Problems of application on Weblogic 10 Server deployment

Hello! I'm pretty new on Weblogic 10 and would need some advice.

I use workshop for Weblogic 10 on Windows, and I developed an application made up of the following:

-A stateful EJB
-A web Weblogic Service to receive applications
-A control to allow the web service call methods on the EJB.

The entire project (in an ear file) works perfectly on the local server Weblogic 10 using the 'performance on the server' or 'debug on server ".

However, when I export the ear file, I am unable to deploy it on a separate server Weblogic 10 (this one running on Solaris).

I get the following error: _ [SPI: 260142 deployment J2EE] descriptor to "META-INF/annotation - manifest.xml' in module 'service.war' is not recognized and cannot be parsed." _. My guess is that this is related to controls of hive annotations...

What gives? Shouldn't workshop create a stand-alone file usable by Weblogic 10?

Taking a glance at my EAR file, I notice that it contains no library of hive (among others). It contains all the necessary libraries utility? If so, how can I add them? I see all the pots in my EJB project and on the other side, but they do not follow in the jar/ear files.

I'm stuck! any advice or pointers would be appreciated! Thank you.

Betino is correct, make sure that the domain that you deploy on is activated as a workshop (it installs just the libraries for the Apache Beehive controls and workshop in the field). You can also extend an existing with the workshop model domain. You can see that the libraries are deployed by looking in the console.

    And 3 servers for Hyperion.

You do not have to manually deploy, deploy it to the database server, start the weblogic administration server, deploy to an existing on other servers domain.

I managed to solve the problem of deployment by modifying the deployment under the Application properties configuration:

    1. unselect Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors

2 deselect the credentials under Security Deployment Options

3 deselect users and groups under deployment and Security Options

I think auto generation of weblogic deployment descriptor - jdbc.xml was most probably the origin of the problem.

    Thank you.

  • Deploying applications to weblogic problem

    Hello

We have recently installed weblogic 10.3.1 successfully (the administrator of the server is running, the managed server is running). We now have a problem of deployment of the first application to run on the new platform (I'm deploying this application on the managed server).

We met many class not found errors. The last that we run is:
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.security.jps.ee.http.JpsFilter

This class is not be called by the application that I am trying to deploy.

Is there a place where I can find all of the jar files that weblogic will run with successful applications? Where should I copy these jar files in.

    Thank you

    Khanh

    Hi Khanh,

One last thing, we can try here...

Please place the JAR file in the field of Lib...

    Example: //user_projects/domains/YourDomain/lib

The location of field may be different in your case.

    Thank you

  • Deploying ADF application to a managed server in weblogic - security ADF error

    Hello

Our group wrote an ADF web application, we are trying to deploy on a weblogic managed server. So far, we have succumbed. The application deploys successfully to the AdminServer. Our facility:

WebLogic version is 10.3.0. Domain name is adf_domain. We installed the ADF (ADF version is 11.1.1.0.0), JSTL (1.2.0.1), and the JSF (1.2.7.1) runtime libraries and they are addressing both the server administrator AND managed server called CollabServer. This server communicates with node Manager and you will be able to be started and the console of administration successfully. The AdminServer is on 7101 port, and the CollabServer is on port 7104. We do not use SSL.

As I said, there is no deployment errors when deploying on the management server. However, we still see the following errors when deploying to the managed server:

    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.security.jps.wls.listeners.JpsApplicationLifecycleListener
    etc.

This error occurs when the deployment using the < wldeploy > Ant task included with weblogic and the deployment of the application manually using the administration console.

    So I removed this WebLogic - application.xml:

    <>earpiece
    oracle.security.jps.wls.listeners.JpsApplicationLifecycleListener <-listener class > < / listener class >
    < / earphone >

Who decided the initial error (I guess that there is some sort of bug that causes of workaround is necessary). The following error is the following:

    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.share.security.authentication.AuthenticationServlet

Yet once, we do not get this error when deploying to the AdminServer - ONLY the managed server CollabServer.

    Web.XML:

    ...
    < servlet >
    < name servlet - > adfAuthentication < / servlet-name >
    > the servlet class < oracle.adf.share.security.authentication.AuthenticationServlet < / servlet-class >
    < load-on-startup > 1 < / load-on-startup >
    < / servlet >
    ...
    < servlet-mapping >
    < name servlet - > adfAuthentication < / servlet-name >
    < url-pattern > /adfAuthentication / * < / url-pattern >
    < / servlet-mapping >
    ...

I then added some jars of adf the ear file, finally get this error message:

    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.share.jsp.ADFLibUtils

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thank you.

    Dan,
    Thanks for remind me :-)

Here are the steps we had to take to get a WLS managed to run an adf application without copying any jar in the field/lib directory:

    1. you should always install the adf runtime to any server you want the adf application to deploy on

    2. open the administration console, select the managed server and select the "start server" tab in the settings of trial.

    3. Add

    /u01/bea/patch_wls1030/profiles/default/sys_manifest_classpath/weblogic_patch.jar:/u01/bea/patch_jdev1111/profiles/default/sys_manifest_classpath/weblogic_patch.jar:

the classpath box, you need to change ' / u01/bea /' with your bea home. The classpath must be on a single line without CR/LF, I put in to make it readable.

    4. Add

editing area of the "Arguments". As with the change of calsspath ' / u01/bea ' your home BEA and change the domain name (in our case "naa_qs") to your domain name. change the managementuser and the password to your needs. 5. save the changes and restart the server

Essentially, all that we have copied the arguments of the admin server start script and more to add the path of the class.

Can user, you please tell us your exact Jdev version?

The error message tells you that the server has been started, but is not available under the localhost:7102 of access

The port doesn't look good for me. The built-in Server normally uses port 7101. You can check which port you configured for the server?

