• Problem with the paragraph in CS3 mac Styles

  I was wondering if anyone can help. I have a number of documents that have been created with paragraph styles by using a font that has disappeared from my machine. Now when I open my documents they look right. I changed the paragraph style in one of the documents to use a different font and now it looks fine, but all my other documents look bad. Is there anyway to set all my documents to use the updated paragraph style or will I have to change them all manually?

• My problem with CS4

  I'm having a problem with Photoshop CS4 that I am unable to find a resolution for... I hope that someone on this forum will be able to help.

  version o CS4 11.0.2

  o operating system is Windows 7 (64-bit)

  o 8G of Ram

  Problem:

  After using the patch tool. I'm unable to use the Healing Brush tool, duplication and/or buffer. My solution for this is...

  o create a new layer and move forward.

  o output CS4... restart and go forward.

  Any ideas on what I need to do to get other work tools once I used the patch tool?

  I tried to recreate the file preferences and reset tools and reinstall CS4 with no luck...

  I have a copy of Photoshop CS4 under Windows 7 x 64.  I use the Patch Tool brush tools, then Clone or healing very well, is not an inherent problem with Photoshop CS4.

  You either do something that I am not or something wrong with your system.  You remember deselect after using the patch tool, right?

  On the assumption that it is not that, but a problem on your system, have you tried to disable OpenGL drawing?  If not, try the following - it will help determine if you need an updated display driver.

  1. open Photoshop.

  2. go in Edit - Preferences - Performance.

  3. uncheck the [] enable OpenGL drawing.

  4 OK outside, then close Photoshop.

  5. Restart Photoshop and see if the problem persists.

  If she does not persist, then your problem is probably related to use of Photoshop to OpenGL and it is pretty well known that recently OpenGL implementations in the display drivers are getting stronger.  Visit the web site of the manufacturer of your video card and download/install the latest version for your hardware and operating system, and then re - enable OpenGL drawing, restart Photoshop and test again.

  Hi I am very new to Dreamweaver and still get my head around CSS etc. If anyone can help me in other words it would be greatly appreciated

  I do the 2nd row from my point of ball down to text - rather than justified left i.e

  SA is doing this:

  jumps etc etc.

  and I want to do this:

  has jumped over etc etc.

  Things I've done:

  • Set as the list by using the tab of the ball on the HTML property inspector

  • Set the position of the list inside

  The copy was imported as a full page of text and between paragraphs are listed:

  What I did is to design in fireworks - put a space reserved

  section for the text I have to export - once in Dreamweaver, I select the place

  holder, remove and then put the text in.

  But without having a good understanding of CSS and DW, I think it's

  Yep, that's why I asked the question yesterday - it looked like very fragile code, many blockquotes so not necessary and a bunch of other things :-)

  and realized that a graphics program had written code.  I use Fireworks every day for the last nine years or so and have never once exported the html code of the software - for this reason of course.  Creating pages like this gives the person a true false sense of security, until something breaks and then there is no way to solve problems without knowing the basics of HTML & CSS. I'm afraid.

  One way around this is (and it also sorts the text alignment is rather)

  Not draw no. :-)  Stay away from that - leads to a messy layout - as you've witnessed.  You can use a div wrapper which is relatively position to surround the AP div and that usually works, but depends on how the pages are coded of course.

• Muse + BC-problem with a form CSS style do Muse Page distorted

  I worked with before Muse for customers and have mixed BC with muse for articles, forms, etc. Normally, I build my sites as a developer with code, so I know the code.

  My problem is that I put a style in a couple of forms for a client who had a website in Muse. No matter how I try to put the CSS with the form, it distorts the page (see below). I tried to insert the form with content with css support inform on top of licensed content, I tried to put in the head of the site of Muse, I tired to modulestylesheet, I tried to put the stylesheet of Muse for a single page, and more, no matter what screws CSS to the top of the page. • video problem with CS4.2

  I'm having a problem unusual with my cs4 programs, noticed more in the body and AE.  Quite often my entire screen image will temporarily move a few pixels down and to the right.  He will return to its correct alignment in less than a second.  Also, when I click on a menu item, the drop-down menu will appear properly for about one second then disappear until I run my cursor over the area where the menu should be.  How the menu reappears one line at a time under the cursor.  When the item is displayed, I can activate it normally with a single click of the mouse.  This also happens when I access my screen title, screen Media Encoder (within the Organization), etc.  Programs have also started to freeze on me more often, forces me to close it using the Task Manager. sometimes even requiring a reboot.  Otherwise, the programs seem to work well.

  I ran in WinXP Pro and works in standard definition with the following equipment (all drivers are up to date):

  ASUS p5q3 deluxe motherboard with 4gigs memory

  ATI Radeon HD 2900xt with 512 MB memory

  Matrox RT.x2

  I know just enough about computers to be dangerous, but I wonder if it sounds like a video card problem.  Someone at - it ideas?

