Problem with CapacityIQ plugin client access via vSphere

I have two instances of capacity IQ installed - one with each of my vCenter 4.0 servers that are configured in bound mode.

I have problems to access Solutions & Applications-> CapacityIQ GUI via the vSphere for one customer and receive an error indicating a delay of communication as follows;

Network error (tcp_error)

A communication error has occurred: "Operation timed out".

The Web server may be down, too busy or other problems preventing him from answering. You can try again at a later date.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

I confirmed the status on the administration for each device portal - services are started and connectivity between the device and vCenter is very good - so it just seems to be a problem in my vSphere client.

Any ideas?

Is there a firewall or a proxy between the machine you use the vSphere client on and CIQ VA? It seems to be a kind of network related issue.

    I have a problem with the plugin active directory that it does not show the OUs under a spesific UO (I guess that's because there are too many objects in this spesific UO and for some reason any, limit the amount of objects, it can show).

    To work around the problem I wanted to use the Active Directory script class and use the search method, but I can just find a way to create this object to use the reproductives I guess that I do not understand something in the API.

  • Problem with SG-200 and access point on VLAN

    I'm having some problems with the configuration of VLANS on the SG-200 and the WiFi access point. The access point (a TP-Link WA801N) is able to access the internet when it is plugged into a port that is on the default VLAN (1 PVID). If I plug it into one of the other VLAN then all clients connected to WiFi to lose access to the internet and can not access on the local VIRTUAL network devices. I've used this configuration with a Cisco WAP4410N of first generation.

    I'm not sure if it's something wrong with the way I configured the switch or a problem with the access point.

    The setup I have is:

    You have virtual local networks put in place on your router? The subnets that you use on each vlan? The router will give DHCP for each vlan?

    The SG200 isn't a fully managed layer 3 switch, it's just a "smart switch" so you can not actually be able to do simply only switch. A sg300 mode layer 3 would be able to do this because it is a fully managed switch.

    If the router is configured with the VLAN, vlan 1 unidentified, the rest the tag, the router-> SG200 port is trunking and the others as access ports on their vlan respective. Once the router is configured, this video contributor forum albums and Cisco employee David Hornstein is very useful to correctly configure the switch.

  • Problems with extension/plugin installation (CC Desktop and win 10)

    I have a few plug-ins / extensions and new how to install/update these via the web page of "My Add-ons" is very clumsy and troublesome.

    The main problem I have is that I have two PCs on Windows 10 and they both connected to the same series of three monitors. I switch between them using a menu on the screen and the KVM. The problem with the notification that appears on the screen asking to allow elevated privileges. Problem is that the notification remains on the screen for a few seconds and invariably I missed it poster of switching. This can also occur if you have a couple of machines in a studio that are spaced quite far as you cannot the second fast enough!

    This results in a failure to install the add-on (or update). I have not found a way to bring up the notification again. The only way I have found is to remove the plug/extension and re - install a couple of times to catch the notification on the correct PC. In a full PC running CC studio, it would be a real nightmare

    So, anyone know of a way to show the notification again?

    I know that Adobe are aware of this problem and the general add-on install issues but I don't know if they are actively working on a fix/improvement.

    I am part of a beta version of the trial of a plug-in and have seen a number of cases of people failing to have the plugin installed due to this and related issues. Automatic installation of extensions and plug-ins is a good idea, but let down by a slightly awkward application.

    The timer notification is not defined by Adobe add-ons, but instead, it is defined by Windows. We understand that the pop-up is visible for a short period and it can be difficult to catch. You can change the settings on your computer, but we can't officially inform it. When you miss the pop-up, you need to click on 'remove', wait a few seconds, then click again on 'install' from the page my modules in order to trigger the popup again. We do not have an alternative workaround for this problem.

  • Problem with the plugin Update Manager

    I'm having a problem with the update on my VC Server Manager (2.5 build 104215).  Update Manager is not downloaded updates.  In VC when I go to Plugins it shows that Updae Manager is installed and enabled.  If I remove the check mark for Enabled & then turn it back on, I get a message - "the server could not interpret the customer's request" - but the checkbox reappears.  I also have this message when I run VC on the server, but not from my PC.

    If I right click on the download VMware Update Manager update scheduled task and select Properties, I get a message - "the plugin for this task has not been saved.   All VMware services are started.  The Update Manager

    Update Manager is built 1.0.0.63972 and the VI client on the server is 104215

  • Problem with XServe and XServe RAID via Fibre Channel

    I have a problem with my blended Xserve RAID.

    I see in RAID-Admin and configure it successfully (via Ethernet). Connect with our Xserve via Fibre Channel, but the XServe and XServe RAID do not detect each other.

    The fiber on the Xserve channel LEDs are white on the Xserve RAID completely off and permanent.

    RAID-Admin status of Fibre Channel: 'No connection (1 table)' with a red square.

    If I try to open the utility of fiber channel I get the message: "card Fibre Channel is not found." Utility disk OS X can't, too.

    I changed the card connector cable, and made several reboots. But each time the same thing: they do not detect each other.

    Check if you have enabled LUN masking. To be able to see, you will need to download raid admin 1.5 not the 1.5.1

    After having updated Broadcom driver on Windows 10 WiFi worked well, but I still had an error message ' Broadcom 802.11 network adapter wi - fi doesn't work "whenever I turned on the laptop.

    I have a format plugin where I have everything works fine with plugInModeGray16 to import, but I would really eventually have more precision. If I try

    formatRecord-> imageMode = plugInModeGray32;
    formatRecord-> depth = 32;

    So I did some more research and found the problem in the case of other successes for the. Even through pluginModeGray16 is what is expected, Photoshop do not like plugInModeGray32 and really wants that you just use plugInModeGrayScale;

    formatRecord-> imageMode = plugInModeGrayScale;

    formatRecord-> depth = 32;

    I have not tried, but I suspect the other dev having problems with plugInModeRGB96 might be the same problem. Just use RGB and set the 32-bit/channel in the depth.

    I get the following message if poster every time I start photoshop:

    I also noticed that the reflow option is missing from the drop-down list generaotr. I also tried just download/install the plugin installed by reflow.

    There is a simple trick to achieve this.

    1. uninstall all your photoshop CC & edge reflow CC (make sure that you delete all the files in C: drive and temp files).

    2 after step 1 install photoshop CC & edge reflow CC normally.

    3. now download the Edge connection Plugin of

    4. after launch the plugin, and now, you will find a folder of reflow in your (Mac applications folder) and your (Program Files under Windows).

    5 open the folder "reflow/plug-ins/alternator /" and copy "reflow.generate" file.

    6. now open Photoshop CC and go into plug-ins/alternator /.

    7 paste the copied here folder and restart your Pc or Mac.

    8. now, everything should be good.

    It isn't only one answer is how I solved the same problem on my mac.
