Problems audio yoga 900
I have audio problems with my brand new 900 of Yoga.
I like everything else on the laptop but when I watch something on my computer audio has always been this noise of crackling CONSTANTLY that the speakers are going out or something. I have the audio a level 12 or 14 when this happens. I never put my noise level above 20. It is really annoying, especially since it's a brand new computer.
I want to contact technical support, but this site is designed terribly I know even where there are a number of mail or telephone for support.
Please, any help would be great.
Hello somang2, welcome to the Forums and I'm sorry that you are having problems with your Yoga 900.
To contact support, or click the 'Support' link at the top of the page, just scroll down and click on the link 'Contact us' in the support section.
You will be redirected in Lenovo's Support pages. Probably the fastest option would be to have a hotline to trigger a repair under warranty service. If you choose the 900 Yoga and provide your serial number through the product support page, you should see the support options such as "call me", 'submit a service request' and 'cat '.

I met an annoying problem with my 900 of Yoga.
the display is frequently glitching... or can say turning off & on less than a second.
can anyone here help me how I can solve this problem?
I tried to reinstall the graphics driver. but he said it's impossible! (downloaded the driver on the Lenovo support site).
I should first of all uninstall my current driver?
and is it the right solution?
Thanks in advance
Thank you very much for your help.
My OS is Windows 10 version home, 1511 (pre-installed on my laptop), and I had checked in the Device Manager, which showed that the driver is properly installed.
I don't know what was the exact reason for the problem, but fortunately it has resolved after disabling some services in msconfig. in fact, I guess one of my BlackBerry services had caused the problem.
I recently started using a 900 yoga, but have found that some problems with the way things are displayed. Google Chrome has a weird blue bar at the top right below my favorites. In addition, Google Chrome does not well fit. I use the default 250% scaling in Windows.
I turned off auto brightness in power settings, but the brightness of the screen, always adjusts automatically.
Sometimes the trackpad records clicks if I double click, for example.
Well, it's more a problem of Windows, but not all synchronized to my old laptop to it (as my desktop wallpaper).
Could I please get some help with these questions?
I found the solution for the automatic issuance of brightness on the link below. Number 2 covers the problem I had.
Issues of trackpad, I followed the solution on the link below and reduces the time for clicks after typing for bass and I saw some improvements. It is noted, however, that the Synaptics driver was the same version as displayed.
I want to show Aproblematique I had with my 900 Yoga to see if others have had similar problems.
I discovered this when I put my Yoga, (who was asleep) in my backpack and then subsequently noticed he was awake. It took me a while to understand what was going on, but I finally decided that she had nothing to do with the backpack.
My 900 Yoga wakes when picked up by the short edge (as I have done to put n my backpack). You can see in the video:
(BTW - I'm not press the laptop, I'm just taking it as it is necessary to pick it up by the edge.) Press the lid and there is a pressure on the rise on the bottom. It is the pressure on the lid which seems to be the cause of the laptop to wake up)
Note that Lenovo has been great and sent me a replacement laptop. But I'm curious to know if others see this same problem.
Is this a common problem with 900 Yoga?
I seem to have a 'No load' intermittent problem on my Lenovo Yoga 900.
This happens often when it is fully charged and I unplug for a few minutes and then plug it in again. If I let it go below 93 to 95% it will tell usually "plugged in, charging" again.
Is this some kind of glitch or a feature? I tried looking to see if I had the setting of 'conservation' and I do not have.
I have a few days to take it back to the store if I need to. I'd really rather not send it because we have problems of the Stagecoach drop packets that end up getting robbed because we live in an apartment with several locked doors, so they usually it plant next to the door and run off and then someone else takes off with our business. Had it happens a few times with orders from Amazon. (grr)
Thanks to anyone who can answer this question!

Good day and welcome to the community.
It is my experience with my 900 Yoga and the Yoga s 900. In this way the system does not constantly on 1 or 2%, which is not good for the battery. In contrast, Mode of Conservation will be charge at ~ 60% and then stops. That has certain advantages, too. Personally, I don't use The Mode of preservation, and so far I have not seen no negative effect on my batteries.
I hope this helps.
I have no luck installing Ubuntu 16.04 on my yoga 900 s, because the drive Samsung NVM is not detected. I tried several options of BIOS and as arch linux without success.
Does anyone has a tip for me?
