problems with DP in a new U2713H

I just bought a U2713H monitor, plugged into my workstation Precision t3500 with the cable provided in RFP and received a message in the sense of "no DVI signal, going to power save mode in 5 min.

I then connected with a DVI cable and it worked immediately. But because I would use DP instead, I went to the menu screen and set the entry on DP and connected the cable from DP, but even once, I received a message, this time "no DP signal will register mode 5.

I do something wrong or should I assume that the monitor is defective?

I would like to ask you can check with another Display Port cable, if the problem persists.

In case the problem persists, perform a reset of the monitor in the OSD menu and then try to put the input Source for Display Port and check if that helps.

It switches immediately to Imessaging which of course, again use my data plan. Of course, I could use some help with this. BTW, my text messaging service is connected to my phone number and not my email. Who was one of the suggestions that support Apple told me to check. Never in my life have had so many problems with a phone since I bought this iphone 6 s.

    SMS is a function of the carrier, you will need to contact your cell phone provider and see what is the matter.

    IMessage uses very little data.

    I have a Photosmart C4480 all-in-One printer/scanner/copier.  Since getting my new laptop, I have problems with the analysis feature.  I installed the software CD, and think I have downloaded the drivers for this printer.

    I've found a workaround.  If I used Windows software to scan, it works correctly.  It works just not when I use the button on the printer itself.

  • Problem with MAC pinning and new VLAN

    Hi all, I have a working of the UCS 1.4 configuration (3i) and the Nexus 1000V 1.4 and according to best practices guide uses "channel-group auto on mac - pinning mode" on the uplink of Nexus. I have a problem when you add a new VLAN in this environment, and it is a reproducible problem in two different facilities.

    I pass by the VLAN usual creation process on the Nexus, the network upstream and within the UCS himself. I create new port vethernet profile and set it as an access port in the new VIRTUAL LAN. However when I join a VM (existing or new) to this new port vethernet profile in vCentre virtual machine cannot communicate with anything. However, if I disable MAC pinning with 'no channel-group auto on mac - pinning mode', the virtual machine will start instantly talk to the outside world and the new VIRTUAL LAN is running. Can I turn MAC pinning back once again, and everything continues to work.

    So the question is, is this normal or is there a problem? MAC the Θtiquetage has a brief interruption of the uplink, so is not a viable long-term customer solution when they want to add new VLAN. Is it possible to add new VLANS in this scenario without any unavailability of the network, but brief?

    Symptom: New MAC address is not learn on vem in the l2 table even though the mac address table is not overflow yet. vemcmd show l2-emergency-aging-stats | grep "Number of entries that could not be inserted:" will show extreme large number. Conditions: Nexus1000v VEM running on SV1.4 release. There are two CPU cores on the host. This issue may happen at race condition. Workaround: Reboot the ESX/ESXi host. 

    This problem is corrected in the 1. 4A release.

  • Problem with slides on the new Captivate 8 model objects

    Hi all

    Recently, when I created a new project model of slide objects are all too big to slide, no matter which project to choose.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the product several times and deleted all the files about the problem but I still can't get it to work.

    You can see here that the objects are all larger than the slide behind it, which leads to the items ending on the side when projects are published and in preview.

    When I try to do a sensitive issue I get the opposite problem with the objects being much too small as shown here

    "All files"? Are you sure that you deleted the Layouts folder in public documents and updated the Preferences folder? The screenshot shows one of the default themes, you have customized this theme? It happens with all the themes?

    I am relatively new to this program so I could be overlooking something, but I'm sure I was as complete as possible with it. Every time without fail I have my bounding box invisible sent to the back layer more remote with no border or background, then drag it to my Swatches palette, that nothing is happening. I can drag in the symbols but that's all, nothing happens. Maybe is something that these tutorials have missed? Or I have to (I'll try and make as much sense here as possible) cut and remove all the model outside of the rectangle enclosing invisible (which I sent to the farthest back layer) and group them before dragging them from the palette of nuance? I use Illustrator CS3 if that helps at all.

    Any help would be much appreciated, it's driving me crazy

    This be added to your new swatches so quickly that you don't notice yet it is at the bottom of your color chart (scroll down).

