  If you already have a warning on the internal HARD disk before Windows starts I would recommend sharing it and backup all data as quickly as possible.

  Is your laptop still under warranty?

  I test with windows 2012, and 2008R2 to check if its working but in install I don't see also hard drive or the RAID array.
  I go to Cisco and download the driver of the 2G for VMware Linux and Windows.

  For what I understand, you use the RAID controller integrated, therefore, these drivers will not work you:

• Windows problem with hard drive changed from IDE to SATA connection.

  After a full rebuild (new MB, CPU, graphics and RAM) and install the new copy of Windows 7 Home, everything is great, until I try to connect an additional internal HDD. The boot and then crashes to the windows logo. Additional HARD drive is SATA, but it has already been used on an IDE connection.

  The bios recognizes the drive, but obviously, there's some kind of conflict in Windows (I think the reader can contain a backup of the previous generation system).

  You say sata drive but used on a connector IDE does that mean you are using a cable converter, because the type of interface is completely different, or do you just mean the parameter for the connection of the bios?

  OK so a little history first: I decided to upgrade my windows 7 32 bit to windows 7 64 bit. I copied my entire C drive and D drive on an external hard drive and put it on the Cd for windows 7 64.   Step 1.  start by using the windows installation disc 7, press SHIFT + F10 when the language pop up page, use the diskpart... command to remove the system reserved partition. and turn off the computer.

  Step 2.  Open the computer case and unplug the 3 TB hd of the motherboard by unplug the SATA her cable.

  Step 3.  Re-install windows 7, turn off the computer when done

  Step 4.  re - connect the 3 TB - DD and closed the case and power on the computer

  Step 5.  Disk management can use GPT disk.

  A lot of work, but finally did.

  If you get this message the HD IS a FAILURE.  Back up data until it's too late.  The fact that it works in an enclosure means nothing.
