problems printing on Lexmark C532dn PDF documents

I have a Lexmark C532dn on Windows 7 64 bit printer. When I open a pdf file and send it to print I get a large box on my screen, but no option so I can't print. I can say a PDF file to print in a right click on the file name and choosing print but it gives me no printing options. I have two printer drivers for the printer: Lexmark universal v2 PS3 and the C532PS of Lexmark (MS) and both give the same result. I have no problems printing anything else.

I moved your post, that was off-topic for Microsoft answers feedback forum, the Forum 'Hardware and drivers' Windows 7, because your problem resembles a driver for me problem.  This PDF reader do you use?

    Hello @Tbot,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject. Now, because only happens this problem of printing PDF Adobe Reader XI and other devices connected to your printer can print PDFS very well, I think the problem you are experiencing is located in your specific version of the XI Adobe on your computer. I get you to change certain settings Adobe below to check if this problem can be solved.

Step 1: Disable the "enhanced security" setting Adobe XI:

    1. Open Adobe
    2. Click Edit at the top
    3. Click on Preferences
    4. ' Click on 'Security Enhanced "(Protected Mode) and ensure that this feature is disabled
    5. Restart Adobe

Now test again to print a PDF file. If the problem persists, please continue to the next step.

Step 2: Print as an Image:

    1. Open your PDF file
    2. Click file and print
    3. "In the print dialog box, click the Advanced button and choose 'Print as Image '

Please try to print. Proceed to the next step if the problem is still involved.

    Step 3: Check the updates:

To check if Adobe updates have been released to correct printing problems, please follow the steps below.

    1. Open Adobe
    2. Click on Help
    3. Select Check for Updates
    4. If a new update is available, please leave the install

Try again to print a PDF file.

Still, because everything prints fine from your system with the exception of PDF files in Adobe, it's a problem with the program Adobe itself. If you wish, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe on your computer.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 has Premium - problem with printing PDF documents

My boss has the printer/HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premium has in his office. He had problems with the printing of PDF documents. As a general rule, what print is either unintelligible or will have a black line at the top of many pages, even if it's just a 1 page document. No problems printing on other types of documents, only the PDF files. Is it possible to fix this? Thank you!

Try the following setting and let me know any changes:

Adobe Reader, launch the dialogue of the printer.

Click on Advanced Options at the bottom of the dialog box.

Check the Print as Image checkmart.

Click OK to approve and try to print

First of all, you must realize that truly control information is not a realistic proposition. People can photograph their screen, for example. Assuming that you accept the weaknesses, maybe the DRM is a possibility, although it sounds as if you need several administrators full time. Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management is a solution Adobe DRM generally used as part of a policy of control of company data - not ad hoc to solve simple problems - and usually something to get buy-in to the level of the Board of Directors.

    Hi kaycee47,

Thank you for the information.  If you are not familiar with the registry to work, I strongly encourage you to contact the manufacturer of PC or Microsoft (Windows) to solve the problem.  Make changes in the registry requires particular care, because a change inadvertently bad keys can cause irreversible damage. However, I'm not familiar with Dell or Microsoft support policy or procedures, so I can't guarantee assistance.  I need a little more information with regard to the question of Adobe, please refer below.

    Necessary information:

All printers appear when I try to print a PDF file?

    Adobe is up to date?

    For the installation of PCL5/PCL6

    1. follow the steps in the link provided in the previous post

    2. Select HP as manufacturer

    3. Select HP PCL5 to universal print or PCL6 (check the current driver, it must be displayed near the name of printer or print file print properties)

    4. Select the AC driver based on what is currently installed

    5. once it is installed, the generic driver can be selected when the print command is sent

    I hope this helps!

  • LaserJet Pro M426fdw: Problems with printing of pdf documents

Whenever I try to print PDFs in duplex (although occasionally same problem print one page) the first page does not print and on the pages that follow, most of the lines are blackened the right edge in towards the middle of the page.  I didn't notice the problem with documents in other formats, but I always have problems with pdf files, and I have no problem, print the pdf to my other printers.

Do other normal Duplexes of programs (word, etc.)?

If so, it sounds Adobe specific, otherwise I would reinstall the printer driver.

Note that this does not occur with each PDF, some.  I was not able to find a common denominator between those who print correctly without any problem and those who are not.

  • How to get around the problem of printing from the printer driver Adobe PDF for Notepad instead of a PDF Document?

How to get around the problem of printing from the printer driver Adobe PDF for Notepad instead of a PDF Document? I tried the tool 'Repair Acrobat Installation' and other problems listed on the forums, but nothing worked. In the Notepad document is the following ' % [ProductName: distill] % X937B6DD4 not found, using the mail service.» X07BB154E not found, by using the messaging service. % [Page: 1] %% % [Page: 2] % % [Page: 3] % % [Page: 4] % % [Page: 5] % X4EEBB81F not found, by using the messaging service. %% [Error: invalidfont;] OffendingCommand: show; ErrorInfo: CharOffsets ss %% [Flushing: rest of work (end of file) will be ignored] %% %% [warning: PostScript error.] No PDF file produced. ] %%."

The log file indicates that the Distiller cannot find fonts and besides, fonts with very weird names. (These names can often appear when printing from an application, WPF such as Internet Explorer 9, 10 or 11.)

My best guess is that the problem is with the options set for the PostScript of PDF from Adobe printer driver instance. Exit the application you were initially impression since. Open the Adobe PDF printer Properties . Then click the Advanced tab. Then click on the button default printing . This should produce a significant window default print Adobe PDF is already opened in the Adobe PDF settings tab. On this tab, there is a checkbox to rely on system only fonts; do not use fonts in the document. If this box is checked, uncheck it and press apply , then OK. Then go to the general tab and press the button Preferences giving the window entitled Adobe PDF printing preferences. Again once, look for the box to rely on system only fonts; do not use document fonts. If this box is checked, uncheck it and press apply , then OK. Then back in the Adobe PDF Properties dialog box main, press apply (if it is enabled), and then click OK. Re-enter the app you were original print and try to print again. Let us know if that fixes the problem.

PS: Unfortunately, rely on fonts system only turned on by default, causing problems for many applications. I always recommend turning it off (i.e., unchecking it)!

Of the Adobe Reader print dialog box, click the printer downstairs

Click on the last selection box and select layout, you will see the duplex option

In the same selection, select paper handaling to assign to assemble
