• Problem with pop up adds and virus warnings when using safari

  I have an iMac with OS version 10.11.4 2011 mid.  Sites that I visit such as Ancestry.com, Google Maps and find A Grave.com, download pop up ads and new tabs open with warnings of virus heading towards various support sites, including those who say that Apple in charge.  The pop up and new tabs who may or may not happen if often the Web sites are very slow to respond at all to give me the turning ball.

  I closed several times tried to solve the problem in closing Safari, turn off my Wifi, then restart safari while pressing the SHIFT key, and then once that Safari has loaded, removing all data from the website and checking my making sure that my security settings is set to block pop-up windows up , and that my privacy is set to allow cookies and data Web site only on Web sites that I visit. Once I did this I activate Wifi.  But it does not clear the problem. I also ran Clamxav with the latest virus definitions that found six files with extensions of .emix that have been found in my emails and phishing files.

  I switched to Firefox as my default browser and have so far not had a problem with the pop adds up or virus alerts.  And the Web sites I visit have been working properly.

  What should I do to clear the problems I am having with Safari?

• Problems with VSS and RoboHelp on the second machine

  We chose to use Visual Source Safe as our source for use with RoboHelp control tool. To build the VSS database that contains the project to help on the server, we used the version of our aid project successfully on my machine. I got no problem with it for several weeks. Everything works beautifully. Files are collected, verified and checked back with no problem.
  
  The problem is that we have been unable to someone else have been correctly set up on the team upward with the RoboHelp VSS source control. Given that we do not build the database from scratch, the way we did with mine, we try to 'get' the version of VSS on the server and place it on his machine. I guess this is the way to do it, but we don't know how. When we try to get the version in the source code control, only the top level of subject .htm are recovered, and not anything that is nested in children. Then, when attempting to open the project help on his machine, we get all sorts of errors going to "corrupt .cpd" files to 'caractΦres' to "the local version is different from the source control version" (DUH!). We say to her to get the files in RoboHelp, when we try to open the project assistance to his C drive, but it's not download them properly, and invariably RoboHelp breaks down.

  From my experience with RoboHelp and VSS, I found the following:

  Getting the initial copy of source control can be tedious, but not hard.
  Most likely, you have only the folder level higher because the "recurse" (or "recursive", I don't remember off the top of my head) check box has not been checked in vs.

• Problems with getting WAP54g repeat (extend) wireless network

  At one of our offices, we have a Cisco ASA5505 firewall that has dhcp active. I have a WRT54G Router plugged into this active firewall with DHCP. The scope of our internal network is 192.168.51 *, but when it is connected to the WRT54G, it gives you the scope of 192.168.1. * We have an antenna amplifier screwed into one of the ports on the router antenna. This configuration all works very well.

  The problem is to install a WAP54G access point in a building on the property (picks up the signal fine wireless router) to repeat the signal wireless at the rear of the property where the router will not reach. I've read that all you have to do is type the routher wireless mac address in the access point and select "wireless Repeater". I have the channels set to 6 on both devices as well as the same security configuration. When I try to connect to the network wireless access point, it never gives me an ip address in the scope 192.168.1. *, that the WRT54G is configured to give. Anyone know what could be the problem?

  I got it. I was working with security personal WPA2 on both devices. I removed the security completely and both devices connect then. I then used to fix, WEP. The two devices communicate with WEP.

  I recently started to create an app for BlackBerry, so I'm still pretty new at this... I am having trouble with the anti-pop and pushScreen. I searched a lot but many solutions I find do not work for me. Essentially, here's what I want to do, when we click on a button, the screen must be closed (exploded view) and it must come to the screen I want that there. • Problem with preview videos.  And a second question

  I use CS4.  So, I had this program in the last week and have worked on some of the stuff for learning it.  I save most of my images in HD.  When you view fottage in the Source drive is fine, but when I use the preview player, one to the far right by default, the video is choppy and crashes, pretty sure it's just using a little too much my resources currently, I don't care to see the video player overview in HD, what can I do to make the preview Player use less resources but still keep my videos in HD format so that when I export they are still in 720 p or 480 p.  I know it is related to the creation of a new sequence, but cannot understand what setting I should change and what.

  Second, sometimes I am only able to record streak in 480 p due to various reasons, I have the ability to record in 720 p, most of the time, the problem is when I have a project that involves the two resolutions.  I see only 4 options, 1 save things 720 p to 480 p when the project involves 480 p, 2 to scale the video 480 p up to "720" (and yes I know it's not ideal, but for my projects, this can actually work), 3 Add the 480 p images in and it just has to be smaller than the 720 p images and last 2 different videos for the 720 to 480, and do my 2 video parts.  Y at - it an option that I missed?  I don't think I can have the range by this exact video, file sequences?

  I'm glad you saw the red line. Pressing Enter will make your Timeline. It can be limited using the WAB (work area bar), in the same area of the timeline. It has a little "hook" at each end, and you can drag to limit the WAB. I use this a lot when I am Keyframing animation and want to only return a small area. [Note: the WAB can also limit exports too.]

  Is there a way I can make sure that the sequence matches the video, that I am importing?

  If you build the images, the best way to get a complete determination of its properties, is to note the settings of the camera. If you didn't shoot the images, then the utility freeware, G-Spot, will give you all the information. If necessary, you can make a preselection of (customized) Desktop for your sequence to match your footage. Say that your film was 640 x 320 @ 25 fps. You can set these parameters in your sequence of office settings. You want to match your project/sequence of your film. If you need a different size for the output, do you this in Adobe Media Encoder (AME).

