  If I buy a DPS Professional license, will I still have apps unlimited single-edition through my subscription CC and if so the pages of unique edition will be free or I will have to buy the passes as a professional?

  Hey Phillipe,

  You must rebuild your application using the App DPS constructor if you want to change the application type, it does not change automatically when you switch to Professional Edition. Then, you will also need to send it back to the App Store.

  Professional Edition allows you to create an app for iPad and iPhone. The type of application depends on the type of content you offer with your App several versions of the same folio to different devices are known as "rendition". You must choose "Multi Folio" to it. If you want to allow your readers to subscribe to your publication, you need to select 'Multi sheet with iTunes subscription.

  Your second question can be answered globally in a post on the forum since it is just too much. There is a lot of documentation available on the DPS help pages on the themes of different types of app, app creation and distribution of the app. Maybe start with this article, Presentation of the different types of applications DPS and go from there. There is also a Guide available for download edition since the dashboard of DPS that I can recommend it.

• DPS single edition - bad Builder ID, how to fix?

  We design a quarterly magazine and we´re using a license to simple editing of dps to be available for the readers as an independent application for iPad, for each edition.

  We did our second edition, and by mistake, on the construction of the Viewer on the stage of commissioning, we used the old files mobileprovision since the first edition (with the old id bundle).

  The result is easy to find - the app created on the DPS Viewer generator (and signed with the old configuration files) is not correct with respect to one established on iTunes Connect for this second edition, and we only noticed when we tried to submit the application with the Application Apple´s feeder.

  So my question is simple: How can we change our mag on Viewer generator and change to new configuration files (we need to use a new bundle id, because the second edition is not an upgrade, but a new application) on the without new DPS and purchase unique edition license (Please mind that when we publish we can use the new configuration files) ("", but they must keep the same mobile disposition id, otherwise we get the following error "Bundle ID inside the mobileprovision does not match the ID used for the build bundle").

• Adobe dps and confusion cloud creative subscription

  I'm subscribed to Adobe DPS (Pro) and I am struggling to understand what exactly the right level of subscription for me. I don't mean to publish applications, most of what I do is sharing with my clients using the content viewer Adobe presentations.

  I've now started to learn edge animate and to incorporate this into my DPS items, I need to upgrade to Indesign CS6. Now, I think a subscription to creative cloud.

  If I take the creative cloud (upgrade) 26/m subscription £ will I still need to continue my DPS Adobe subscription or it is understood? It seems a bit strange to me that I pay more than £26/m for the only DPS subscription. As creative Cloud will allow me to upgrade other software I use now.

  I was invited by the company, I'm working to get this cleared up and at the moment, I'm a bit confused by this.

  I visited the Adobe.com website, but it does give me the level of advice I need.

  DPS has been recently integrated with CCM in which you can publish as much built in single edition App you want. But in order to integrated multi app problem and much more a publishing solution, you need the Pro or the company. Through this comparison buying guidefor clarity. Please note that DPS integration with CCM is not a complete publishing solution. DPS with CCM is an added benefit to users in a way CCM.

  Infact if you demo alone with the Adobe Content Viewer, you don't need DPS at all. You just need Indesign CS5/CS5.5/CS6

  But if you publish live apps on the appstore, you need DPS to be able to do. And depending on the type of content is published online, you must be DPS/CCM/Pro/Enterprise edition only.

  If you publish only one issue/app, simple editing or CCM will suffice

  If you want to publish mutiple built in unique isssue app you need of CCM

  If you publish multiple multi-isssue applications, you need the Pro or the company

  I'm trying to update my existing ipad app.  I had a single edition for about 5 months.  I have the same problem as BT219 in this thread:http://forums.adobe.com/message/6138834#6138834.  I deleted the folio existing, made a new with the same name and updated the article.  I click on create new app in folio Builder and he opens the DPS generator.  I click on the existing application and click on modify.  I reload all the information and download the new developer API.  I have load to my ipad, and it's article with updated icons.

  If you use a serial number, you need to contact technical support to reset for you so that you can update the application.

  Two years ago, we have submitted an application using InDesign and a single edition. Since iOS7 the app is no longer visible on iPad, probably because a new version of Xcode is necessary. Can I re-use my serial number unique edition to republish my application? Or is there an easier solution?

  Serial number unique edition DPS is valid for only one year.

  You posted the app 2 years there so the serial number is already expired.

  In this case, or you can buy new serial number unique edition DPS in order to update app or purchase membership creative cloud where you can create applications unlimited only question.

• Windows Xp professional x64bit edition

  I recently discovered that some software companies need to have the latest update for your operating system. In my particular case, I need Service Pack 3 for my o/s.

  My current operating system is: "Microsoft Windows Xp professional x64bit Edition 2003 Service Pack 2 Version.

  Microsoft will produce a SP3 for the o/s version, if they have, where and when can I get it?

  I received a download link and downloaded SP3 file but, I won't install unless I don't know what the SP3 for my o/s version.

  Is the file name "WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3 - x 86 - ENU"

  Taken directly from the Microsoft Web site: there is no SP3 for the 64 bit version of Windows XP. If you run the 64-bit version of Windows XP with Service Pack 2, you have the latest service pack and will continue to be eligible for support and receive updates until April 8, 2014 (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/learn-how-to-install-windows-xp-service-pack-3-sp3).

  Seems strange that the 32-bit version would be a service pack, but not the 64-bit version.  Because the 32-bit service pack was released more than two years ago, I wouldn't have much hope that they will release a 64-bit version.

• I get the blue screen error after installation of Visual Studio 2010 Professional Test Edition. Help?

  A brief overview of ALALA situation and how it happened:

  1. I went to microsoft.com and download Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional Trial Edition

  2. I opted to use the Installer web pro (4.3 MB) and it correctly installed, restarted and completed the installation.

  3. I opened one of my previous Visual Studio 2008 Solutions and it prompted me to convert the solution.

  4. it is the solution converted successfully and open well.

  But now for some reason any my computer started to give me a blue screen. It forces the computer to restart, and then it connects back with errors:

  Editing simple apps are a compromise. You pay $395 and then submit the app to Apple.

  You pay nothing more at Adobe.

  By "post" do you mean post on Apple's App Store? You can create as many sheets as you want using DPS and view using the content of office or the iPad preview Viewer. If you want to push that your live folios by download either free or fees on the Apple App Store, you will need to apply to Apple.

  I design with Indesign CS6 AND WITH FOLIO FOR BEING LUS on IPAD WITH ADOBE CONTENT VIEWER, WHEN I need digital edition into that. Do I need to buy separate DPS

  LCA is Adobe Content Viewer. You can use it to display a preview of the folios, that you have created in InDesign, and you can share this folio with others. But if you want to create a custom application, you must pay. For example, with a full subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, you can create an unlimited number of simple editing applications. Single edition include only a folio and they work on the iPad. To create other types of applications that run on different platforms, you subscription DPS Pro or business.

• Professional platform or company DPS

  Hello, I've wrapped if some could answer this question for me. I will produce an application for a client - it will be a PDF provided in 1024 x 768. I'll add minor interactivity such as videos and URLS. I'll export the PDF as single pages and use a script to create articles that I now matter in the folio Builder. Currently my folio Builder is version 23 (I can update this 25 if necessary) with CS 5. With the professional or enterprise platform I plan to export a file ipa (ipad) and a .apk (android) file. The app will be a free environment. The unique rendering I export - will be there by problems on the android?

  Android does not support a single edition. We do not support multi-folio on Android applications.
