  Hello friends, I just finished my first authority site design in the Adobe muse (www.healthieradults.com), and I seem to have a problem with my forms. First of all, I have very little or no experience in web programming, such as PHP to be precise. After uploading my Web site to host, I get an error message saying "PHP script is not configured properly on the Web hosting provider, check if the file has been uploaded correctly. I checked and made sure all my settings in muse are correct, but muse seem to be generating an error response in the file form_check.php on my server (www.healthieradults.com/scripts/form_check.php), I don't really know how all these php functions work, I downloaded the file and tried to not mess with it. Fixed in my email address in a place where I thought I'm supposed to, but still keeps giving me the same errors. You can see for yourself www.healthieradults.com. I need help please, maybe someone could show me how to configure the php properly script to work with my forms without errors...

  If you get the above error and get the same at http://www.healthieradults.com/scripts/form_check.php (which we are not able to open at our end), chances are that your host does not support PHP. Could you contact your hosting provider and confirm if your site has support for PHP and MySQL Server?

• Problems with form fields

  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro (version 9.2.0).  I'm an avid user, and recently I started to have problems with the form fields (text, list box drop-down list, check mark, ect.).  When I go to applications-> add or edit fields and try to move ONE of the fields, they move sporadically.  I thought that maybe it was my mouse, so I tried to move it with the arrow keys, and then it does the same thing.  Sometimes I have to just move the field by a hair, and it clearly moves across the page!

  I asked my people to TI, and of course this isn't their specialty, so we're trying to think of what it is NOT!  I really need this to get back to normal, because I've created forms throughout the day.

• Problem with form of smartview

  We have recently migrated Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3 application to a newer version of 11.1.2.3 and many workbooks are saved with forms of the old version 1.3 smartview.
  When we try to open the saved form, it tries to connect to the old version 1.3, and we see no possibility to change the details of the connection here.

  How easily update us the connection to 1.2.3 and open / save the form in the new version?

  I went through the same process, a few months ago, and according to the number of MS Excel workbooks, it is really easy - although a tedious might say - to the convert\migrate the leaves of ad hoc recovery overall.

  1. make sure that the URL of the shared connection is set to point to the new HP v11.1.2.3.x.

  2. open a MS Excel spreadsheet to be repointe

  3. from the main Ribbon bar, click Smart View > Panel

  4. in Smart View Panel, locate and then click [content Document] by clicking on the arrow pointing down icon

  5. a list of all the worksheets connected display then

  6. right click on each definition of the connection, and then select [change the connection]

  7 select the new connection APS URL from the drop-down and then click the [next] button

  8 go again cube HP, and then click [finish]

  9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 as needed

  10. save the MS Excel workbook

  11. click on the button [update] on each worksheet containing a form\adhoc retrieval\submission

  The same principle applies to forms and worksheets adhoc retrieval\submission.

  See how you go.

• Problems with forms created with LC Designer, Adobe Reader 10.1 and Windows 7 7.1

  I have an application that runs on Flex 3.5 and some xdp created with LC Designer 7.1.

  FRAMEWORK

  The application should work in Windows XP and Windows 7.

  It allows the user to submit an order and view/print the order confirmation.

  The order confirmation is a pdf file generated by a xdp created with LC Designer 7.1 (and a connection via an xml data file).

  Some pdf need to display Japanese fonts, others not (let's call them jpPDF and usPDF).

  The XP and 7 environments have Japanese fonts installed.

  USING XP

  When you use a XP environment, there is no problem to create and display the pdf, the jpPDF and the usPDF. Everything works fine and as expected.

  WITH THE HELP OF 7

  When you use a windows environment 7, I have different issues according to the generated pdf:

  jpPDF: Adobe Reader tells me that I don't have the fonts installed. When I accept to install the fonts, nothing happens and the pdf file appears completely empty.

  usPDF: Adobe Reader tells me that the created pdf file is not compatible with the latest version of Adobe Reader, so I need to upgrade. But I have the latest version available...

