasonic and Adobe CS4 software.  I use only the part simple DVD sex the LG GGW - H20L ATA now. I tried several things here on the internet, but nothing works, nothing works yet. Even tried the new installation of Vista 64 and still nothing. I tried to reflash LG GGW-H20L-ATA with the same version of the software package.

  Anyone has the same problem or a solution? I need Blue Ray for my video business.

• My project won't burn on a DVD, a Blu - ray player

  I did a project for a HD 1920 x 1080 video ().

  When I try to burn it to DVD, I get error of transcoding.

  I can properly burn on Blu-area without problem.

  If I scan the blu - ray in 856 x 480 resolution video and create a new project, I can't always burn to DVD, Blu - ray only.

  Can I burn video 1920 x 1080 on a DVD?  And if so, how?

  Here's the correct solution:

  1. Uninstall the elements of the Prime Minister
  2. Reinstall the first elements
  3. First elements will now burn HD video on a DVD

  Now this could have been taken with a cooperation much more and much less finger pointing and blame.

  Asking me to try burning a project older DVDs burned successfully would have more quickly lead to a good decision.

  Rather than long-shot of issues such as:

  Your burner has the latest firmware?

  You have gaps on your video track?

  What operating system do you have? What CPU do you have?

  Why 856 x 480 is not a standard size?

  And: the option allows you to save your DVD to a folder.

  The scientific approach lead to solutions much faster than grasping at straws and blame.
