  We have (or better, a customer of ours has) an ESX4 server with local disks.

  This server also had a mounted NFS datastore.

  This morning, one of the worst things that can happen in a datacenter has arrived: due to a power problem, everything has been turned off.

  When the power came back, everything started well.

  That was a problem: the NFS server probably began before the ESX, and so the NFS volume is now not seen (it is not important now)

  In the vShpere client, the data store has disappeared: I don't see not dimmed in the list of data store, it disappeared completely

  Also, if I run the command of "vdf" on the console, here's the result:

  Could not open/vmfs/volumes/xxxxxx (where xxxxx is the NFS volume)

  Someone at - it knwow hot to fix this?

  I have already tried to restart the ESX Server, because there are many virtual machines running at the moment...

  Furthermore, someone knows where are stored the vmfs mount points? I found the configuration in the the/etc/vmware/esx.conf file...

  Drivers for the HiLink will be loaded into the machine and they move when the device is inserted into the USB port. However, this feature will not work unless it is connected to a USB 2.0 port.

• Problems mounting the handles and anchors

  I use a Macbook to 2012 with Illustrator CS6. Currently, I can't scale or modify the anchor points by using the Selection tool or the direct Selection tool. This problem just started last night. I think I put something on or off, but I have no way of knowing what. Any ideas?

• problem mounting preimere elements 9 in windows 8

  I installed Adobe Preimere elements 9 on my windows 8 lap top but it freezes and I can't edit anyything. When the video is playing I hear the sound but the video does not change so it does not change. Can it be fixed or do I have a different version.

  I really hate windows 8, but I had no choice that I needed a new computer.

  Try to run the program in compatibility mode Windows 7.

• All options exhausted, need help. Problems mounting GoPro

  The GoPro 3 Silver edition. It is as simple as possible to shoot with and damn nearly impossible to edit with. I'm using Premiere Pro CS4. I tried almost all the possible methods in workflow is particularly StreamClip > save as MP4 codec issues. It does not work. Whenever reading in the PPr, I got some pictures but especially the green screens in the preview and timeline area. Then I tried to use StreamClip > export to >. MOV. AVI... Again not luck. After that, I did some reading more and discovered CineForm. A must have! Right? Evil. CineForm has allowed me to convert the original. MP4 to. AVI (even if it reduces the quality a bit) and played the back perfect CineForm. Loading these clips in Ppr some work for short periods, but essentially they all play back choppy. It's the biggest success I've had, but the change is impossible when the picture freezes every two seconds. PPR is using "draft" quality playback In addition, I tried different presets, after finding that most luck with XDCam HD images. camera is about 50 clips totaling out 1-2 GB of 1080 p 24 fps.

  "Draft" defines the quality of the display in the monitor only. It has nothing to do with your output.

• Problem mounting FMR

  Hi, captivate V4 works on win7. I can't find a way to edit a FMR in a slide. I want to 'trim' bits from the beginning and the end of a FMR, can make the end, just drag it to the left on the timeline, but is unable to make the start. I can't find the 'library' or the catalogue referred to in one of the menus, that according to my research is where I can edit these things blased. Its driving me crazy!

  Please help me...

  Update, found the FMREditor.exe and tried to open it and get error cannot load winhelp.dll of th (last error = 126)

  1. What troubleshooting utility did you use?
  2. When you get the ticking sound?
  3. Is that when you use an application or program?
  4. You get an error message while, key board is not working properly?
  5. What is the brand and model of the computer?

  In the meantime, please follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.

  Corrupted files may be one of the reasons for the system has as many questions together. So, you can try to manually fix the corrupted computer files and check if that helps. Follow the link below to do the same.

  3. Remove the side panel of the cover of your case and do operate the machine with the lid side for 30 to 60 minutes see if the noise subsides. If the noise disappears, your hard drive is probably overheating, causing the noise.

