Product key recovery Windows 8.1 AFTER replacement of the operating system

Hello

I was wondering if there is any way out of this pickle.

I had problems with my pc (mainly the printer spooler errors) of a virus so I decided to do a system restore. Only problem was that I had the pc built for me and the person has used a downloaded Windows 8.1 version (no cd). When I went to restore the operating system he said I was "missing data". As I had no cd to I found a so-called work around where you use the missing data from one version of windows business to fill the gaps and it should allow me to restore the version I had (8.1 regular).

Well low and behold, I load my windows and it is has been replaced by this...

So I tried to reinstall Windows 8.1 using the ISO and the extraction of the key with Magic Jellybean, but, of course, the key had been crushed as well with this useless key.

I called Microsoft to see if they could recover my OLD key that has written more because I was signing on my account when I logged in while I had my version 8.1 ordinary and download of updates. The people at the other end doesn't seem to understand what I was talking and kept transfer me different places when they are confused as to what I was asking (the language barrier I guess).

ALL I NEED IS MY OLD RETURN KEY! If not hidden on my computer somewhere so how to get Microsoft to please look into this also. I even signed up for Windows 10 deployment on my 8.1 original.

Thanks in advance

Hello

Ask the person who has built your computer and installed Windows 8.1 where they have bought and what they were doing with the product key.

See you soon.

  • Product key recovery Windows 8

In an attempt to dual-boot Windows 8 and Ubuntu, I partitioned with too much space to think about her and accidentally erased all my computer Windows Partitions. I got a file Iso of Windows 8 and on the Setup, he invites me for a product key. I understand that the product key is encrypted on the motherboard. I was wondering if he could be sent to me. • When entering the product key for Windows XP I receiver a mistake: the product id you entered is not valid.

my old hard drive crashed completely gone I am trying to reinstall windows xp on the new drive same computer I have the same his invalid product key (I do not have the office yet) what should I do? is there a number I can call, and that does not cost $ 50 just for support? I heard there were ways to reset the code to make it work on the good hard drive and not on the bad?

If by saying "This is the code on my last hard drive" you mean that you used a utility such as Magical Jellybean Keyfinder to read the key on your old hard drive and you use now that the key... it's the wrong key.  It is key that the manufacturer used to all the machines it does.  You must use the key that is located on the sticker on the box.

To avoid even guess, please provide the following information:

    • The brand and model of your computer
    • The version of Windows that was originally installed on the computer
    • Where you got the CD that you are using and what's printed on it
    • When you got the product key you use (not posting the key itself)

I have a compaq presario that originally vista os, the system crashed and I could get the recovery work so I installed windows xp and now I'm having problems with the sound. What should I do? I tried to locate the drivers requarding info. I keep getting error messages indicating that I have no audio device. Is it possible to go back to vista? I don't have an instillation cd or recovery for vista cd. Any help would be great.

    Hello

Go to the link drivers HP > search your computer number model > XP OS > download and install the audio drivers.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

If no audio driver XP is available, HP provides them.

Through the installation of XP, you have destroyed the provided HP recovery Partition Vista to reinstall Vista:

Solve a common problem of recovery with the HP Compaq computers.
If the original operating system is changed to a non - Vista OS, the Recovery Manager cannot be started from either the desktop or by pressing f11 at startup. You can use the recovery disk to restore the computer to the original state of Vista. If you are using a non - Vista OS, you can use a third-party partition management program to recover hard disk space.

Contact HP and ask them to send you a set of Vista recovery disks.
Normally, they do this for a small fee.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

  • After installation of the operating system 7, Photoshop CS does not work and is called a power PC program. It is an Intel machine and Photoshop has worked well with OS 10.6.

After installing OS 7 (from 6 OS) on a machine Intel, Photoshop CS and CS2 will not open. I get the message that the Power PC programs are more supported. Why is this happening? Thank you.

The message is clear (if you know what Power PC means, in other words). All G5 and many ancient used Mac made by Motorola and IBM called PowerPC processors. More recent that all Mac G5s use Intel processors.

You talk to any OS, Mac, Windows, Linux, etc, the application that you are using must be written and compiled for the CPU and operating system, or it won't work.

Your copy of Photoshop were written for older Mac using PowerPC applications and does not not on any Mac running Lion 10.7.x or later version. They ran under Snow Leopard 10.6.x because it was the last version of Mac OS X to include Rosetta, which is an emulator PowerPC that allowed these older apps to function, even though the Mac has an Intel processor.

    Your have several options.

    (1) buy a new version of Photoshop that runs natively under Leo.

    2) back to Snow Leopard.

    (3) purchase Server Snow Leopard from Apple ($20) and that run in a virtual machine as the free VirtualBox, VMware or Parallels. You can then run your PPC software in the virtual machine. It means that you were running an OS within an operating system and need a good amount of RAM installed to support the two well enough for your Mac is not slow to a crawl.

    Q.

    Hello

As far as I know, this camera comes with W98SE and WME. The recovery CD with operating system Windows XP Home edition for this device is not created by Toshiba.

You can install Windows XP Home edition and use all the drivers for the Toshiba download site. I don t know how much RAM use this device, but if the unit has less than 128 MB of RAM you can't wait the machine runs fast.

P.S. Someone told me that the drivers should be installed in a certain "ORDER"? WHAT is the question?

    Hello:

The 14F1 is a modem - SoftV92 Data Fax Modem with SmartCP

Try this driver for an eMachines T6410. Select the modem download. This model uses it even than yours.

    http://support.gateway.com/us/en/EMAC/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=1640

The unknown device is the AMD Away mode driver. You will need to manually install this driver by clicking on the unknown device in Device Manager and click on the driver tab.

Click on put up-to-date driver, select manual search and navigate to the folder of the driver that you extract the zip file that I attached below.

You might want to try the package of network drivers from your PC support page. If a driver installed and you still have network problems, I do not know how to solve them.

Miniport Microsoft map should be native to Windows.

    Good luck