You can check this on the "application server" tab and select the built-in server, right-click, and select Properties. In the dialog box, you see the configuration.

  • Soa composite application with managed server deployment

    Hello

I have an admin server and two managed servers; SOAServer and OSBServer.
My requirement is to deploy an application on the managed server that is to say; SOA infra (SOAServer) by EM. But when I connect to the EM console I see SOA-Infra (AdminServer) and allows you to deploy the target server Admin application.
Is it possible to create a SOA-Infra Server SOA or what a change of configuration to do.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Maybe there is a problem when you created the domain...

When I go to EM I see under Farm_soa_domain > SOA > soa-infra (soa_server1), if you see soa-infra (AdminServer), it is not a good sign...

If you go to Farm_soa_domain > Weblogic domain > soa_domain and click right button on the servers you should see "Deploying applications" for each server, but "Deployment SOA" only for the soa server...

Please let me know if this was helpful...

    See you soon,.

  • where the application is stored in the weblogic file after deployment?

Hello, I am beginner of WebLogic Server12C.

I deployed a project of console gui war. However, I can't find where the expansion.

I can find. "" appmergengen folder "and"_WL_user folder"in the tmp folder.

They exploded Archive Directory. However, they are in the tmp folder.

So could you tell me where the application is stored in the weblogic file after deployment?

I find no specific document of the oralce site documents.

The application that you deploy to weblogic may be placed under a folder tmp only under appropriate weblogic server instance i.e. Managed server / Server Admin

It will be cached in the exploded only form and not in WAR or archived form.

    Hope that clarifies!

    Thank you

  • Automated applications on Weblogic deployment

    Hello

I'm studying ways to deploy applications to Java on Weblogic 11 g in an automated way.

I have a few scripts that are pushing an application to Weblogic from a local computer. This is achieved by running Java and calling the weblogic. Deployer class in wlfullclient.jar and works OK: I can deploy, cancel the deployment and redeployment of the application.

My question: is it possible to do the reverse? Learn to run a script on the Weblogic Server that captures the application on a remote server, copy and deploy it? If nothing else, it would mean that I could avoid writing clumsy batch files...

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    I found a few alternatives:

    (1) use weblogic. The Deployment Manager on the server Weblogic (of the sort that the administrator of the server is local) and get the artifact from a remote machine;

    (2) using WLST scripts ability to do the same thing, that is run on the WebLogic Server and get the artifact from a remote machine.

  • How can I determine in Java running local or weblogic server deployment

    Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0

I need to determine in my Java code, if I run my application locally (JDeveloper/Weblogic) or if the application runs on a Weblogic Server deployed. The code will be used to determine where to place the files in the test on PC the verses where to place the files when they are deployed. For example (c:\temp or/usr2/download).

    Thank you
    Troy

    Hello

well one way is to identify using weblogic here system properties is the example to get the name of application weblogic managed server that runs in java http://www.baigzeeshan.com/2011/11/oracle-adf-how-to-get-managed-server.html

check out other properties like http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs90/config_scripting/config_WLS.html#1019588 well

  • Can deploy you forms 10g to a different application other than iAS Server

    Hello

We use Forms 10 g & reports with iAS and g 10 DB.

Licensing costs make our products less competitive compared to our competitors who operate all to open source alternatives.

You can deploy the fmx/RDF files to something other than iAS as we do use the many features of iAS offer. We only need an application server of basic with reoports Server deployment.

F & R costs are really make us and looking long term I don't see forms in the future of many small businesses like ours

I'm forwar to hear peoples comments

    No, you can not
Forms and reports can only be deployed on the report server and forms included in oracle application server and oracle fusion middleware 11g
You can ask oracle to manage buy offering this suggestion to give ronald using this link
What new features would you like to see on Oracle Forms?

  • "404" error when running ADF Applications using Weblogic / OAM / Webtier

    Hi Experts,

Our organization works on the implementation of Weblogic 10.3.5 on HP - UX 11.31 / PA RISC hardware.

All is well enough to work, but we met a particular hurdle and I hope I can get some advice from people here in the forums.

We have virtual hosts within the Weblogic web layer for different areas. We also have Oracle Access Manager configured to protect some web resources (to force the user to authenticate to access the page). Each virtual host is configured to use the https protocol, and we have SSL certificates installed.

The problem arises when trying to deploy an ADF application for weblogic, then run it through one of these virtual servers. We want these applications to use https only. Mod_wl_ohs has also been configured to forward requests to the web layer weblogic.

App deploys fine, and when you try to access the app, we are redirected to a login page by OAM, which is what we want. However, when the application starts to run, it seems that ADF is adding to the URL query parameters, and when he does this, redirecting to https, which causes a 404 error. If you manually add the 's' on the URL, the application loads and works very well.

    For example:
Say the url of our application is
    https://foo.mydomain.com/MyApp/faces/search
Navigate to this url redirects to the login page. After the connection, we headed over to something like this (the actual settings vary):
    http://foo.mydomain.com/MyApp/faces/search?_afrLoop=7078069345015890 & _afrWindowMode = 0 & _adf. CTRL-State = yvpch8hdh_4
    .. which returns a 404 error.
If put us the 's' on the url, it works as expected.

Why is this happening? Why is redirect to the login page staying is not in https?

To facilitate debugging, we created a very simple jsp page that was not developed using ADF, and deployed in a similar way, and he remained in https after redirection from the login page.

Is this a specific problem ADF? Is something that needs to be configured in the ear file deployment of JDeveloper?

Any advice would be much appreciated...

    Hello

It seems that you use any porxy between the two.

    Please activate weblogicplugin activated under

    Server--> --> configuration--> advance.

Enable this option and try to restart the server again.

    Kind regards
    Kal
