  I installed the Spybot spyware/malware removal tool. Then uninstalled.
  I don't know if this is the cause of the problem. But I assume that it is.

  So, maybe someone faced the same problem and knows the cause for it.

  I have problems to connect to my Oracle database.  I don't know what was the cause, but now when I connect to a database that has been working well for the past two years, I usually get an ORA-12541 error.

  I run lsnrctl status on the server and get a prinout like this:

  I also tried to manually stop the service through services.msc, then by restarting via lsnrctl start, but when I do this I get a very long delay (10 + minutes) before he comes back with something like:

  A few times during that time, I was able to connect to the server, via sqlplus, however, it took 10 minutes before the connection is online.  Once I'm connected, I can ask my paintings as expected, but I need an application to connect.

  If anyone has any ideas on what could be the problem, please let me know.
  

  In fact, there was another thing, I changed when I finally got it works, although I don't know if it was related or not.  In my folder with my track logs, I had a huge (> 4 GB) listener.log file.  I deleted this file right before that I ran the command netsh command to reset and then restarted.  This file was also a bit special, because it had not been updated since around the time that I first encountered this problem.  It seems to be updated on a minute by minute basis, now that I've removed the old.  Is there a problem with this file becomes too big?  My drive was not out of space, but it is very curious that this stopped file update on the same day as when I started having the problem and now works properly again.  I wish I had noted the exact time until I deleted it.

• Flex with Oracle ESB Services

  The offending WSDL is lower (not that I think it's important that the other "good" looks a lot like what leads me to believe that the problem is on the side of Flex):-

  It seems that I finally found the answer - doh!

  You will notice in the WSDL file that precedes, there are 2 links "__soap_rsGetDVMlist_execute_ppt" and "__esb_rsGetDVMlist_execute_ppt". It seems that Flex has trouble deciding that one to use. The order in which they appear in the generated WSDL varies, and it seems that Flex chooses also varies (it can be one of first or second). To sum up, from time to time, Flex chooses to use the connection without SOAP! (I speak only using MXML here of course).

  To work around this problem, I saved the WSDL of BSE and in a file stored in the Oracle Application Server document space. I then removed the section linking BSE (link name = "__esb_rsGetDVMlist_execute_ppt") and the port which refers (port = "__esb_rsGetDVMlist_execute_ppt" name). Point the URL of WSDL Flex at this new location of WSDL and it works every time.

  You may think a better way to proceed would be to use the new Web Services in Flex 3 Import Wizard. Sounds good and uses axis 2 under the hood. It also allows you to choose which link to use (now we're talkin'!). Except there is a problem with it, it seems to generate the structure of incorrect data for the request! He wants to send one of the tags in twice (ie the same nested tag), which of course the web service rejects as invalid. I tried some jiggering things around without result for awhile, then I didn't want to spend a moment more to solve a problem Adobe seems to have left - oh well, next version Adobe!
  Without knowing the details, I can't help but wonder: - in the code generated under axis 2, he mentions "modified by Adobe" - would things worked better that they were * not * changed axis 2? It is hoped that the mods should integrate with Flex builder and nothing more.

  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A300-17.

  It of really hard to tell how much of the material could be faulty, but if the laptop does not start, then a serious problem of material is possible.
  You said that the internal screen was dark, but you could work with an external monitor attached to the laptop.

• Problems with Windows Vista Service pack 2: Code 8004402F; Code 80010108

  Well, I tried to download the SP2 for Vista Edition home premium, about a month ago and got the 2nd error code indicated. I recently tried again and got the first code listed. During the recent attempt, the achievement of the updated 3/3 but computer froze just after the restart and had to do a system restore.

  In addition, windows update cannot download updates... always says UNABLE

  And, I can't run/install programs downloaded such as to fix the windows update. I get a message saying "THE TEMP FOLDER IS ON A DRIVE that IS FULL or IS INACCESSIBLE. FREE UP SPACE ON THE DRIVE OR THE VARIFY THAT YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO WRITE TO THE TEMP FOLDER '

  I'm the administrator, I have more than enough free space on the disk, and I double checked that the permission is given to all temporary folders. Disk Cleanup is done frequently. SP1 is installed. I am running Trend Micro security and have tried with this option disabled.

• Problem with Oracle Forms 11 g 2 on linux

  Here's the problem:

  • -J' installed Oracle Forms 11 GR 2 (11.1.2.2.0) on Linux from Oracle using the JDK 1.7.0_79 6.6
  • -J' solved all the problems and issues of the Arab reports.
  • -Now regarding the oracle forms now when I compile the FMAS on WINDOWS and move them to LINUX, they work very well except for forms that use WEBUTIL the form runs but WEBUTIL functions do not work
  • - So I tried to compile these forms on LINUX now WEBUTIL feature works, but all forms (with or without WEBUTIL) compiled under LINUX display this exception message before the race, here is the behavior:
  1. 1 - the form has a trigger CONNECTION on, but here's what's happening
     
  2. 2. after pressing ok, it requires logon, and when I try to log displays the ORA-12705 as above and so on

  The problem was because I was using a NLS_LANG that contains a space in the value and it is surrounded by quotes like NLS_LANG ='NLS_LANG ARABIC_SAUDI ARABIA. AR8MSWIN1256', which worked very well with reports.

  but it seems that the quotes were causing problems with forms,

  So I put NLS_LANG to the two forms and reports ARABIC_EGYPT reports.sh default.env. AR8MSWIN1256 OR ARABIC_AMERICA. AR8MSWIN1256

  both work well, now no NLS_LANG, error

  but the question of having to recompile the forms when moved to another server, who I thought he was still a known issue.

