Producers set connection cache, Session, JMS

I read a very interesting articles about caching of JMS

https://community.JBoss.org/wiki/ShouldICacheJMSConnectionsAndJMSSessions
http://bsnyderblog.blogspot.be/2010/02/using-spring-JmsTemplate-to-send-JMS.html

It made me ask if I use JMS in a proper way for sending messages
(for MDB is easy to specify the number of consumers and I guess only he connections are managed by the container and are advised)

First scenario is s local search:

When I want to send messages JMS to a stateless session bean:

Context ctx = new world;
Factory Factory = ctx.lookup("jms.apps.QueueConnectionFactory") (Factory);
Connection Conn = queueConnectionFactory.createConnection ();
Conn.Start ();
A session = conn.createSession (false, Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
Destination destination = ctx.lookup (queueName) (Destination);
MessageProducer myMsgProducer = session.createProducer (destination);
TextMessage m = session.createTextMessage (message);
myMsgProducer.send (m);
Conn.Close ();

Is this ok?

I want to say to every call there is this sequence == >

-> Send-> connection-> Session-> MessageProducer ConnectionFactory

You article he wrote (but is for JBOSS):

"The reason is, when you use the JMS API from within an EJB (including an MDB), or a servlet (or an MBean in JBoss), and then when you call createConnection() or createSession() on your JMS connections or JMS connection factory, you do not actually those calls on a real JMS connections or JMS connection factory."

Is this valid for Weblogic?

Scenario 2: Using an InitialContext distance: is there a big penalty for remote access to this factory of conn (or is by default a cache, gives in fact)?

Thank you

Basically, the answer is Yes: a WebLogic application server will be "secretly" share the JMS resources. That said, it's a good idea for applications to cache CF and dest references as it is expensive to repeatedly look up in JNDI - local or remote JNDI context. (This is a common practice to use remote contexts, the links below detail best practices for their wiring in WebLogic). I think that it is also a good idea to refresh the references CF and dest on an error. In addition, in your code example, there is no need to call the "connection.start ()" - as it has no effect on message production.

Here are the related documentation for WebLogic:

Increased support for WebLogic JMS with EJB and servlet usage
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E17904_01/Web.1111/e13727/J2EE.htm#g1329180
There's a nice sample EJB 3.0 at the end of this chapter. I recommend to do two things a bit differently from the sample: (1) do not raise again the exception to trigger the return as this expensive forces bean to be destroyed and re-created, force rather a cancellation of transaction by using the context of the EJB - that said, new lifting is inevitable with non transactional BMD, because there is no equivalent to a cancellation in the case of no transaction request , and (2) the value targetDest and targetCF to null in the exception handler to be refreshed on an error.

  • Access to the Windows 7 domain after setting using cached credentials to connect

    Scenario: A road warrior must first connect using the updated Windows 7 laptop cached domain credentials in order to activate a connection wireless, click VPN access to the network. Some programs do not run, because the user has apparently must be validated on the domain controller. I was just curious about in regards to if there is no interaction between the domain controller and the local computer AFTER a field connection becomes available when a user is connected through the VPN. If so, it would allow a user to run a program or a script after obtaining a connection to domain has been validated and the user would have access to some network resources that are available only to a domain user. Otherwise, the other workarounds are necessary, such as the start feature before opening of session of Cisco. An overview of all of this is very much appreciated.

  • Stop setting browser caching a connection

    Hey all,.

    Quick question for you. I have a link on my site that goes to a pdf file, which is updated once a week. The problem that I see all of my users having is the browser's caching of this link and if they force 120 Hz it works but I want to make it easier on them. The way I have it Setup is the link going to http://www.metrocog.org/sermon.pdf I just replace the sermon.pdf every week of the file on the server in this way I don't have to change the link every week. I know that I can force a browser not to cache the page, but I wonder if I can force the browser not to cache just this link?

    Thank you

    Hi ajatix,.

    Thanks again.  I returned and tried your suggestion to post 6 and it worked.  Put the date in the middle between the pagemode and page number seems to be the thing.

  • Coordination of cache using jms password problem

    Hi all
    I used jms to cache coordination in EclipseLink. Things using an excellent clear text password until now work. However, when I use an encrypted password generated by going to the weblogic, setDomainEnv.sh execution and execution domain java weblogic.security.Encrypt. I get a {...} AES = password I use in the transport Manager by the definition of password in encrypted for the transport Manager. But I get authentication exception. Is there something that I am missing? For clear text, there seems to be no problems. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached the stacktrace for reference.

    TransportManager has a setEncryptionClassName (String) which allows the specification of the securable class strategy that it will use that can also be set throgh the encryption tag xml class if you use EclipseLink installation sessions.xml/project.xml native config files. Otherwise, you will probably need to call the setEncryptionClassName directly from within a method of session customizer: session.getCommandManager () .getTransportManager () .setEncryptionClassName ("yourclass"); start the session CommandManager or AbstractSession

  • External connection EBS Sessions (iRecruitment Candate external, for example)

    I would like to get help to understand why the external sessions are not recorded at the level of the form. My script is limited to the responsibility of the external candidate in an instance of 11i with ATG.6 to iRecruitment.

    The profile option Sign-On: level of auditing is set to FORM at the site level.

