Used cable comes with the phone and is plugged into my laptop (I know very risky) and hey presto on the phone was OK, so was the USB cable so that the fault was the charger plug! Jack was OK as my other half is an electrician and he said that the outlet was OK also. I am waiting for a new charger be delivered by Royal mail while I'm typing this. A lot of people who have this phone have the same problem? I was just lucky that I was able to disconnect immediately without any damage to the phone thanks to God.

  Yes, the tat is thought too. Generally use a surge protected socket but used a regular wall outlet this day there without thought. My husband is an electrician and was told that the used was ok, the USB cable was ok, but the damage has been done to the charger and saved the phone thank God! My other half, with my permission opened the charger and one of the items was burned and stank! Have since been replaced charger and had a free USB cable included in the package that I'll keep it as a spare.

  See, normally any battery charge lasts for 1-2 days BB (depending on use)...

  N keep press the BB button pressed for 2 seconds, this will show the apps running in the background... r normally apps like home, identified calls, browser, BBM n Messages should be there, not to mention that these if there are all the other apps, close them... Applications running in the background consume battery...