  Therefore, I created a temporary table with this data and made a left outer join with the other 3 table. It runs a few seconds and I can say all the data I am able to take less than 15 minutes to 6 hours.
  
  So my question is that why Oracle is a strange behavior.
  
  I tried all approaches to avoid this kind of behavior methods but unable to produce the same thing as how I did in the second approach.
  
  For example, I joined the first two tables and use NO_MERGE hint with the third table and always NO_MERGE, PUSH_PRED's not going anywhere. I tried Inline view and it doesn't give me any improvement in performance.
  I'm tempted to do it using WITH Clause with two tables and then joined the data set with the third table. But still does not.
  I tried hint ORDINATE and yet so big difference.
  I even tried to force some clues which are presentm, but the 50Million cost ranges from 200K.
  I think I'm exhausted all the possibilities.
  
  I'd appreciate any Oracle guru can help me what is the issue.

  You could start trying to impose (with extensive predicates) what you discover or believe work better.
  In this case I usually found the ansi syntax not useful and often the optimizer ignore my intentions:(mais il n'y a pas de mal essayer)

  Upgrading hardware can be a very satisfying experience, especially as it is almost always little expensive compared to the value of your time. Virtual memory / paging on the Windows and PC hardware is a huge disappointment, so more memory on Windows is a cure-all. With more and more common 64-bit operating systems, laptop computers and the PC is currently available with 8G of memory.

  That said, I think few users have a business case for the visualization of the hundreds of thousands of lines via a graphical user interface.

  Getting back to what concerns the management of memory in java, I want to put in a plug for the garbage and first new Garbage Collector. It will be the production in JDK 1.7, but can be found in the JDK 1.6 u14 & high in experimental option. The most recent revision update, the better it is. Just add something like this in your sqldeveloper.conf file:

  I had problems with EM starting on oracle.lubelskie.pl so I run the emca - dbcontrol db config command and entered the correct values.
  
  Now EM starts ok and when I go to http://oracle.lubelskie.pl:1158 / em it asks for the connection. I enter the connection information and connect to the mdok database.

• Configuration problem with Oracle 10g to DB2 UDB v8 DRDA

  Oracle 10.2.0.4 linux RH 64 bits - DB2 UDB v8.2 32-bit linux. I'm trying to install a transparent gateway to connect from my oracle instance to the db2 instance. I got up to the level requiring the rebinding of package and this is the error I get:

  You're right, that drda_remote_db_name must be the name of the Db2 instance.

  The error you get highlights the fact that you are a multibyte character in Oracle or DB2. The bridge can connect, but I must first be able to map character indicated by the error message:
  TG4DRDA v10.2.0.1.0 GRC = 0, DRC =-332 (865B 0001), rehabilitation = GDJREACS errmc = 1208, 819<== 1208="" and="" 819="" are="" the="">

  Add the following entries to the file codepage.map gateway-

  S 367 > US7ASCII
  D 13488 > AL16UTF16
  D 1200 = AL16UTF16
  1208 M = UTF8
  MBC 1208 1208 1200 =

  The default location of the file is $ORACLE_HOME/tg4drda/admin/codepage.map

  These values map code page 1208 Oracle's UTF8, character sets so that the gateway can translate UTF8 data into code page 819 (WE8ISO8859P1).

• Problem with the internet service of blackBerry Smartphones

  Hi, I had my BB curve less than a month, so I'm still learning.  I can access internet for most sites, but the one that I want - I can not go beyond the main connection.  I am an AVON representative and want to be able to access my AVON site but when I connect, it just reloads the same page - doesn't give me any error messages or anything.  AT first, he said I had to activate Java script - I went to options and enabled the Jave script - but still no luck.  Does anyone have any suggestions.  I have no problem with other sites, but I have not tried all the others I actually connect.

  I would recommend a third party FREE application. It is called opera mini, another type of browser. It shows the page of the entire site and you can zoom in on what you want on the page. I had the chance to connect to sites on this

• Problem with Assembly of Services Essbase servers

  I have download the installable required for Installation of Hyperion 11.1.2 but after selecting select by product, Essbase services 32-bit server is not selected. When I've highlighted that it is giving the message not found 'Assembly '. It only happens with Essbase Server services only. Rest are very good. I downloaded part 1 & 2 delivery Essbase. Do I need to download anything else outside of these? Pls help

  Yes, you need additional content, like I said OPMN is a component of additional content and this is required for the installation of essbase.

  I copied the tnsnames.ora even as that used on the db Server
  on the client 'C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\client_2\Network\Admin '.
  The host name is just like a normal ping works. TNSping is not available.
  but I get the [ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified] error.
  The listener is running and the instance as well since everything works on the source server.

  but tnsping is still not recognized.
  
  sqlplus works however when I put in
