  I have the same problem with an iPhone 6. Try the general > reset > all settings, and then re-pair your phone to your car and see if it works now.

• Problems with Photomerge - HELP Please!

  Hi everyone - I really hope you can help me here. I am trying to create a composite image along several other images. Sounds like a panorama, no? Well well, close, but not exactly. My photos (I'm a marine biologist) are of the ocean floor and all images have a chain or transect tape measure in them. The photos are taken separate images along the string or Ribbon, and now I'm trying to merge them into a single image of long who has the length of the Strip or the string through it. When the pictures were taken there is a lot of overlap (we usually look for a feature like a big sponge or something to include and use as a reference point).

  The problems I run into when I use photomerge are:

  (1) it is not merge all of them into a series, but gives me up to four "fixed" on a background

  (2) I don't know how to move the images around me for the best alignment (in some cases, its perfect, in many others, not so much)

  So, I can add them a facility in time? Can I move the images for the best alignment? Can I use the photomerge automated at all?

  Suggestions please! This chapter of my doctoral thesis little depends on it! Thank you!

  Looks like the algorithm has enough to work with. The general rule is that you need 40% between individual frames.

  And you need distinct features. Sand or mud will probably not work.

  I try to manually align in a first time - just stack them, reduce the opacity as needed and use the move tool or move with the arrow keys. The trick is to move, then go to Image > reveal all to extend the canvas as you go. Double-click the base layer to turn it into a floating layer, so that you do not get the solid background color on the extended canvas. Return all the opacities to 100%.

  This could help first "horizontalize" (Yes, it's a neologism) the rule in each image.

  Once you have essentially set up, make a copy and try editing > automatic alignment. This is the first step in the Photomerge script. If it works, run automatic merging - this is the second and last step.

  If automatic alignment does not work, you will need to finish manually. But you can still run the auto-merge to merge.

• Problem with Hotkey features

  I had this problem for quite a while. I noticed that, after a few days, one of the services of ThinkPad Hotkey features, on-screen, have been disabled for some reason any and seems impossible to restore without reinstallation. For example, when I press Fn + F5 (wireless is enabled), instead of giving me the black screen to allow me to switch wireless and Bluetooth, it only toggle the button bluetooth every time I press it. It is the same with the volume and brightness indicator icons when I adjust them by Fn + Home/end and Volume controls respectively.

  I contacted Lenovo service and they told me to reinstall the display on the screen. However the problem comes back. Is there another way to do so that I don't have to reinstall again and again?

  Appreciate if there's quick answers.

  PS My system is a laptop Lenovo T60 and Windows XP Professional SP2 (pre-installed), and I've owned for about 3 years already.

• Satellite C850 - found problems with the networking and the FN key

  I work on a Satellite Toshiba C850, that my parents recently bought and spin in a certain number of questions.

  (1) wireless won't connect to my network. Have done the following: verified by connecting on two other computers, reset the router, the open network, reset the map, reinstalled the realtek drivers, checked the settings in the networking of Toshiba Utilities. End result is he's going to try, and fail. Wired LAN works fine.

  (2) FN key does not work. Have you checked the region and it is OK, have tried to use the Flash cards - no change, checked with the screen keyboard and can check the FN key does not register.

  I noticed that the first problem is common, but there are obvious positive results. If anyone can offer any assistance, I would appreciate it a lot.

  Before you begin to discuss your problems can you please tell us what OS you are using?
  Are you using the original OS that you got with your laptop? I mean original recovery image has been tested and works correctly, with the factory settings that all should especially the FN keys.

  1 / What do you mean with refusing? your WLAN is visible for your laptop?

  2 / if there is problem with the feature keys FN and you use Win7 try please reinstall extra package from Toshiba.

  I am facing a big problem with the feature "javax.microedition.media.Player". My requirement is at the time to play any song that I have to change the "sampling rate". But I have found no way to change this with something related to the sampling rate. Then I tried a different way with durythme, TempoControl PitchControl, all of which are J2ME stuff to change the playback speed of the song. But unfortunately, I get all the objects as null, so there is no way to work with tem? Is not Blackberry supports durythme, TempoControl, PitchControl API? But in the Blackberry API docs. It is written as it will support over and above JDE 4.0.0. But the VolumeControl supersingly works correctly. Is there something wrong in my access procedure?

• Problems with tables in InDesign CS4

  Recently upgraded to CS4, I had problems with editing features in tables. The problem occurs after working on a table for awhile - where in a first time, I am able to change the color of the outline and weight very well, but then, after a period of time, it becomes buggy and I'm more able to bring additional features line/column, as changes not being not able to set the color of the outline to zero. The part-time work around, I've found is to leave InDesign and re-launch, and then reopen the document, how can I then change the traits of the table - but only for a while until the problem again and I have to repeat the process of exit and restart. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and could know a fix (or better work around), or if this is a known bug in CS4. I don't remember what is happening with the change table in CS3. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  I am not fond of the tables. Never been able to do the table styles work properly.

  My method to treat stroke selct the cells and use the proxy in the control panel to set the stroke or STROKE I want to edit, and then change the attirbutes. I find sometimes that I need to change the weight, sometimes the type of stroke, or sometimes even both. If you have applied a troke to a cell that is shared with another, then go in the other cell, I find that you must explicitly choose this feature again to change.

• Problem with stitching using photomerge in Photoshop CC2015

  Certainly a noob here, but I try to understand what I can do differently to mix successfully 8-10 JPEG files using the photomerge feature. The photos are aerial stills of a mall on the roof, shooting with a quadcopter to 125' above that surface. My altimeter varies only about a foot that I place the helicopter overlapping stills of the roof surface, but Photoshop produces a composite image that has geometric distortion and layers incongruous way.

  Interesting.  I flew the helicopter again and took a new series of photos of the same altitude, but this time in vertical mosaic, with probably 30 to 40% overlap, and Photoshop seemed to love working with these images better. In fact, I thought that I would get the poor image quality, there are winds of 15 to 20 kt when I flew; Maybe I'm just lucky stumbling. This merger is 6 images and Ps not create geometric distortion / misplaced layers that happened when I made a merger of the two horizontal and vertical images.

  I have a problem with a panoramic picture created using photomerge and 8 photos (with photoshop cc)

  The result was very good with the exception of a segment not very much aligned.

  I managed to put in place a few pixels and the picture is almost 'perfect', unless I have a sewing little empty space that I can not complete by any tools such as stamping, brushing, patch, or even paint.

  Now, I have a suspicion of snicking the problem lies in the layers, but I can't understand to create duplicated layers, and where possible.

  (I should try to merge the psd pcictures instead of jpg?

  Any ideas would be very welcome.

  After you create the photomerge you have 8 layers.

  If you merge the layers into a new layer at the top of the layer stack by pressing Ctrl + Alt Shift + E (Cmd + Option + Shift + E), does make a difference?

  Try to start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if this helps when your security software is involved.

  Hi Alberto

  In my opinion, this question needs complex test procedure and if you hope to have a quick fix and easy you are wrong.
  No one knows which blank media you are using. Is it some without name or product of high quality, what type of data is stored on writable media, record the option is enabled, you have tested with burning as NERO software and so on.

  At the end you can backup all your data and install OS using delivered the recovery media. If the problem persists, it may be hardware problem.

  Sorry, but it's really not easy to give a precise diagnosis here.