    Looks like your boss is tracks filled with a gradient, so if this is the case you will not any offending items. Do a test by drawing a shape(eg: star) and this dragging to the Swatches palette, if it creates a mosaic of model that you probably have a faulty element within your original selection (for example: linked picture)...

    I would like also in color chart context menu choose > select unused nuances and delete those, so your progress can be better monitored.

  • Problems with connecting fiber and new router AirPort

    I installed the fiber optic connection to replace my cable modem connection... I have a network of airport for a long time. When I bridge router ISP in my airport network that there are multiple problems. The major is that when you plug the ethernet cable from the modem ISP Ethernet port on the WAN of Timecapsule port all the TC LAN ports go dead. (the ISP's modem has already a cable ethernet in the WAN port or the first port that comes from the optical network Terminal that the fiber optic cable to connect from the outside). I talked to the ISP and they say just use any ethernet port to connect to the WAN port on the TC. On their end, they say everything is connected and works... then it's the Apple... I bought a new TC and changed my ethernet cables, but all I can establish is a wireless network. My network is itinerant and all of my extremes are connected with cables, but all on my main TC LAN ports are dead. I rebuilt my network and the same problem... And I think that the culprit is ports LAN TC is off

    Unfortunately, Apple has designed their routers airport to work with a standard cable and DSL type connections. The fiber is a whole new game ball, and Apple has not yet learned the rules of the game, so you may or may not have a really hard question.

    When you plug the ethernet cable from the modem ISP Ethernet port on the WAN of Timecapsule port all the TC LAN ports go dead.

    Before you connected to the fiber "modem" Time Capsule, did first reset you back to default settings... and then... set up again I hope to work with the fiber optic router?

    If this isn't the case, you need to do whenever you change providers or the modem that the Time Capsule connects to.

    All other devices that might be connected to the time Capsule should be turned off and unplugged.

    Then, if the time Capsule can be configured to work with the "modem" fiber, you can connect devices to the time Capsule one at a time to ensure that each of them is working before connect you to the other.  It may be necessary to reconfigure some or all devices that are connected to the time Capsule so that everything works again.

    Bottom line here... get the time Capsule working first with the "to modem" fibers.  Then start to add other devices to time Capsule one at a time.

    I bought a new Toshiba Satellite L655-1FO before 5 days, I have install all the driver on XP one my sound work ok, but today I connect my headset and I didn t hear sounds like the music, just a few scratches sound and when I disconnect my helmet, there is no more sound from my PC.

    I restarted but the problem remains. What's happen with my pc, is it broken?
    I need to know because I have 7 days to save it and get new ones or get in touch with the service?

    You must understand that no one here can say with certainty whether or not something is broken. We just speculate what may be the problem.

    I recommend you to install Windows XP Home edition once more to see if this problem will be solved. Otherwise, contact your local dealer and ask for replacement.

    In the headphone port, there is little switch that turn off internal speakers when external speakers are connected. Maybe this switch stuck somehow. Who knows?

    I'm new here so I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I tried to look for this subject but nothing similar has come so I decided to create this.

    I have a HP Pavilion DV7-1020ea, which came with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 - bit installed and a recovery disk that was on the D: partition, but no real recovery disc/DVD.

    This laptop has had a hard drive failure lately, so I replaced it with a new hard drive cool (320GB, same accompanying).

    The new drive as you probably already know is fresh and it does not all partitions or any information, so without recovery of D: partition.

    I need to mention that the phone was fully functional, keyboard, touchpad, and quicklaunch worked correctly.

    I have some experience with computers, so I know how to recover, set up the startup in the bios etc.

    I tried to install Windows XP Professional 32-bit and Windows Vista Home Premium 32 - bit on my laptop but I found out that the DVD drive makes a funny (not damaged or broken), as a lack of sound recognition. The two systems of Windows are original, and I have a license for them.

    Its different when I try to install WIndows 7, the DVDs are recognized immediately. All system disks work on other computers and work quite correctly. The portable disk drive is not damaged.

    The only thing I saw was: No. Bootable Device (3FO)

    I didn't know what to do so I handed the laptop to an expert.

    When I arrived at my computer back, the computer had Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit installed, but the problem was that quick launch buttons, keyboard and Trackpad was not working. The only way to use the computer was to plug in an external keyboard and mouse which is not a solution.