  I want to make a small program that will reduce the amount of time to go forward with the measurement data. I get data into .dat format, where all the files consist of frequency measurement with an X and a Y column. The problem is that I made 4 experiments (X column is the same for each experience) with 15 measures file each and more than 500 points of measurement in each file. I would like to make a simple manipulation and this copy that information to a file with same X column and multi-column, later I could use these data with Excel or origin (do it manually, it's frustrating and time consuming).

  At the beginning my program reads the background information with X and Y (b), and after I open the worksheet to insert the X and data of Y (n). (make a simple manipulation, like dividing Y (n) /Y (b), program show a graph of the current data and another graph multiple data, which are stored and must be exported in .txt, .dat or directly to Excel (which is more preferable)). I'm OK with the opening of several files of data, but which are not okay with copy/paste file and handle all that data manually, but that's my motivation for this program.

  The attached example can do all this (except for the entry in the file). He draws multiple charts on a XY chart using cluster and travel records. It is even possible to extract data in Excel, all that graphic, but the real problems comes with data are always added because of the loop. This gives a lot of empty and repeated data later. I'm jonesing to get rid of this. I have also attached several files of measure: 1 background and 3 measures.

  Your program absolutely no sense. What is the purpose of the structure of sequence? It just sits there, operating both in parallel to the while loop. Probably that you read from the local variables before other parts of the program had a chance to write valid data for them.

  In the while loop, you have a case of timeout that adds the same data over and over again, every 50ms. Why?

  Your mechanical actions "switch release" are misguided. Use actions to latch and remove structures deal as part of the event.

  Try to rethink the problem once the mode, and then solve the problem with 20% of your current code. See how far you get.

• Problems with latest updates Windows (KB) do not install & repeated notifications via the taskbar icon

  In my view, there are many people who seem to have a similar problem to mine, although I was unable to find an answer to one of my questions in this post.

  Description of the problem:

  Although my Windows Update is defined on download & install updates during the night hours every day, the latest updates, KB26333880, KB2572073and KB2518864 are not be installed.  I went to the Windows Update site to check my editing history.  He showed the green/white checkmarks next to all 3 updates.  The record also showed that updates have been tempted 3 times during the night.  After clicking on the button "Express" on the Home Page, the results show 3 above updates, but show "0 bytes', then '0 download time. '

  To me, this indicates that there is no update to download, despite the yellow Shield of Notification of update continues to appear in the taskbar.

  Corrective measures attempted:

  1. I tried to download / install twice unsuccessfully using IE8 and FF (including restarting the computer).

  2. download & run the program MS Fixitattempted, but received a message which read, "an unexpected error has occurred, please try again later." No. error code has seen with this message.  (I could RECORD the program on my desktop... just couldn't run the establishment).

  3 tried to search for the presence of these updates using start > run > %windir%KB###.log (where the # is the individual number of update KB).  Every time - a message appears indicating that the file is not found.

  4 looked at the Add/Remove Programs list (with the Show updates checkbox checked).  No updates KB mentioned above could be found.

  5 with SAS, MBAMand Outpost Security Suite Pro scans revealed no malware/security issues.  (SAS and MBAM are used only as scanners on request).

  This problem with the updates does not download & repeated notifications being indicated in the taskbar has occurred many times before.  On this occasion, I called Microsoft several times before finally, my computer remotely accessible support person and spent about 50 minutes to fix the problem.

  (Also, it is noted that almost every support person I spoke with has always tried to tell me that MS is not help with the problem of this type.)  I had to be rather several in my reply... tell the person that MS IS in fact provide assistance free security-related Windows updates.  They now provide free assistance is unknown). Besides... • Regular CPU spikes every 15 seconds with USB 2.0 audio, fix, but refuses to install.

  When streaming audio via the audio interface USB 2.0 Audio Class Compliant on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit update, there's regular CPU usage spikes up to 100% every 15 seconds, sometimes amounting to audio dropouts. Utility LatencyMon v6.5 reports that huge amount of CPU time is spent inside the usbport.sys driver whenever there are any audio stream of isochronous USB happening. I know that there is a supposed to be available to target exactly this problem - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/981214 fix - but the fix refuses to install, probably because the fix itself is quite old and does not seem to recognize the latest versions of the drivers usb*.sys on any instance to date of Windows 7.

  I have tested and confirmed this problem on two different mobile-class workstation laptops from different manufacturers, both based on Intel 7 series / C216 QM77 chipset (Panther Point) and using the integrated chipset USB host controllers to connect to the audio interface (a 18i20 of Focusrite Scarlett). One of the laptops has EHCI and controllers xHCI routed to different physical ports, the other laptop has all the physical ports connected to xHCI; It might be interesting to note that the problem seems identical to the audio interface is connected to EHCI or xHCI. All other possible causes that usbport.sys were eliminated by a careful configuration and the measure, i.e. There is no limitation, no turbo CPU, no CPU C-State, not of processor HyperThreading, no food, no virtual memory paging management event, not even any SMI (System Management interrupt) passes, everything boils down to usbport.sys hogging the CPU.

  It is in any event, that my most sincere and humblest hold like a paying customer for a hotfix update fix this if possible, one that is truly committed to settle. Without corrective work, Windows 7 machines are quite useless for all serious audio work. I also feel that I speak not only for me but for all members of the global computer audio community who are trying to use Windows 7 with audio USB.

  Just upgraded my Windows 7 Professional for Windows 10 Pro and the issue hogging CPU is now gone - no pics no CPU more, more dropouts no audio USB. (It would still be nice to have a fix for Windows 7 someday, too)