  My guess is that you have installed a Microsoft Intellimouse driver. It's the mouse driver software provided with the Microsoft keyboard/mouse sets. Go to add/remove programs, uninstall the Intellimouse driver (leave the keyboard driver - it creates no problems and supports useful features of keyboard) and restart. The generic Windows mouse driver loads and works perfectly well, but corruption of travel/menu will be gone.

• Problem with CS4 models

  I created a model with master pages and paragraph styles.   Are material from this model with file > new > template Document supposed to update if I make and save changes to the template?

  I think that I tried everything, including trashing prefs could not find anything in the documentation on the subject. I I'm wanting something that isn't there?

• problem with CS4 4.2.1 update

  I'm trying to update Premiere Pro CS4 4.0.0 to 4.2.1.  I have Windows 7 64 bit.  At a certain moment, I received instruction click next to install the updates, then this message appears: running the Application.  Close the following application and retry to continue installation of update: processcoordinationserver

  I suggest opening bridge and running the update from there.  First restart your system to close all processes of Adobe.  Then just run Bridge and run Adobe updates from there.  This way Pr will not not any suspended persistent process open.

• Problem with CS4 update

  For several weeks now, it says I have 2 updates, download and install is supposed to be done, but they do not.

  I found it much easier to launch Bridge and make the updates from there with closed applications. You should check in ""Username"" / AppData/Local/Adobe/Updater6 "to see if the installation files are always there, I delete them and try again."

• Major problems with Premiere CS4

  I have big problems with CS4. I recently bought a new computer - essentials are as follows:
  
  Intel Core i7 920 2.66 GHz
  2 x Kingston 3x2GB DDR3 1333 MHz (= 12 GB of RAM)
  ATI Radeon HD 5770 v2
  ASUS P6T SE, LGA1366, X 58, ATX, DDR3
  2 x 500 GB 7200.12 Barracuda (RAID1), system disk
  2 x 1 TB Barracuda 7200.12, diskettes
  Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
  Adobe CS4 Production Premium + latest updates
  
  The problem I have has mainly to do with the first although I think that the rest of the Production Premium software should be run better on this computer as well.
  
  To start, I was very disappointed when I couldn't see a single HD sequence of the first timeline (it was a rip .m2ts to a Bluray disc previously burned Self) at all. The rendering is very slow and even after that the video does not normally, showing a few individual frames per second. When I point the chronology to a certain place, it takes several seconds up to what even this same image is displayed in the monitor window.
  
  And that's not all - I decided to try with a DV AVI basic clip, previously captured with my organization of 1.5 on my previous computer (3.2 ghz Pentium 2005). Is a native file, so there is no need even made and still the same problem occurs. With normal playback only about 6-10 frames are shown per second. That is absolutely ridiculous - even my laptop in 2004 is more fluid DV AVI with 1.5 of the body.
  
  While I run the first, the RAM level used is only up about 24 percent. The processor comes here again, nearly a hundred when you press play on the timeline.
  
  I did have these huge problems with other Production Premium software (though as I said, I think they should run faster as well). Otherwise, the computer works well.
  
  One of my friends pointed out that the graphics card I use is not on the list of the Adobe Web site to those supported with first, but AFAIK, it should not even be a problem of graphics card with these machines high-end.
  
  -Of course I could use few help and ideas on how to get the creative work. My main goal for the purchase of a new computer and Adobe CS4 Production Premium was to begin editing HD after all! Thanks in advance!

  Dennis has already been said, your system is powerful enough to easily manage DV and HDV formats. The fact that it is not, even with all the latest drivers installed means something is installed in the past is corrupt things. When even to kill all these processes does not help, I would go for the radical solution. Disable the CS4. Do a complete new installation of Win7, install CS4, acivate and apply all updates. Then try again. It should work without problem. If so, create a restore point, and then add other applications such as Cyberlink. If it still works, do a new restore point and proceed with the installation of other applications. In this way, if you install an application that has been the cause of your current problem, you can go to a previous restore point.

• Problems with paragraph styles in CS4?

  Let me start by saying that I recently switched from Quark, so I'm really a newbie in InDesign. I was watching videos as much as possible, but can't seem to find the answers to questions like that.

  I've been taking the old brochures that have been created in ID3 and sticky type and pictures in a new format that has been created in ID4. The new format has already created with the update fonts and other formatting paragraph styles as well.

  When I circulate in all the new type and click the style sheet, it does not change the correct font type and size, but there is in the paragraph of formats that are not updated. For example: the whole paragraph (according to the applied style) should be the book of Gotham, but even after you apply the style to it, part of it remains "BOLD" Gotham. He has been "BOLD" in the previous version of the document, but must be regular in this one.

  I can think of a few possibilities, but the I would like to write specific instructions vary from one case to another. The find/replace menu is invaluable here.
