Problems to open a PDF in Chrome, since I've upgraded to acrobat reader dc

I was unable to open a file using Chrome since I upgraded from drive to drive DC XI. Instead of opening the file in Chrome, he wants that I save the file on my hard drive where I can then open it using the CD player.

This applies to both my PC of Windows 8.1.

I CAN always open a PDF from Internet Explorer and Firefox.

From Chrome 42, NPAPI as Adobe Reader plugins no longer works or shown on the chrome://plugins page.

http://www.chromium.org/developers/NPAPI-deprecation

The chrome team decided to withdraw the support of plugins like Adobe Reader NPAPI. Here is a blog that describes their decision - http://blog.chromium.org/2014/11/the-final-countdown-for-npapi.html

To view the PDF files in Adobe Acrobat Reader ms, we recommend that you download the file in Chrome and open your desktop.

  • Cannot open the PDF in Chrome, impossible to open the standalone player, cannot accept the EULA, etc..

    I use a Mac.

I try to open a PDF in Chrome - I open it fine in Adobe Reader if I download it. When I open it in Chrome, I get the message I have to accept the EULA and revive to open the PDF in Chrome.

I reinstalled Adobe, restarted Chrome and it works fine in Safari.

When I go to the applications folder and try to open Adobe Reader (which is different from opening a PDF file I recorded on my Mac). The menu bar appears but is not the "Adobe" "empty" file - nothing happens but the menu bar.

I searched all the stinking forums and nothing seems to work. It seems to be a persistent problem dealing with simple workarounds.

For example, I tried: Version of Adobe Reader X 10.1.3 - cannot open a PDF in the browser... - does not work

How can I get Reader to open on its own and accept the EULA?

    First remove the following files:

    (i) adobe Reader of / application

(II) in the folder/Library/Internet Plug - Ins:

    (1) AdobePDFViewer.plugin

    (2) AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

    (III) from ~/Library/Caches

    (1) com.adobe. *.

Now reinstall Adobe Reader. And launch the reader Application. Here come the EULA. Accept that and now you will be able to open PDFS in Safari.

Chrome is a browser not supported for Reader/Acrobat. You can check this in the Adobe release notes.

  • "Camera in PDF format" several images at once using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC mobile app iPad verson?

    Hello

It is possible to create a page of several PDF from images uses the 'Camera to PDF' function in the iPad version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? I tried and failed, but wasn't sure if I missed something? If it is not possible there's no known workaround workaround for this?

    Thank you

    Hi Sean,.

I'm afraid, but we have not any direct option to create multi page PDF file using 'Camera in PDF format. As I have solution that we can do is create PDF files using camera option which will create PDF files and record them on your Document Cloud storage.

Then, you can use the Web of the DC interface by going to cloud.acrobat.com and use handset feature multi page PDF of the PDF files created using the camera feature.

I would like to know if it is useful.

    Thank you

  • I just upgraded to Acrobat Reader DC and I am unable to take a snapshot of a PDF and paste it on another PDF file

I just upgraded to Acrobat Reader DC and I am unable to take a snapshot of a PDF and paste it on another PDF file, I have to paste in word and then to the PDF, it becomes blurry this way and also has a lot of text in blue instead of black in the picture.  Is there a way I can copy a PDF file and paste it on another PDF file?

Or is there a way of reversing this adobe to the previous version?

The files are not locked or the other and I tried the guide help without success.

    Hi olir74691516,

Everything sticking the snapshot of one PDF on the other we add a layer to the PDF document that you paste the snapshot. You cannot copy & paste in the player of free application, you will need Acrobat application for her.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot open PDF attachments since the upgrade to Acrobat Reader DC

I was recently invited to upgrade my Adobe Reader software to the latest version: Adobe Reader DC. Since that I can more open parts attached PDF received emails. I wish I had not updated Adobe Reader - last time I did, I also had problems and had to uninstall the update and reinstall an earlier version.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have attached a screenshot to illustrate what is happening when I either double-click the piece attached or right-click and select 'open '.

    Thank you, James.

Check that Thunderbird knows the correct program to use.
Tools > Options > Annexes > Incoming tab

    Content type: Adobe Acrobat Document
To the right is going to be action - click action see a drop down.
See if there is a specific mention of using "Adobe Reader DC".
I know that 'use Adobe Reader' is used for older versions of Adobe Reader DC.

Click on 'Other use' to see a more extensive list of options.
If you still can't find, click 'Browse '.
Then you can locate the *.exe to adobe specific dc and click Open
    Click on 'OK's.

Test again open a pdf document.

  • Problems to open the PDF files created on a PC on a MAC

    Hello

Im having issues when I PDF a Word from the Microsoft Office 2010 document. When I opened the pdf file after that is very well and when I send email to other users of PC, it is fine. The problem arises when I send the PDF file to a MAC user and they view the file. The text becomes black lines. The lines are also still visible when they print the document.  I'm using acrobat 9 pro. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks for your help

I was converting a doc MS word to PDF 2010.  I think I found a good solution.  When you save the PDF file, I chose the 'options' and check the box under PDF options for "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A).  I tried to access this file last updated from my iPad and is no longer the text displayed as black lines.  He did, however, increase the size of the file a little... I think it's due to embedding the fonts?  In any case, it seems to work now :-)

  • Problem by opening a pdf url in a BrowserField of an application.

    Feature: 9530 (Simulator)

    Device and App OS: 5.0

    BES version: 4.1.7.18

    Device Manager: 5.0.1.20

    Desktop Manager: 5.0.1

I need to open files PDF url my request. Initially, I discovered that a normal MDS Simulator will not open a PDF in a BlackBerry Simulator

and I need a BES for this, so I installed BES and after a lot of turning around, I managed to do the work. From now on, I can open the url of the pdf and all the other URLS in the native browser of my Blackberry Simulator. But when I try to open the pdf from an application url by using a browserField it does not.

I tried to use the simple browserField sample provided with the API

    Much obliged.

The field of browser does not support the rendering of PDF files.  There is no API in the set of BlackBerry APIs that allow you to programmatically display one PDF other then opening the BlackBerry browser the URL of your PDF file, which must point to a web server.

Everything seems to be updated, but when I click to open the PDF file, it gives the error that I need to install 'Flash Player who takes responsibility for Adobe Reader'.  He asked then go to download page to install, but it does not 8.1 installation as it is said that it is a party, the updates.  What am I mising?  I went through all the adobe programs and all indicate that the programs have already been installed and are up to date.

Please contact Microsoft Community. I understand that you have a problem with opening the programs of text and pictures after the computer upgrade to Windows 8. I appreciate your efforts to solve this problem, I'll probably help you solve this problem.

Google Chrome will be available during the download. Simply uncheck the box when you see it.

  • Cannot open the PDF in Chrome

    What am I doing here?

I must say, Adobe has WORLD CLASS HORRIBLE customer service. It takes too much time to understand.

Thanks for anyone who can help!

    # Chrome is one that is not compatible.

You can always save the file to your desktop and open it using file > open in the reader.

To set this work in other browsers, try the suggestions here: browser using Adobe Acrobat PDF plugin