  Someone of you have encountered similar problems? Is there really something wrong between LC Designer 7.1 and Windows 7?

• Problem with form while looking in the browser

  I have a form I built and want to send the whole pdf to a url.  I added a submit with an action on MouseDown button to submit a form. When I open the pdf file in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC he works perfectly.  However, when I open the pdf file in the browser (and not in the stand-alone software of the real acrobat reader) I get a "Adobe Acrobat" error saying "error opening URL to submit this form.  I am 100% sure that I use the adobe acrobat reader plug-in in the browser and I tried to open the file in the browser on both the local and a remote computer server accessing the Web page.

  Is there a reason why I get this error in the software acrobat reader browser but not in the stand-alone software?  Any ideas would be useful.

  On a side note, I'm doing this because I need to save a copy of the PDF (filled by the user) for the server and the only way I know how to submit the pdf... and from there I a Manager php to from there.  If there is no solution for the question above isn't another way to trigger the pdf file to save on the server after it has been changed (not on the page loading)?

  Ahh, I think I found the problem... You may need to provide the URL of the PDF form that is placed on your site, so when he responds with TOT it will load the PDF file of the URL; in the contrary case; the TOT doesn't know which form to fill out. Also; be sure to choose IE or FF web browser by default in your operating system. because it can automatically open the PDF file with the default browser.

  Hi esermons.

  It turns out that my address (e-mail address by default on e-mails from the system) has been the new parameters of DMARC via yahoo.

  Fortunately, I have an e-mail account alternative, I can use. I just hope that they don't also use these new settings. If everything seems to work now.

  I don't know there must be a way around them, I think that Google (gmail) have a way. But I am curious to know if you know of one.

• Problem with form in Adobe Acrobat pro ms machine

  I created a form where I wanted people to respond to similar questions on each page of the form.  There are several questions and boxes.  I used to be able to copy the form field that had a similar text and just edit, but this time when I copied them they display the same information in each copy and I can't understand why.

  Have you started this as a model file acquired from a third party? A colleague has provided a link to the page containing the form. The page contains several syntax errors in the code and more than 90% of the code on this page is not generated by Muse/Adobe. The code seems to come from third-party widget. I strongly suspect the syntax errors or other conflicts within the code not Adobe are the source of the problem.

  I recommend you to isolate the cause of the problem to first remove all third party widgets and custom code that is inserted via insert HTML code or in thein the Page Properties section.

  If this file has started as third party file model, you can contact the author/provider model for support.

• Problem with forms 11g

  I installed 11g on Win2003 R2 Forms and the facility is clean and everything works fine. The WLS_FORMS starts without a problem on port 9001 and when I asked his status through the http://localhost:9001 / forms he answers forms listener is running. My problem is that when I try to run my simple form I created by form 11g, the browser page comes with nothing in it. It shows no error message or anything that might be useful, and it does not show the form either!

  There are many ways in which you can host the plug-in on your own server. The easiest way would be to store the installable in the same Oracle home, in a directory that is already set up with a virtual path. For example, the directory of java forms. Then simply set up your formsweb.cfg to point to your own file rather than the distance.

  Thus, for example in 11 forms, follow these steps:

  1. download the JRE 32 bit on the Java website (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads). For example, 1.6.0_24 is as follows: jre-6u24-windows - i586.exe

  2. copy this file to: C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms\java

  3. change the configuration of your web (formsweb.cfg) to reflect the change. So, something like this:

• Problem with form visible/hidden

  I worked on a form for a while, and I'm almost done with it. The form consist of three pages, the pages of frist is a guide to the second and third pages are the real form, on the second page, I have 3 radio N, S or T buttons, when you select one of the buttons I want 1st page to hide completely, but it is only to hide the text and always on the poster page.

  On the termination option button, I have some JS that will hide page 3, but will not hide the first page. any ideas on why this is happening.

  Hi, the javascript code does not work at the bottom of the form because you have javascript errors on your page.

  Once fix you those then it should trigger the script form (which you can see at the bottom of the form)
