Product key and ISO files - 7437 Inspiron is entered without key and files when I plug it

Hello

I bought my Inspiron 7437 in Dec 2013 in the United States (I live in the United Kingdom and it is impossible for me to reach the support the American customer) and I still have the original box with all that came with it, there was no disc (because there is no disk drive on the 7437) or anythihg with Microsoft product key.  I upgraded to 8.1 immediately without problem.

Now for a year, I have problems with OneDrive don't no synchronization and Microsoft support suggested I upgrade to Windows 10, but they said to do, I need to "Product key of Windows 8" and "ISO" which "usually come on a CD with your laptop.  I am in contact with Microsoft technical support, we continue the process, they work on my machine remotely.

I don't have the key, or ISO files because nothing came with the laptop initially.  Maybe it's possible to upgrade to Windows 10 without product key Windows 10 and ISO files (I have not tried) BUT I want to do like Microsoft support told me because they're trying to solve my problem of OneDrive.

Can pls anyone suggest how to get the product key of Windows 8 and ISO files?

Press [Windows] and [r] to bring up the Run dialog box. Type

Msinfo32

Press [Enter]. It will tell you the model number and BIOS version. The most recent version and all previous revisions are available here:

The Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 media authoring tools can be used to download the .isos:

Don't forget to check your installation of Windows basic editing and download the correct corresponding .iso image file. Ask my guides with that. You can also use the tool for creating Windows Media to perform an in place upgrade.

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.

Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

Your machine was manufactured before the release of Windows Vista.

The COA sticker is of a type that cannot be used on computers that were shipped with preinstalled Vista - so this key has been moved from another machine and is not valid on this one.

For which version and edition of WIndows is the slot machine license, * according to the COA sticker on his case? *

  • I get an error message that the downloaded Windows 7 is not a valid ISO file when you use Microsoft Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.

I have downloaded the file ISO in Digital River today, only copied the hard drive of my computer.  I installed the MS tool to make a bootable USB key.  When I select the ISO file I have downloaded, I get an error message that is not a valid ISO file.  No idea why?  He came from Digital River, so it should be a good record.

Windows Xp reinstall the product key invalid pop up

OK, so here starts my road of woes. First of all, I got a problem with a driver updated on a COMPAQ DeskPro ENS P866. It complements removed all the sounds of this PC. I tried every fix on every techie forum goes without result... including uninstalling, resettlement (thanks to automatic and manual methods). Stop and start services, Fix IT, restores... etc etc. You name it I tried it. I knew that these drivers were on the original Windows installation, so I decided to bite the bullet and do a complete Tassel and take all the patches from its state of origin (desperate that Yes). OK so I took screen prints of my information on the product and information system before you start... I started to follow the XP Reinstall instructions by the support site for windows... and everything seemed to be going great until I arrived at the main screen of the product. I put in my 25 char key and got the pop up "the product Id you entered is not valid. The CD I have, was not a copy retail it was a copy of illigit. However, I bought a license real profit to perform this legal copy... then this could explain why its causing me problems? Otherwise why the * it will not accept my key bought. I checked then double I indexed in as it was printed... and I am really frustrated. Ive gone 1 speaker works do not, no noise, no computer/XP... I tried the Chat Support and they confirmed my product key is still valid... and is the version correct etc etc. But thensaid I need to call a number paying to discuss further. I realize XP is under extended warranty... They want to pay my 46 + VAT + extras before they will even speak with me... at all. So what now? Product ID is 7558881-76487-084-22948 Microsoft Windows XP Professional... updated originally to NT/2000. The sticker on the unit refers to the earlier version HELPPPPP!

  • Must the product key be changed when the power of a standard installation on several computers?

I have a standard system install CD, which includes Windows + apps + registry settings on a number of standalone PCs.  I have product keys Windows for all PCs and licenses for all applications.   When I install the system on a new PC, it's the Windows product key for installation that was used for the disk image.   It is legally necessary to change Windows product key than the 'real' key of the PC, or holds the office product key is enough?

It is legally necessary to change Windows product key than the 'real' key of the PC, or holds the office product key is enough?

I don't have the good creditials answering a legal question, but I can say my personal opinion.  Since you have all the appropriate product keys you are not hacking software.  From a moral point of view, I think that would be nice.  I'd be worried about updates in case their site reviews you the same product key on each machine.  It could be a red flag that could get the banned key.

