  After I've added keywords, adjustments and saved the files on a DVD, I then use Windows Explorer to move the directories (09 05 05, etc.) Player of Photoshop to another dedicated drive, I called the Lightroom disk and place them in a folder for the year: 2003, 2004... until 2009.

  So 2009 will be named subfolders inside folder: 09 05 12, 09 08 15, etc.

  I do not use the Import of Images from Lightroom. Instead, once files are moved to the drive of lightroom, I tell lightroom to synchronize the folder 2009. This is all new folders, I added in the 2009 folder, the files in them and adds the keywords that I added to each image in Bridge.

But clearly the two keywords (which affected nearly 1,000 images) come from somewhere but I can't find out where. There seems to be no obvious other place to specify default keywords in Lightroom.

  Is there a keywords field in the import dialog box. It is sticky, it will continue to add these keywords until you turn it off on a successful import.

  I have problems with the synchronization of files up to the cloud. In the desktop application it is written "all files updated", but in the folder, none of the files have green ticks. Research on the web app, it seems that the files are not updated.

  I'm sorry that you get at least a perfect experience and feel us your pain.  There is something, you can try:

  1. Make a backup of your file to create Cloud Files to another location on your desktop
  2. In the activity stop monitor the following processes:
     1. Creative cloud
     2. Service Office of Adobe
     3. CCLibrary
     4. CoreSync
  3. In terminal, navigate as follows: cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync
  4. Delete the following files:
     1. .DB
     2. .DB - shm
     3. .DB - wal
  5. Restart the creative cloud

Any suggestions?

  I'm under ESXi 5.0 and miss me the vmx file descriptor of a particular virtual machine.

  I was able to recreate the disk descriptor file and attach it to a new VM created with the same characteristics as the former.

  It will start, the only problem is that the disc does not contain the latest data from the snapshot. So it is pretty useless now.

  So my question is: what steps should I follow (and when) to merge the Flash disk with a parent?

  I have a backup of the vmdk unmodified and the snapshot files listed above.

  I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

  Sources: lack vmx and vmware.log file and VMware KB: Re-create a missing virtual machine disk descriptor file

  Welcome to the community,

  snapshots are used in channels, i.e. you must re-create the instant string for each of the two virtual drives (see attached hard files) and make sure the .vmx file points to the latest snapshots.

  An easy way to recover would be to create a new virtual machine with the VM current name "TS1" and two virtual disks (virtual disks size doesn't really count) and create a snapshot. Then replace the hard the new virtual machine with the file descriptor files in the attachment of this post and the hard delta/flat files.

  If you want to do differently - that is with manually editing the virtual machine's .vmx file - make sure you relaod the configuration after editing the file (seehttp://kb.vmware.com/kb/1026043)

  I have creative cloud membership and I am working on a new MacBook Pro running the Mavericks. The creative Cloud desktop application is installed. Applications CC synchronize and update sync normally, TypeKit fonts without a problem, and I can access the market without problem. However, when I try to enable the synchronization of files, I can't see either spinning loader Ajax, or the screen just flashes and nothing happens. I drilled down in preferences to enable synchronization of files and manually activated it. However, when I navigate to the Finder, there is still no current record, and re-opening of the preferences in the creative application cloud reveals that synchronization file returns under the name 'Off '.

  I can log into the Web site and download files without problem, but it is a lower quality solution. Please tell us which could prevent synchronization of files of operation through the desktop computer.

  The links provided above provided no resolution of the issue, but did lead me to the link that did. The issue was that the path to the local folder was missing form the configuration file, which needed to be removed (I guess so he can be regenerated). Support the article is here. Works like a charm now.
