  It seems to be a download error.

  Please try following steps

  (1) close adobe every process in activity monitor (creative cloud, sync Core, CC library, services for the desktop application adobe, adobe office, broker CIB Adobe updater AAM service)

  (2) download acrobat pro DC using following link for Mac products download Adobe Acrobat | Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X

  (3) install the downloaded installer.

  (4) start acrobat and creative cloud app and it should work fine

  I have a laptop Sony Vaio with windows 7, I probably removed my Acrobat Reader that came with my system by accident, but it seems not as simple as that. When a pdf page is trying to open, it displays a black box , said the invalid image. I went on the Adobe website to download acrobat reader, he won't even be in the game to run or save the download. I tried to download all variants of the Adobe Reader software, I've allowed cookies etc...
