  I use a competent inputFile in jsff page where the user can browse the file system, select the file in order to to store in the database.

  I created a method of valueChangListener for this component which deal with this file and place it in db.

  The problem is:

  Once the user selects the file it appears for one second in the page it disappears and the valueChangeListener is not called.

  Note: the AutoSubmit regularity is set to true for this competent. I use jdeveloper with ADF 11g.

  I use jdev 11.1.1.5.0 version.
  
  I created a vo where I create a division of the transitional attribute when I add LOv in this attribute.
  and drag this attribute in jsf page that selects an item of choice.
  Lov is displayed correctly, but the problem is that when I select any element in lov and want to access in managed bean using the binder back 0,1,2... According to the number of the item selected from the lov.
  lov get not the real value of the component.

• Problem with Component Binding

  I use JDeveloper - 11.1.1.6 version

  I have following usecase in my product:

  1. on the summary page, I have the table to display the list of activities.

  2. when the user clicks on an activity, display the activity summary (region) the table below. The summary page of the activity has component Panel tabs with 2 components ShowDetailItem.

  I defined a liaison in pageFlowScope for PanelTabbed component in the managed Bean.

  When I selects the first activity, summary bean in the activity, the workflow task initialization method executes first and Set component PanelTabbed accessor method is executed later.

  But when I select another activity that execution is done in reverse order - the PanelTabbed setter method component runs first and workflow task initialization method runs later.

  This is expected behavior? How can I ensure that the initialization of task flow method runs first every time before execution of the component Set of bindings accessor method?

• Problem with component hierarchy Viewer

  When I used the hierarchy Viewer on a page (which does not include the model) it works fine.
  But when I used the same with the page template, it does not work.

  I don't know what is you the real problem, but I tested the viewer of the hierarchy in a workflow and could put it on a different page than the region without problem.

  Have you tested this?

  Did you put the viewer in the hierarchy of the workflow on a page as a region? You then see the hierarchy?

• Problem with component Folders_g in CS version 10.1.3.3.3 (080807)

  I gave RW access to some users, but not delete. When a content is created, the author is still able to delete content, even if it doesn't have access. This thing happen with the Folders_g enabled component. When turned off, everything works fine.

• Problem with 'Add a new value' component functionality

  Hi all

  I'm having a problem with the component feature 'add a new value '.  The component is designed to add an instructor for the purposes of accreditation.  When a new teacher is added using the component, it is added to a table for certification.  The search folder search this table allowing the user to update an existing record of instructor. Add the search folder for the component is a view of PS_PERSONAL_VW, which excludes the entries in the table of accreditation.  The only key to scroll 0 is emplid accreditation file. When an attempt is made to add a new employee, I get the error - "the value that you have tried to add already exists. Please specify a new value in the above fields. ", despite the fact that the selected employee was not added and is not in the table of accreditation.

  Someone has an idea of what the problem is here?

  I made 3 jspx pages, each page I placed component selectmany
  (1) selectmanshuttle
  (2) selectmanycheckbox
  (3) selectmanylist
  
  Shuttle component works very well.
  But I have problems with 2 following components: I do not get in the values of checkbox selected DB and when I press the button next to navigration they don't refresh this component too.

• Problem with rendering and the display of a component Declarativ

  Like here, I make my component, first deploy and import and everything works fine, then I delete all references to this component, and then I change my component with a few new employees as a description of some field and etc, but I have nothing to do with the functionality of this component. After that, I deployed this component and do the same thing as first import of the component. Now when I drag and drop component that I see only tags <>name of the component, I can spend parametars component and when I run the project I see, but in developer mode, I see tags and name. : S also, import method component cant do as in tutorial, now I have to go to another property of the project and import the jar file.

  -Make sure that you have deployed the component as a library ADF
  -to reinstall the component uninstall first (select library in the resources catalog and select the remove from project option)
  -Add the new component
  -You may need to restart the IDE for the file in some earlier versions of JDeveloper JAR must be replaced by the new

• Need help with solving a problem of component inking!

  I have not had any problems with the following programs (new laptop), at first with Windows Journal, sticky notes, handwriting recognition and the cutting tool. After six months, these programs do not work. Windows Journal: failed to start, error during initialization of the inking, sticky components: doesn't work do not restart 80004005, handwriting recognition: ink does not work on your computer now, snipping tool: ERROR now right does not not on your computer. I don't know if these problems are associated with Notea, trial version has expired. or somethig to do with Microsoft Office, I got office 2007 school (brought, because of specific classes taken) or else I did! I tried several thing in the help section and nothing works!

  Problems with the Windows Sidebar?

  It seems that the problem is related to the Windows Sidebar. Remove all third-party sidebar gadgets if

  Follow these steps and check if it helps.

  Logon as administrator-

  a. If the sidebar is running - make a right click on the sidebar near the lower clock icon right in and out

  b. Click Start - Type "CMD" in the search box - find top - right click it and run as administrator.

  c. replace C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar by copying and pasting this command->

  d. press enter (this is assuming that your sidebar is on C:, otherwise use the letter of the drive is on)

• ADF: How to get the path of the file when you use component InputFile

  I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 version.

  in my case, I created program Mail Client mail where I used the ADF InputFile component for attach file mail.

  but problem is this return path only component InputFile from the file (only the filename get)

  and in my mailer class DataSource uses the full path name of file access.

  UploadedFile uploadfile=(UploadedFile) actionEvent.getNewValue();
       String fname= uploadfile.getFilename();//this line only get file name.
  

  so, how can I get the full path using adf InputFile component or any other way to respond to my request.

  Try this (I did not, so I can't promise it will work):

  MimeBodyPart messageBodyPart = new MimeBodyPart(uploadFile.getInputStream());
  messageBodyPart .setFileName(uploadFile.getFilename());
  messageBodyPart.setContent(multipart);
  

  It does use the inputStream from the downloaded file as the content of the file attached. You shouldn't need a full path, since you're not going to use a file object to provide the content.  And it shouldn't be necessary to define the DataHandler.

  But if that doesn't work, I go back to my first answer.  Use uploadFile.getInputStream () to get the inputStream from the downloaded file, create an outputStream to write the file to the file system of the application server.  Then you have a file with a known path that you can subscribe to the DataHandler.  You can delete the file when you're done with him.