    Hello

The product key to reinstall the operating system is on a sticker on the case of your computer and contains 25 digits divided into 5 groups of 5 digits.

With a PC, it is on the side, at the top of the page or the box.

With a laptop, it is on the bottom or in the battery compartment.

If you can our find it, read this.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

The methods above resettlement generally do not require allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

  • Vista - product key not accepted when I type in, what should I do now?

When I try to use Office or Power Point, I asks me to enter the product key. I do it after reading it on the sticker on the base of my laptop, but it's not accept it? Any ideas what I need to do? I'm short of attempts, I can do. Thanks for your help.

I believe that the key to product based on the portable computer is for Vista. It is not for the office.

My laptop came with a trial version of Office that I had to buy a license online to continue using it after a few months.

  • How can I get a program or file on my USB key to open when I plug?

I have a few files and programs stored on my USB key, and I want a file or program to open whenever I plug. What should I do?

Use Bing or Google search for the terms "autorun.inf" and "AutoPlay" of research.  These should help you determine what are your options for the types of files you want to open.

  • How can I close Bridge and Photoshop when installing plug-ins?

I just upgraded to Photoshop CS3 Photoshop CS5.  I'm trying to install the Photoshop 12.0.1 update and the Camera Raw 6.3 update.  When I start the installation program for the 12.0.1 update, the screen is required to I close Adobe Photoshop CS 5 (Photoshop.exe).  But I can't do that because it wasn't open, at first.  At least I don't open it and there is nothing on the screen to indicate that it is open.  Similarly, when I try to install the Camera Raw 6.3 update, he invites me to close Adobe Bridge CS5 (exe bridge) and Adobe Photoshop CS5 (Photoshop.exe). But, again, I didn't open them initially.  In each case, I am therefore unable to continue.  Is there something about closing the part "exe" that I need to know?  Or something else?

Use the Task Manager / processes to see if you have Bridge.exe or Photoshop.exe open and make and click on end process on each if they are.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium invalid product key.

    Hi all!

Hope you can help me out here. I have an old Dell Inspiron 1525 with 7 Home Premium.

I had to do a repair reinstall because of virus issues, and every time I try to activate windows it says that my product key is not valid. I tried online with automated phone activation and with an agent of the customer on the line, nothing helps.

I have the portable authentication certificate delivered with and I was wondering if there is information which could be used to verify my product, or is there anything else I can do to check this version of 7?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your help, everyone! In fact, I managed to get the product key to work when I tried again. No idea of what makes the difference, but it's great to have such a mass of knowledge here.

    Thank you

    Hello

First the Windows 8.1 key will not work, you must have Windows 10 key. Yesterday, I tried the following statement 4 times for laptop for my daughter, but did not work:

IMPORTANT: To upgrade for free, select upgrade this PC now in the tool. One should NOT ask for a product key during the upgrade process. If you create a USB stick and use it to install, make sure you remove the USB key as soon as the installation program starts. If you do not, you may be prompted for a product key. In this case, remove the USB and reboot your PC to continue the installation.

I finally had to use the option to upgrade this PC now.

    Kind regards.

  • Windows 10 clean install - need product key

I bought a G70-70 last week and I would like to do a clean install of Windows 10. Before diving, I set up a dual boot with the 8.1 existing. During the Win 10 install it twice asked for a product key, but also allowed the installation to continue. I now have a working win 10, but he says that it requires activation. In the activation screen, it says I have an existing product key of *-8HVX7, but the details of the error show ' 0xC004C003 - the activation server determined that the specified product key has been blocked "."

"I tried to use Magic Jelly Bean to get the product key existing under 8.1, but if I get it it gives an error code of ' 0xc004f050 - invalid product key.

When I bought the laptop it says she is ready for Windows 10 and I expect an update would probably work, but I would like to start with a clean install.

You must first upgrade your installation windows 8.1 for Windows 10. This also increases your key win8.1 to win10. After that, you can cleanly reinstall Win10 without any problem. Just make sure that the upgrade of Win10 have been activated.

I've now upgraded a for my G70-70 of my own Win8.1 installed to Win10, through the upgrade of Windows Update & it but went well. The only thing I used to do was install the latest nVidia drivers.