    Logins using iRecruitment responsibility external candidate are recorded in the FND_LOGINS table, but not in the FND_LOGIN_RESPONSIBILITIES table.

    What Miss me? My requirement is to report on any external access do not use the external candidate responsibility iRecruitment (external access do not use this responsibility would be considered not permitted in our body). In this context, "external" means access not external candidate in the sense of an internal employee or contractor of VPN connection.

  • Setting of RAC SESSIONS

    process = 400
    sessions is 445 (default).

    And we got ORA-00018 with number of processes about 340-instance.
    What would be the right setting for the parameter of sessions? The default seems wrong. I can't find anything in the Oracle documentation or MOS on SESSIONS in the CARS.

    Thank you.

    Hi Forstmann,

    "If we increase the PROCESS, we check the setting of the OS kernel as ' max user process ' but if we increase only the parameters of SESSIONS we need also to increase the OS kernel 'process user max?"

    Max user process: this function allows to control the number of processes a user existing on the server may be allowed to have on the BONE.

    The short answer is: Increasing SESSIONS, you must increase PROCESSES and PROCESS increases, you should check the setting of the operating system kernel.

    It is common, there is a relationship between CONNECTION-> SESSION-> PROCESS, but is not a rule.

    It is easier explained in practice than in theory.

    So, see this example:

    {code}

    # My process no longer exists because I lost the connection with db10g2.
    {code}

    The concept above shows the relationship between process and session, but the process of setting are related to many other resources such as Sessions, jobs, parallel queries and so on.

    I understand that the recursive sessions are based on the same process: is it true?

    Yes... The Oracle documentation explains that the value for sessions must be greater than the value of process allowing recursive sessions. It's average Oracle use same method for recursive sessions.

  • How to assign a dynamic name of the factory of connections to a JMS adapter

    Hi all

    IM using JDeveloper 11 g Release 1 version.

    First of all, I need to get the name of a table connection factory and then passing to the JMS adapter is it possible? I can potentially affect the connection factory name a kind of variable and then assign a value to what I get from the database?

    Hello
    You can do this by setting the properties of JCA in the invoke of the adapter. Open the BPEL/mediator who calls the adapter when BPEL click twice on the DB adapter inoke-> go to the Properties tab and set the /jca.db.XADataSourceName 'jca.db.DataSourceName' with a variable value by using exp. Builder. In your case, get the value of the DB and set the property with the value of DB

    You must always make sure that your WebLogic servers focus on two areas; say that a WebLogic Server in the local domain cannot have the same name as a WebLogic Server in the remote domain.

  • Possible to set the cache of management by file type rules?

    I have a large cache, thus being able to search through my history of navigation for web pages, and see previously clicked links regardless of how long I clicked on them, however, it occurs to me to avail myself of this advantage, that I also have to leave FF to cache everything - text & javascript of junk old cookies, and hundreds of dollars of megs of photos and flash bits that make the web look pretty.

    I'd like a way to set expiration dates on the cache according to the types of files, for example htm/html: never remove. Cookies: perhaps, rules-based, I put (possibility to add filters etc. would be cool), photos and videos: a week or two, etc...

    I guess that it does not yet exist as I can't find any reference to it during the search and it is defo not natively available via the basic interface. The amount of work would be to develop, and everyone would benefit from this service?

    Don't know where it would be better to discuss this, but you will normally not developers reading messages in this forum. Probably better to try to look at this list:

    You can ask a bug, ask such a feature, but it would be much better to try to find someone interested in the job or accepting to be first.

    It produces also tome that what you may be most interested is just history and not necessarily cache, because probably you just need the link retained rather than the content itself. You normally try again looking for the cache rather than history?

    The story itself now by default goes back very far and doesn't start to restrict things if bookmarks are too large. (Not too sure at the moment where the links are, but I remember changes in the algorithms may be a year or too ago).

    Another point is that short of copy your places.sqlite file has no way of history backup, there is no automated backups. (I know I accidentally erased history recently, the fake profile and not him did not support long)

  • Scripts of connection and SESSION variable.

    For decades, I've used the line "if/i ' % NomSession: ~ 0, 8% '==' ICA - tcp #" OUTPUT "to prevent login scripts running on Citrix servers. I also used other variants of "if/i ' % NomSession: ~ 0, 8%"=="RDP - tcp # ' and if/i"% sessionname "is" console"in scripts." Recently, these scripts began to behave badly and I discovered that the SESSION variable is no longer available when running it of login scripts. The SESSION variable does not get set until later. Once my desktop, I can open a DOS command prompt and see the SESSION variable. I suspect a fix released last month, 6/2016 led to this change in behavior. BTW, Windows XP systems do not have this problem

    I already get a work around for this, but I'm curious if anyone else has seen this and they know patch that caused it.

    FOR INFO. The solution is to add this stuffed animal at the beginning of my scripts. "

    If 'NOMSESSION % '==' ' for /F "tokens = 2" % in ("user request ^ |") "." trouver/i "% username %" ') set NOMSESSION = % f

    "

  • To dynamically set values as session variables

    Hello guys,.

    I have a little problem with dynamically fixed values for text fields in my application. It is possible to set and passes the value even though I assign values, using the source (static, sql or other) but if I change the value in this field using a dynamic action it will not pass these values where I need. It shows a blank State, even if they are visible. Is there any solution to get these values passed as session variables.

    Kind regards.