Some games I play on my Lenovo Yoga 900 crash and the reason is that, in my view, that the graphics card is not powerful enough. Often, the display driver stopped responding. I was wondering if I could pass the Intel HD Graphics 520 graphics card GeForce GTX 980 or something else.
Good day and welcome to the community.
There is no way to upgrade the graphic subsystem on your machine. The Intel HD 520 is integrated into the chipset package. Although some laptops have discrete graphics chips, almost none don't have been socketed. They are welded in place.
Hope this helps to clarify.
I have a 900 Yoga but I need to extend the life of the battery for a 35 hour trip. Ideas for an external power Bank?
Basically just watching movies.
Good day and welcome to the community.
I see you found the thread, but please see: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/yoga-900-travel-battery/m-p/3342482#M41798
Basically, you would need a Bank of power in which you could plug adapter/power supply of the laptop as the cable has additional contacts to carry the 20V required for laptop power/charging. So far, I have seen no banks USB power that can support this cable directly.
I just got a new Lenovo 900 13.3 QHD Yoga and I have great difficulty in getting an internet conection, pass at the start but stall after a few seconds, but parameters show evidence of a connection, one can offer advice on how to fix, I am new to Windows 10 so have no idea about where to look, all my other computers are Windows 7 machines. Welcome to the community of Lenovo.
Here are a few basic things to try when troubleshooting wifi on Windows 10:
* If you run Windows 10 v.1607, you might want to try a network reset everything first. (Scroll down for the article above article.)
This discussion is several pages long, but you might find a few tips specific to the 900 Yoga: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/yoga-900-WIFI-issues/td-p/2204383
I recently bought the 13isk yoga 900 and I absolutely he love until now.
Now, I came across the pen digitizer from my last laptop. Its a N-trig LS04-A09. It came with a laptop Fujitsu Stylistic Q702. I was wondering if I can use the pen with my new yoga as well.
If so, how do I install it? My google search has not been successful of success at all.
Thanks for your help!
The simple answer is: no, it won't work.
The trig pen n requires a special the digitizer surface behind the glass of the screen, as the book of surface, or on tablets of Galaxy of note, it will not work on standard touchscreen.
Everyone figured out how to connect two external displays with Yoga 900 using the C USB port? I really want to buy it, but this is a dealbreaker for me.
You can use a Type C USB adapter DisplayPort in conjunction with a DisplayPort STD hub or a USB Type C appropriate adapter that incorporates a hub of STD.
If one of the external screens supports chaining, you can use a C of Type USB to DisplayPort adapter to fix the screen on the 900 of Yoga. Thereafter, you must connect the second screen on the first screen DisplayPort output.
Hello, yesterday I received my new Yoga 900-13ISK however after turning on the backlight on the keyboard I noticed there is some backlight that crosses just 1 vents where the hinge is, according to the attached picture. Is it normal for someone else? I'm not sure if there is actually something broken/faulty in this area of specific air fan or not...
Appreciate any help or advice
Well I don't know if this is 'normal', but now that you say, mine which is also - although I had never noticed before.
My Yoga 900 from 2.98 to 3.01 GHz constantly clocks. I said the only way to avoid this is to use the balanced power plan. However, I would like to continue to use my personalized plan. Is it possible for me to contact a Lenovo representative, and to present a request for a fix?
He might not in the BIOS. Windows 7 is on a large number of units pre-UEFI Thinkpad in the era.
When you have created your personalized diet plan, base you it on the High Performance profile? I'm curious to know if you create a custom profile based on balance, if it will accelerate properly.
Received my Lenovo Yoga 900 not too long ago.
When the laptop is moved (tours, tours, etc.) I can hear the sound of a small component moving around - is - this normal?
I have the same, in my case it is caused by the small strap hinge covers that are a little loose. I guess that's normal behavior.
I have a new Yoga 900 and as I'm browsing in the screen, the mouse cursor will sometimes just stop moving. Right click on two fingers and two fingers scrolling still work very well, like the touch screen, but the trackpad itself does not have to move the cursor. If I wait about five seconds and restart my finger on the trackpad, the thing will come back to life and work for maybe another 45 seconds or more. Someone knows how to fix this? I adjusted the settings on the Synaptics touchpad several times, without success.
Yes, I could enter and update drivers, it just took me a while to find the right way to do it. Thing works fine now
