  You use a Dell OEM SLP key on a hp computer. It would never work.

  If your hp COST is for professional, you can change the product key to the one on your COA. If this isn't the case, you can buy professional or return to windows, your computer comes with that.

This morning I woke up and signed my user profile, and a screen popped up with three options: 1) 1) acceder access your computer with reduced functionality) 2 type a product different keys, 3) contact hp for this problem. I tried to choose option number 2 and type in the product key that is located on the product to the back of the laptop. I can't perform a restore of the system the control panel because I can't access the control panel or the start menu. Because the operating system is preloaded on the computer, I have all the other disks with product keys. And I can not contact the seller I bought the laptop of CompUSA being out of business. Help.
