• Problems with Pictues as buttons

  Hi all

  I am very new to catalyst and flash in general so please excuse me if I don't clear enough but here nothing happens. From a background psd file in Photoshop layers, I create a web site. Now I import that into CF and it looks great, I transform several layers of buttons and create for buttons rollover effects now come the interesting part, that these layers are images that are angled to rotate CCW by 25%. They are installed in a sort of photo album layout. the problem I encounter is that since they are so close with each other buttons not overlap the actual pictures, but the buttons as you can see from the photo I uploaded. If the bearing still appeared on a single picture/button while the mouse is in fact rather than another. Any way to make the image of the same button as the image or am I going about this all wrong. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  If I understand you correctly, you made the rotation of your Photoshop document, correct? I think that it is perhaps the source of your problem.

  I have attached two sample files. RollOverDemo1.fxp displays two buttons with the overlapping bounding boxes. But the rotation is applied to the catalyst. The rectangles were NOT shot in Photoshop. The affected areas are properly respected. In RollOverDemo2.fxp, I turned the rectangles in Photoshop first, until I made the button components. This version shows the problem you describe.

  So try to unrotating elements in Photoshop and do in Flash Catalyst.

  I have problem with input text boxes / text fields. In the text fields of the text cursor (line) just stops flashing. If you start to type, it does not show the text you type in unless minimize you and maximize the window. This happens in many programs.

  It is usually a video driver issue.  At the office, you might be able to alleviate the problem by disabling the settings video hardware acceleration.

  Suggest that you reset the text tool, that only he can fix.

  You don't say what kind of paper you use. The two Flash mode and standard canvas are supported multiline and automatic text wrapping. Try double-clicking the box at the bottom right of the textfield object while you edit.

• Problem with text Photoshop with OSX Mavericks on Macbook Pro

  I have a frustrating problem with Photoshop on my Macbook Pro. "I can enter text without any problem, but the minute I try to edit it, resize, change font or color the totallt disappears and the layer name back to ' layer x" (whatever number it is). This problem has appeared since the upgrade to the Mavericks of OSX, but only on my Macbook Pro... he can't on my iMac 27 "that is running the same OS.

  I totally uninstalled all my CC Apps on Mackbook Pro, reinstalled Photoshop CC, same problem.

  I uninstalled CC again and reinstalled Photoshop CS6, same problem.

  This is despite having run the software without problem before.

  The Macbook Pro is a model in early 2010, has only 256 graphics... so can't run the CC 3D option, but there 8gig of ram... the only difference between the Macbook Pro and iMac in terms of specs is the format of different graphics card. (iMac is late 2012 latest version)

  The problem is I am a teacher and the Mackbook is my portable teaching... and I teach digital photography... so I must have Photoshop running.

  Any... other than total sugguestons clean reinstallation of the entire computer, that would be a total pain and extremely time-consuming.

  Turn off the speech recognition/dictation feature in MacOS 10, 9 - it causes problems for text editing.

  I have a problem with the buttons toggle that I use to show/hide a number of legends about a single slide of the reset. The rocker works very well on the first button when I click on and off to show or hide a legend. A simple click on and watch legend. One click off the coast and the legend disappears. However, if I leave a legend that is displayed and click on other buttons to show/hide the other legends, they do not show or hide in a single click. They require two clicks. It seems that something continues the read head after that first toggle is used until there is a second click. The same thing happens if I reset to enter action. If I click on a caption and leave it in place and move to another slide, it disappears when I re - get this initial slide. However, it requires two clicks, not one alone, to display the legend. I find it very strange; I learned most of my techniques from the Lilybiri blog, but this problem does not occur on his examples. I think I'm missing something obvious, but may not know what it is.   Hi all. I have a problem with styles in InDesign CS2.

  Basically I have a selection of styles for some self help books I have spread on a regular basis. Several styles to load the text to be set to 10 points with a line spacing of 12.5 - However, when I use styles, text is in fact 12 points with 12.5 in the lead with no. '+' sign on the style, which indicates that the text has been changed somehow out of style. When I click on the style to check, it still maintains it should be 10 points, and eventually, I will change the text manually with the eyedropper in other styles. It's almost like it's getting a size by default from somewhere, but I don't know where. I've renamed the styles and the recreated from scratch, nothing helps. Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

• Problem with Web site button

  I just started using flash, but I'm getting a little better. I bought a model by the monster and have slowly picked up on flash. Here's my problem and forgive if I use incorrect terminology or seem ignorant...
  
  I have a page on my site that has 4 buttons on each side... video clip a button looks like a bar with a little arrow at the end clip. I'm sure you know what I mean. When you play with the mouse on the page that we meant to obviously go through his actions and alert user there is a link. If I put my code on the clip, you must move the mouse over the arrow to display the link.   I think the answer to your question is to duplicate the button in your library for each instance that you will place on the stage. Give each one a different name. What you use, with all eight buttons to behave about the same thing, is that you placed a button on the stage eight times so they all have the same behavior. Create 8 individual buttons with unique names and place them on the stage. There is a way around this with actionscript, but since you're a beginner, I think the above solution is simple, down and dirty. I hope this helps.

  Try to join the police in the textfields.  If you select the textfield object in the button, theProperties Panel should have a button available called Embed.  Click on that and rthen select the characters that you expect, you'll need (the less the better in terms of file size)
