Proceeds from transfer to new computer

Is it possible to transfer my Indesign CS5 on a newer computer?

You are allowed to instqll the same product on 2 machines.  As long as you do not change the type of system, PC or Mac, you can have it on both machines.  You can also disable it on one machine and install it on the other, if you think that you can not use it on the machine of origin again.  It will be very convenient if you want to install on another machine again at some point.

  • Adobe CS6 transfer to new computer

I have Adobe CS6 Suite installed on my computer at home.  It is an older machine of Windows 7 that Microsoft cannot be upgraded to Windows 10.  They offer a good deal with a machine Windows 10.  The problem is the Suites from Adobe CS6 for educators.  I installed a CD - this isn't a creative Cloud version.

I don't want creative cloud because I'm going for long periods of time that I don't have access to the internet.

How can I transfer my mobile version of CS6 to a new computer?

You must install using installation files... your CD should be sufficient, unless you don't have a disk drive available - the serial number of the disks will be required in all cases.  If you need to download the installation files you can find them through the links below.  Your license allows you to have two active facilities, so if you do want to install Windows 7 as a backup (at least until you are sure the new install works), you can.

  • Possible to move from XP to new computer without installation CD?

I have an old computer that I got from a friend who no longer want, but today she has exceeded so that there is not much I could do with it. It has Windows XP installed, and I would like to know if I could move XP without CD installation to a new computer, I built recently. I am currently running Linux on my new PC.

you will not be able to because that move the hard drive to a totally different system will engage xp anti hacking device.

you see, during the initial installation of xp, it collects information about all the hardware on this computer and generates a security hash.

Thereafter, whenever the initialization of xp it collects information about the material and compare it to the hardware hash to ensure gaps little or not with the hardware.

So basically, if xp is started on this newer computer, the hardware hash that it has stored on the drive will not match the information he gather on the new computer.

However, if you have the xp installation cd and the product number of matches the OS on the hard drive, then you can do a repair install and create a new hardware hash.

also, remember that the old xp may not work on computer systems more lately, anyway.  Thus, not only is the hardware hash as a factor for xp, but incompatible material can be as well.

as a suggestion, you can put the old computer with your new network.

  • Licenses to transfer to new computer

I had Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe first 10 running on a Dell Studio 8100 (Windows 7).

Your Adobe license allows installation on two computers.

You always have access to the old computer?  If Yes, then you should disable connection or disconnection of the elements on the old computer programs, you therefore two licenses available.

If you do not have access to the old computer, then you will need to discuss with and rep from Adobe to get this license disabled.

But in the meantime, you should be able to install on the new computer if you have only installed once, on the 8700, previously.

  • Photoshop CC transfer to new computer

I will soon receive a new computer and I was wondering how to pass my CC of Photoshop and Lightroom 5 to the new computer. In the past, when upgrading to a new computer, I was able to disable Photoshop via the Help menu. Photoshop CC does more this option, and since only two copies are allowed at the same time, I'm at a loss on how to retire from the copy that I have now and switch the account to the new computer so that Adobe can verify that I did. I also have the CC Photoshop and Lightroom 5 on another computer, so I'm at my limit. Any ideas?
