  Hi, I'm new to the forum but I have been using Adobe creative suite for some time now.  As described in the title of the thread, I am having a problem with my photoshop clone stamp and Healing Brush tool that I can't fix on my own. I searched on the internet all day, scroll on many other posts, but I can't seem to find anyone else who has similar problems as I have here.

  It's a little hard to explain but the question I have, is that when I go to use my healing brush or Clone Stamp tool, layer I work if it is a flat or normal background editable layer get displaced as soon as I press the option button to make a choice, and when I go to install in the region using these tools it is then as I duplicated the entire layer and drag it around of the screen, even if no copy / paste was filed.  All my other tools are functioning normally and I wasn't having this problem last time, that I have worked on anything in photoshop.

  I am running:

  Mac OSX 10.5.8

  CS4 extended version 11.0.2

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Your probably see the source of duplication of overlay.

  Go to window > uncheck Source of duplication and either:

  Display the overlay for no overlay or check CRT to display the overlay

  cut to the size of the brush.

• Problem with clone stamp and Healing Brush

  Once the value of the sampling point by option clicking on the Healing Brush tool or the Clone Stamp tool, I suddenly see a double layer that moves with the cursor that I try to position oveer place I want to fix.

  I tried to reset the two tools.  I'm running CS6 and know no other problems.

  Any ideas what's happening?

  Clone your seeing the overlay from the source and you can adjust the preferences for the clone overlay by going to window > Source of duplication.

  You could try clipped and see how it works.

• Clone Stamp and Healing Brush does not

  I also have problems with the Healing Brush tool and the Clone Stamp tool

  I am running Windows 7 (64 bit on a powerful computer with 6 GB of Ram and pleanty of HARD disk space.)

  I use the mouse cable and do not have a connected tablet.

  I duplicated the background as a background copy crazy ab\nd the invisible ther background layer copy backgound is selected and is made visible.

  By clicking on the tool or the other, I move the cursor to the source area I wish to clone of and [Alt] - click. I then try the slider on the destination area, the part I want to cover up with material in the source area of love.

  What is happening is the entire image moves showing that I move the mouse, revealing another image below that does not move.

  Either I don't understand what these tools are supposed to do, (I doubt that because I used this tool several times in PSE 6 without problems) or there is something terribly wrong with the program.

  I have underststand fronm reading the forums that the same problem exists in CS4.

  I checked the updates, but the only update I have not downloaded and installed is supported for recent cameras Raw files.

  PS Files that I'm getting are the original JPGs and have not been converted to any other type of file.

  It looks like what your seeing is the clone source overlay.

  With the selected clone tool, click the icon highlighted in red

  and set the options as shown below.

• Rubber Stamp and healing tool brush stopped working

  I was using Photoshop CS6 modifications when the tool pad and corrector has stopped working.  The crazy part is that they worked just before they stopped working.  I restarted Photoshop without result.  It helps, I'm on an iMac 27 ".  Any ideas?

  See if reset photoshop cs6 preferences solves the clone stamp and healing of the painting tools.

  Hold down the shift + command + Option keys right after the beginning of the launch of photoshop cs6

  (you have to be fast while pressing the keys)

  Keep possession of the keys down until you get a dialog box asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop settings file

• Can I change icons clone stamp and brush selection circles in CS5?

  In much my older version of Photoshop, when I chose the duplication or brush, buffer their icons changed to a circle when I used them in the picture. This makes it much easier to work on small surfaces with buffer of duplication or brush - brush and clone stamp forms I have CS5 are not specific enough. They can be changed to circles?   Whenever I have download this tool from the microsoft update service I have problems with my laptop L10-104. The system stops after that one every time changing the period and the display resembles a church window.

  After that I deleted this tool, the laptop runs without problem. Is there someone with a similar problem?

  I never heard the show. I put t know what tool you mean exactly, but I think that it s a Microsoft problem and not a malfunction of the Toshiba laptop.
  I recommend visiting the Microsoft Knowledge base and checking if you can find more information on this tool.

  You TNS_NAMES (tnsnames.ora) and path (for binary oracle) defined?

  Could there be a second tnsnames.ora from a previous client installation / failed and ODBC is not pointing to the wrong file?

• Problem with rotation tool?

  Hi all

  I'm having a devil of a time with the tool rotation (Windows 7, Illustrator CS 6).

  I draw an ellipse.

  I click R to get the rotation tool.

  I put the 'anchor/Center' at the end of the ellipse.

  I go to the other end and try to drag (or alt-make slide to get a duplicate) by clicking on the anchor opposite.

  Nothing happens. My cursor moves the shape, but it does not turn.

  Which resets then went back to the rotation tool.

  What I am doing wrong? I followed the video and they do it very well. Is there a setting I'm missing?

  It's frustrating, so I'd appreciate any help.

• How to get a second image in the layer panel

  In item 13, I have two images that I want from. I brought here them both of the Organizer to the editor, but I can't seem to get them both in the layer panel to use one as a background. Someone just tell me how to get an image from the photo bin toward the layer panel?

  Several solutions. I advise to begin:

  You have your two visible photos the of in "basket" (area of the bottom of the screen). Choose the one that will serve as "background by double clicking on its icon. She apparaiit in the editing space. Now, click the second image basket of the in and drag on the edit box.  You have a preview of this new layer, ready to be resized, moved or such. Use the handles of the frame of this image pour what control do. When you post by clicking the green check mark, your new layer should appear in the layers of the screen Panel.

  You can adjust the dimensions etc. without loss of quality; This layer is UN 'smart object' as long as you don't choose "simplifier" (freeze) the layer which becomes a regular layer.

  Some operations on the layers cannot be carried out only after having simplified.

• Cannot use clone and heal brushes

  I followed the video how to use these brushes, but whenever I select one of them, me either to get a 'hand' or a small cross, which don't allow to select the areas to be healed and cloned. What I am doing wrong?

  When you increase the size of the brush, you should see a cross in the middle. That's the point of withdrawal, such as the area click you on what you want to heal or clone on. As soon as you click or drag the hand appears with the proposed area to be copied (usually a sample nearby with a similar color) you can drag the hand, if you prefer to copy from another part of the image, and then click done.

• Problem with VMWare Tools and the virtual drive

  I installed the test version of "Workstation" and installed a windows 7 x 86 non-virtual DVD drive mapped, which is mounted on D:\.

  Subsequently, I installed all Windowsupdates and after that I tried to install the VMWare Tools.

  But every time I get the message that I should look on the 'virtual' drive on D:\.

  But there is no virtual drive, it is my DVD of the hostsystem.

  Is there a way to mount a virtual drive with tools or install them in another way?

  Hello

  You can directly install the VMware tool configuration by copying the setting in the machine and manually install the same.

  Try VMware on another machine tool in which you will get the installation... Copies on disk and then move it to your new VM and do a manual configuration.
