It's weird, my printer is not right, feel I di the thing clean print head, no error messages m and it prints if slight, I hardly see that it printed at all.
Wel. for the same problem, I found a solution.
Best Buy, I bought a Brother MFC-J4750DW for $69.00 new it came with a starter pack of ink and cost less than just the ink for my HP. Now located in a dumpster.
So disappointed with HP and the customer service.
I highly recommend, stop to worry about this and change printers.

This questions the printer head problem. see the following steps for cleaning print head:
Click the Start button, if you have Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, click the Windows icon located in the lower left corner of your computer screen.
Click on "Control Panel", then "printers and other devices. Finally click on "View Installed Printers or fax printers."
Right-click on the name of your printer and choose "Printing Preferences". This should open a new window; Then look for a tab or button labeled maintenance, or something similar.
Find the button that says "Print heads" or "Clean print heads" and click it. You may be asked to choose the print heads; Choose them all if you are. Make sure that there is no paper and ink in your printer, and it is turned forward.
Remove the page that your printer has printed and see if there are the missing gates or boxes. If it does not exist, you can just exit the program - your print heads are not blocked. If there is missing grids, then click on the "cleanup" or even button labeled.
Once you have finished the cleaning, print another page to make sure that your printheads are is more clogged. If they are still clogged, repeat steps 1 through 5 until your printer is printing clearly.

21/01/14 hi support community - after having installed the Mavericks a few weeks ago, I can no longer print to my HP Photosmart 6510 of any of my devices Mac: MacBook Air, iMac, or iPad. The printer acts like it is printing, even if the result is either no impression on the page or something almost too small to see, with weird colors. I replaced all ink cartridges. I was on MAC support forums and have done everything suggested, i.e. reinstall the printer, reset the printer, so that reset each device. The printer will not print a test page.

RESOLVED (I think). After posting my question, I continued to search for possible answers. After starting from scratch, I followed the instructions and others have left regarding the problems of scanning. Seems that whatever it either which has interfered with printing can also lead to the (logical) scanning. I have no idea what exactly 'fixed' my printing problem even if at the moment everything seems to work. (I did not scan anything - and this time not afraid of)

Get a script error when you try to print, and when I print the black ink is very light on the page. I replaced the ink already, it's a hp officejet 6500wireless.

All of a suddenly got very light black text, but color was OK I tried two different black cartages reinstall the drivers, reboot several times, re - insert the cartage several times, making sure that the wind was bright and clean the the cartages several times each. Several test pages have printed differently. A-lines Z on a test page are different. One line will be very very light and the following line may be normal. In the text box in black, the light and medium seem to print correctly, but the black part can print a few lines or a few black bars 1/4 in. thick. The single line box "are and verticle lines appear with some of the black line and some of the line will be gray." None of the lines print on any medium gray. I just tried to print a form with black text and I made a few tasks. I connect by a Dell XPS 8900 wireless. I am at a complete loss and could use very little help!

very light gray printing black ink
I changed all my cartridges and black ink is printing very light - a light gray. I returned for a new cartridge, cleaned the heads and I always have the same question. All other colors seem to be good. A test page, colors only print so I can't tell if black is currently tested-help!
I have a HP Photosmart Plus B210 Series.
I was finally able to fix my problem. I have reviewed the information contained in these positions; do you have the power off/power on, disconnect/connect to cables, resetting on the ink cartridge, the printer align (which was missing); However, after completing all the steps a few time the option Clean Printhead finally cleared up my problem. Black ink is printing now.

I would say that running the HP print and Scan Doctor to start to see if that solves the problem.
If the problem persists, continue.
Then, try to print from a few different programs to see if the problem occurs in only program or more. This will help us better to 'target' the question.
Let me know if the pages are still printing in white and that the programmes seem to be giving you the problem.

7280 HP displays a blank page before every printed page
Newly installed 7280 works very well, but whenever something is printed, it displays a blank page before every printed page. It is true that printing from Word, IE, Outlook, Quicken, Photoshop, etc.

I have a Dell 2135cn printer. It is 1 year. It has started printing very light copies. I replaced the toner cartridges, but he continued to print light. I just had the same experience - called Dell technical support. I use the replacement toner. Even if my 2135cn is 3 years old, he apparently has a support life support phone. In any case, the fix was to enter in the Setup, maintenance, admin, non Dell toner - be sure to what it gives 'On '. Used this printer for months without problem until he ran out of color ink. Buy genuine HP color ink on amazon and replaced the empty color ink. Installed the latest driver.
