  After acquiring a new iMac, I noticed a problem with the Finder - files and folders are displayed wrong (see table).

  This is what happens always after the files have been transferred from one folder to another. I was reminded of my days of using Mac OS in the 1980s when automatic setting of files was not so "automatic." I use Mac OS for decades and I don't remember the last time I had to think about GUI problems like that.

  Other problems in the graphical display of files and folders were introduced, such as when you have hundreds of files in a single folder, you end up deleting about 30 to 40 of them say in a particular section, and you end up with gaps of the ChartSpace where files used to be, that is the remaining files automatically rearrange themselves (fill in these gaps) - never. A week later, you open the folder, and the gap of GUI is still there.

  I decided to do a clean install of the operating system but nothing works.

  Is there some setting in Prefs I'm missing?

  Looks like your folder icons are not accommodating themselves automatically you plan to do. To me, this indicates that you have organize by the None value in the view menu. You can change the way files and folders are prepared automatically by clicking on view > reorganize by and selecting how you would like that fixed.

  I use LV 2009 SP1 Professional Development Suite on Windows Seven and I have a problem with the executable files, a problem that I have ever found with other versions of LV (8.x, for example) and I'm a little surprised...

  There are two base screws, the main one (prova) and a Subvi (provasubvi). The main vi launches the Subvi and the Subvi simply create a chart. As you can see on the screws works fine, without any kind of problem.

  I also created the exe file, without specifying that no particular option... and 'magic' of the application does not work as I want. In particular, it seems that the Subvi is running, but the front panel will not be accessible.

  I also try to play with the Subvi construction structure and options, but nothing change.

  Did you ever solve something like that?... I would say that I thank you in advance for any suggestion...

  We are facing a problem with the audit files we have a runnning on oracle 10g server and being an Institute of teaching many ppl to connect to the server and too much work with SQL and PL/SQL. We have disabled the option to audit the database, but the audit files grow enormous in size. May I know what can be the problem and how to fix that there could be something that we would have missed.

  There is no setting of "verification". Display the values of

  AUDIT_FILE_DEST, AUDIT_SYS_OPERATIONS, AUDIT_TRAIL.

  I don't know 'NULL' as the value for each of these parameters.

• Distribute the data file with the cod file?

  Hi all

  My application runs from a file of database on camera flash memory.  While the application can transfer data from my server to complete the database, the first download is quite large and takes a long time to run (I'm working on it).

  It occurred to me that an alternative might be to provide a database of pre-populated with the app file, while the app will run straight out of the box without needing to first synchronization.

  Does anyone know if the App World store supports this - distribution of data, and the app?

  You're right about the wasted space.  How about you always include a resource file, but make sure that if your program needs to read data from "base", read from the resource file, and if it's new data, read from the DB.  I don't know what your app does so I don't know if it's feasible or not, but if this is the case, that would solve your problem.  What do you think?

I downloaded Creative Cloud Desktop install but in the middle of the stage 'Download', I get an error 205 "it seems to be a problem with the files downloaded.". • Problem with the RTEXE file on PXI system

  I have attached the image of the comic to a very simple code that illustrates a problem with a file RTEXE on PXI system.

  If the VI (LabVIEW 2011) is started on the target of the RT of a LabVIEW project, no problem.

  If the code (with the shared variable linked to a typedef of indicator I32, lvlib being on target and ctl files) is compiled and run in starting my PXI system, it does not (message = "bad state" or something equivalent in french)!

  But when the shared variable is disconnected the typedef, the RTEXE file runs correctly in starting...

  No explanation for this strange behavior?

  I have an answer on the french section of the forum: it's a LabView2011 bug, fixed in LabVIEW2012.

  LabVIEW2011 the only solution is to disconnect the shared variable the typedef

  I have a white screen which displays the file as 'file:///C:/Users/Mark/AppData/Local/Temp/Magentic/Mag3075.htm', is unable to get rid of it, can someone give me a simple step by step direction to remove it and get out of my computer, the magnetic program has been removed, but still have files, this isn't one of them.

  First make sure you can see hidden files/folders by going to start / Control Panel / folder Options / view and check the box show hidden and system files.  While there, also uncheck to hide extensions of known file types (this will be useful to you later).

  Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and get Autoruns and run it to check your startup items.  Search for this file.  If you find it, delete it or uncheck the box allowing it to boot at startup.  Will not get rid of the file itself, but it must stop the logon dialog box (a step in the right direction).  Restart after you did it to see if it still appears.  If so, return here after having tried other options that follow.

  Now open Windows Explorer and go to that location and select the file and click on delete.  I guess you have tried this and it didn't work.  It gives you an error message when you try?  What is the EXACT text of this error (including all codes)?

  Try to use one of the following free products to remove the file/folder.  Unlocker to: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml or file Assassin http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php (with or without forcing the deletion: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/27/force-delete-cannot-delete-locked-or-in-used-files-or-folders-with-fileassassin/).   To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  You can change now switched to read-only (even if the main folder indicates that they are always read-only - you can access yourself as the owner).  You can keep them in read-only to other users, customers and administrators even (although they can support themselves and access, if they wish, and it is really not that you can do to stop it except protect the file with a password by using a 3rd party product.)  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.  To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

• Problem with the Code/Design view buttons

  (My bad... maybe a clearer title will help you...)

  OK, I work with DW CS4 v.10.0 Build 4117 on a platform of Win XP Pro SP3.

  When you work with files from my site, they open in Code view.  The Split and design buttons are grayed out.  When I click the page layout button, the check mark is sometimes next to the option Code, but sometimes next to Design (even if the page is clearly displayed only in Code view!).

  To view the file in Design view or split view, click the page setup button, click on the Code, click on the button layout again, click Design or split view and then it will display the page in this way file.

  It's SO frustrating!  Is this a bug in CS4?  (I scanned through the other topics and can't seem to find anything about it.)  I don't remember having this problem with CS3 and have spoken with other DW CS3 users who also say that they have never had this happen.

  What can I do?

  I might have a solution for this one. I had the same problem. It would be 'reliable' whenever I would create a new PHP file.

  "File" > "New" > "PHP" > Layout 'None' > 'Create' - no buttons 'Split' or 'Design' (grey)

  In 'preferences' under 'File Types/errors', there is a section "open in code view".

  I removed the. The extension PHP from here, tried again and it worked!

  Unfortunately the statements of variable length arrays is a feature of c99 is supported in CVI9, but probably not in version 8. If you use CVI8.5, you can try to add this pragma at the code and see if that fixes the problem, but according to this list of features posted by Luis, I'm not positive in this regard:
