problem with Greek characters

I use Muse on a Greek project and I chose to use without open font but when I publish the project in the browser fonts are Arial or something without opening.

Is there a solution for this? Is this a new bug?

What are the parameters of language and characters of Web fonts in the content panel of Site Properties? At least the Web setting fonts characters should be "All".

    There is no csscan or csalter to XE. You are not allowed to use them. XE is Unicode only by its design. Instead of trying the methods not supported, why not just store Greek in Unicode (AL32UTF8) as it should.

  • SAP Adobe Print Forms - problem with Chinese characters

    Hi all

    We use printing forms Adobe SAP to create a business document. It is designed using lifecycle of the Adobe Designer (ALD). The form is displayed in the Chinese language. The requirement is to display subtitles for the few fields in bold.

    When you design the form, we put the legend as "BOLD", but when the form is generated only a few characters are displayed in bold.

    I don't know if it of problem with Adobe Reader or should there be specific fonts to be installed on the AD server?

    Please let me know that all the fonts packs must be installed on the local machine?

    Thank you; I got your new document.  But nothing has changed. This first line is always exactly the same mixture of Japanese and Chinese fonts, as in the original.

    If I change these fonts to Adobe Heiti Std R (in bold), it looks like this (in both Acrobat and Reader 11.0.09 11.0.09)

    I downloaded the PDF changed to https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/e5380c9e-2b0f-4ad4-ad94-ac83d86cd80e so you can see the difference.  Heiti font is embedded, so you will not need the police on your local computer.

  • Problem with French characters and combined Variables.

    Using Captivate 4 and by publishing in SWF, I discovered the behavior noted below.

    issue.PNG

    You can see a text caption

    The text of the first line of Captivate is "change the Word settings - $v_ScoreParam$ $/ 10'"

    When published the e is transformed into a Chinese character.

    Is this a known issue? Or I do something wrong?

    Thanks for the clues.

    Hello

    It is a problem experienced in Captivate 4 (there are several discussions in this forum about this), and sorry, it has not been resolved in CP4, but no problem to CP5 (doesn't help of course).

    I had a lot of problems with this. The only solution is to put this variable in a separate text caption and try to put it in place in the other text of legend. Personally, I've avoided using these variables when expected combination (like e to u...) characters.

  • Problem with accented characters

    Using the UTF-8 encoding in my Flex application (<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >).
    Using UTF - 8 ranking in the MySQL db and fields.

    When I manually insert a line in MySQL (through phpMyAdmin) with accented characters (ie: e, e, e,...), everything works fine.
    When I use my Flex application to insert a line (through php (amfphp) script), accented characters are modified when it is kept in the database.

    What is happening and what I can do to fix this?

    I just stumbled on this pair of days. This has to do with amfphp framework, so go to the gateway.php file and positioned like this: $gateway-> setCharsetHandler ("none", "UTF - 8","UTF - 8"); It worked for me with the same configuration you have.

  • Problem with Greek subtitles 4333 - Toshiba 32 L

    Hello

    December 13, I bought the TV 32 L 4333 for home use, and soon I realize that the TV media center could not support the Greek language...

    Even if I tried to find any menu 'hidden' to change the preferences of coding (as most of the televisions a lot older than that), there was no solution to my problem.

    After two weeks (19, 12, 2013) I communicate with the local (by e-mail) service in Greece informing them of my problem and I have still not solution but just for a response... just like "... in update future firmware your problem will be solved."

    I do not know if someone has experienced something in common with this model, but also with this company, but I feel very disappointed...

    Regarding the Greek subtitles please check this thread
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=72584

    Select UTF-8 standard, text editor such as Notepad ++.
    You must choose the character set and I also choose the option convert to UTF - 8.

  • Problems with special characters with Apex5

    Hello together,

    I hope, I'm right on this forum with this problem, I have found no other best match.

    I have a single database called apex12D on 12.1.0.2 it's my database of the 5 Apex develompent. Apex 5.0.2 is installed, also the German language of Apex. The OS is Oracle Linux 6.

    On a second machine that I have configured the Oracle Data Service remains with tomcat (installed from the repositories) and apache (also installed deposits), running on the Oracle Linux 7 operating system. This machine is my "http server" to connect to my Apex environment. Everything is very well workung, but when I go on my Apex Admin Backend all special characters in German (A, U, O,...) are displayed incorrectly. Which looks very good.

    What makes that I made:

    To the database (apex12D), I put all the nls paramereters the installation of the database of German letters:

  • problem with the characters of the text field

    Hi all

    I'm missing a few characters, once I insert the text in a dynamic text field. characters are not lacking by saying; they are replaced by empty squares.

    characters such as the euro symbol and accentuated German letter.

    What is weird is that the other German accented letters appear. If only a few selected are missing.

    How Ive set up the FLA:

    (1) I added 4 text fields to the scene to police im using, Arial, one for each font style: normal, italic, bold and bold italic and in all 4 fields ive incorporated all Latin characters (to include the German characters accentuaded and im guessing it is in the punctuation group that contains the euro symbol so that one is also incorporated), not to mention as lowercase, uppercase, numeric, and all the groupd default to include the basic text.

    (2) I have a dynamic text field created with createTextField, and set up the ActionScript code following (2):

    This.createTextField("hello_txt",0,10,10,100,20) ("T_text", 1,0,10,Stage.width-60, 50);

    var myFmt = new TextFormat();

    myFmt.size = 12;

    myFmt.leading = 3;

    myFmt.font = "Arial";

    T_text.html = true;

    T_text. AutoSize = 'left ';

    T_text. Multiline = true;

    T_text.WordWrap = true;

    T_text. Selectable = false;

    T_text.embedFonts = false;

    T_text. TextColor = "0 x 666666 ';

    T_text.htmlText = _global.gallery_1_image_text_1; This holds the im text, called in a database.

    T_text.setNewTextFormat (myFmt);

    now, I'm composing text in a database.

    When calling the text from the browser's address bar, there is no missing characters.

    It's just when I make this appeal of flash and load the text in the dynamic text field, that the characters will be missed.

    Here is a link to a screenshot of the text that is displayed in the text field Dynamics defective flash.

    http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/340/UTF8.PNG

    any ideas? I mean, it seems that the arial font is missing some characters accented! because the code that I have installed loads other accented characters.

    someone has seen this problem before and know how to solve?

  • XML and problem with special characters

    Hi all

    I have an application, here and there, some customers complained that it doesn't. I studied their xml files, and eventually I found the problem. If there is a @ or & in the value of the item it does not work. I don't know if any of you have had this problem, if you could you please say regarding how I can manage these characters or even disable these as input.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for your help guys, I did a little more digging. UTF - 8 does not, but UTF-16 only and yes the & amp should be used instead of the & symbol.

    It is an ancient and not recommended, method which can corrupt data.

    Instead, please read about changing tank db in the Migration of the character value:
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e10729/ch11charsetmig.htm

    The first recommendation is to fully export and import a new database with the correct character sets.

This happens in new projects created in RX7 and projects implemented at level of RX5.