  You try to run the disk check and see if that helps in the setting of these noises and to detect if the hard drive is damaged or not. Follow the steps below to do the same thing:

  Run the disk check to find and fix errors on the disc.

  (a) click Start, type cmd, right-click on cmd , and then click run as administrator.

• Satellite P10: The drive will not burn DVD

  I have a Toshiba Satellite P10 and have just received some photos software, burning
  But my drive will not burn DVD, I try with discs DVD - RW which must work my laptop.
  What is happening is when it comes of the burn on the part of the disk of the process he starts, but it fails.

  I tried to burn it with Nero, but even if I burn OK on any CD discs with this software it will not work on DVD discs. It's really annoying because when the burning process it fails so that it makes the DVD - RW disc seem curupt and then my drive has problems mounting the disc to try a deletion once more.

  I have the Nero log file failed

  What about different DVD media? Have you tested the media DVD-R or DVD + R common?
  Have you tried different brands of DVD?
  I can't give you a properly answer why the drive can't burn your DVD - RW, but to my knowledge not every media is supported by the player.
  So I think you should check different DVDs.

  It seems that the read/write on the printer attribute must be changed.  Use the following steps to change the read/write attribute:

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on
  2. Press the Setup> button.
  3. Use of the the button to select [ device settings], then press the button.
     The device settings screen appears. 
  4. Use of the the button to select [device user settings], then press the button.

  I have install USB key that contains my favorite images of the ISO (MemTest86, Darik Boot and Nuke etc.) and using Grub4DOS I can start my PowerEdge from USB key and select what ISO I want to load.  Very practical instructions how to do it can be found here: http://www.themudcrab.com/acronis_grub4dos.php#tagIntroduction

  I would now add ISO DVD Dell GDPS to this USB key.

  I copied the ISO file in the folder/boot of my key and add the following to the file menu.lst Grub4DOS.

  It successfully allows me to start in the ISO GDPS and I choose to load the "systems build and update utility Dell" in the blue menu.  It was after this point that things are falling apart with a message 'With problems mounting meda Server Assistant' and a continuous message «retry to mount...» ».

  I'm guessing a bit it is a problem with either the way ISO is started through Grub4DOS or if the DVD GDPS the fact is own special method of multiboot with ISOLINUX.

  Has anyone else tried to do this with this method and able to shed some light on the subject?  I would really like to get this working this way with G4D as it would mean the key USB can be updated with a newer version of the GDPS DVD not copying on the new ISO and modifing the menu.lst file.  It is also my intention to eventually have a custom key SUU repository to the updates server really easy.

  BTW - I googled for Dell documentation for some official way put the GDPS image on a bootable USB key but have not found any.

  Installation of wireless coverage (no mesh) outside in a business park. Mounting on the sides of buildings (10 meters from the ground). If 1240AG is used the PA will be mounted inside the building or outside in one envelope, if 1522 used the AP will be mounted outside. Problems mounting are not considered here. The question: is there an advantage to the use of 1522 against 1240AG? Only 2.4 ghz coverage is necessary, the 5 GHz could be used for the redirection in the future. 1522 2.4 ghz power max is 300mW, while 1240AG 2.4 ghz power max is 50 MW. I think that regardless of this difference I suppose always the distance max 300 feet to the customer. Clients are laptops and smartphones.

  I've done both and both have their advantages and disadvantages.  What to watch in your design, is the customer.  What type of customer and how you can match to the top of the record customer than the AP.  When we used a 1522 for wireless coverage, customers had HI output cards that turn off also 200mW and we could make this work and extend coverage where using an internal AP (100mW max) would not provide.  However, the indoor access point has it's pro... especially with normal customers... laptops, iPads, etc..  They are cheaper, but the mounting material can increase the fairly high cost.  With the inside of the AP, you can associate basically TX AP exit with customers.  Required data rate can also be a problem in your choice, so know that customers, you will have WiFi outdoor and rquirements looking, either one can work.