    -The keyboard not working outside not BIOS, press No button in text fields do not work. The only functions that worked were when I pressed fn + f8 to make the screen brighter and oddly enough, it worked, so when I pressed the keyboard caps lock, caps lock lights on the laptop keyboard as well.

    -The touchpad itself does not, the keypad or buttons. The only thing that works is the light that changes when I press the button disable from white to red, and then from red to white.

    -The quicklounch does not work. The works of power button (turn on the laptop since it is a button) but the led behind it does not work. For speaker and Wifi light is always red (off) and even when I touch it, it will turn blue/white. The rest has a white light behind her, but does not work.

    I also noticed that when I go into the BIOS, the bios is absolutely slow. It takes about 30 seconds to react when I press the buttons on the right, but also it does not react sometimes and it's like in all sections (but it works for keyboard).

    Later, I went to the Device Manager and discovered that there are 3 basic system devices that are not installed. I tried to install by searching online and locally, but no drivers were found.

    All devices have "the drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)" and the drivers can be found online or on-site.

I also went on the official site of HP to download the drivers for quicklaunch to my computer, keyboard and mouse, put up-to-date, did not work.

    I also tried to put in the DVD of Vista and XP DVD to see if the computer is able too see them at all, but when I went to my computer and looked at the DVD player, it says "Insert disc in drive E:." so none of them have been recognized by the computer.

    I don't like Windows 7 and I would really like to have my laptop runs on my old system which is Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit with keys on keyboard, keypad, tactile and functional quicklaunch.

    Could you help me then install the Vista drivers or to solve this problem?

    Hi, I have build a vi that writes data measured for each second of the file. This vi will be used for the acquisition of long-term data and I want to write the data to a separate file every day, else the file becomes

    very large. The vi is supposed to work like this, first set the folder to save it and then start logging with the "datalogon" button, first write the column names in the file and after that write data

    every second. If the date is the same newspaper, data, if the date is not the same write the new file name, write the column headers and write the data again every second. The date is used as the file name.

    This work is quite good only at the beginning of the vi I get the message "error 1 occurred open/create/replace the file writable spreadsheet String.vi-> write to the spreadsheet (string) .vi-> NHR file -

    I made the change you mentioned and to my surprise I got the error message and also, with the vi you sent, I took look at it and found that:

    -If I first enter the "folder to save the file', then run the vi and then press on the" data connect "I don't get the error.

    -If I first run the vi, then enter the folder ' save file to "and the hit" the data log on ' I get the error.

    I also tried with the vi original (without the connection shiftregister in the case of false and init for removal) and which gives the same result as above. If I get the

    error message and choose stop the vi, start the vi again once I don't get the error because the folder in which the file is entered. This issue appears only when there is no file «»

    to save the file "in the dialog box.

    While I'm writing this I realize that "folder to save the file" is outside the while loop so only executed at the start of the vi is maybe I have to put it inside the while loop? A tried

    This and at first, it seems that the problem is solved, I don't get the error message on my screen, but it still appears on the error handler in another part of the vi (visa series).

  • audio problems with Skype/windows 7 / new dell vostro__

    have you tried Skype and video chat in gmail and have no sound in both directions.  Skype said microphone and the speakers are working correctly.

    have tested the built in camera/microphone in this new operating system windows 7 dell vostro and they work fine.  Played the music sample on the computer and the sound work great.

    been all over their audio settings help and nothing works - help me please, I want to hear and talk to my grandchildren.

    We recommend you to check if the mix parameters for the applications you use are activated. To do this, try the following steps.
    Step 1: Turn on the mixer for running applications settings
    a. launch Gmail or Skype video chat.
    b. click on the volume icon in the taskbar.
    c. click mixer.
    d. under Applications, select that is to reactivate the sound for all running applications.
    e. check if the problem persists.

  • TMS 14.2 problems with the planning of new conferences

    yesterday, we made a mistake. We have upgraded to 14.2 TMS. :-D

    The Smart client scheduling is...!

    So we need to use the normal 'new conference' Web page.

    But when someone klicks on the calendar to select a date, nothing happens.

    We use here the IE 9.

    It works with Firefox, Safari, IE 8, but not with IE9.

    Who has this problem too? Is there a fix for this Bug?

    Our workaround is to type the date manually.
