Profile of default deployment in ADF
We are in the process of creating file EAR uat/production, when I created the file ear using default deployment in Jdev (Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.6.2) profile, Jdev also put following filesMETA-INF/application.xml
META-INF/cwallet.sso
META-INF/jazn-"Data.xml"
META-INF/jps-config. XML
META-INF/weblogic-application. XML
adf/META-INF/adf-config.xml
adf/META-INF/connections.xml
I believe that connections.xml should not be part of the ear file, how do I remove the connections.xml in one EAR, is there any other file I should remove
Hello
Connections.XML comes into conflict with the JNDI.
Make sure that 'Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml during the deployment descriptors' and not controlled.
one last thing, do a right-click on your module application-> configurations - > select configuratiuon-> edit-> connection type-> select JDBC data source.
In this way, you ensure that AMs use JNDI
And if you uncheck the box above will ensure that the connections are not created

Hello-
I'm so frustrated with the ADF Mobile deployment. I have already created several Android applications using the native language and never did face problems of this kind. I am very familiar with the ADF development as well.
in any case, it's my problem.
I downloaded the mobile application of adf sample from the following tutorial, but I have been unable to deploy on the Android emulator in Release mode. The debug mode takes forever.
Oracle JDeveloper 11 g Release 2 tutorials - creating Mobile Applications with Oracle ADF Mobile
This is the error messages I receive:
[23: 02:51]-deployment began. ----
[23: 02:51] the target platform's (Android).
[23: 02:51] early deployment of ADF Mobile 'Employees' to Android application using the profile "Android3."

Key to past
(oracle.adfmf.framework.dt.deploy.android.deployers.ValidatePreferencesDeployer)
I generated the keystore using keygen by the tutorial and it's not ' t help.
That's how I validated the keystore.
C:\Oracle\MiddlewareMob\jdk160_24\bin > emp.keystore keytool-list - keystore
Enter keystore password:
Keystore type: JKS
Keystore provider: SUN
Your keystore contains 1 entry

C:\Oracle\MiddlewareMob\jdk160_24\bin >
I tried to recreate the file of keys twice, but it did not help. I know that the entered password is correct.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Also, I started learning JQuery Mobile at the same time.
Thank you

I had the same problem and then I realized that the tools-> preferences window is too small so don't see «Key Password"field within the «Realase» tab Just resize the window.

Deploy the ADF library JAR independent of the Application
Hello
JDeveloper release: 11.1.1.1.0
WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.1.0
I use a number of ADF library JAR files in my application and want to deploy the final application WAR without the need of these jars in there. I want to have the option of deploying an ADF library JAR file if this is the only change to the application. This is very similar to the requirements for this .
However, I can't figure out how to make it work. I can remove the ADF in pots since the WAR file by filtering in the profile of the WAR deployment and then deploy the ADF pots independently on the WebLogic Server. But when I access the application, it seems that it does not find these pots.
Can anyone provide assistance on how to do this?
Thank you
BradWhile I was testing I found the below steps to work for me... But the problem is THAT WLS does not re - deploy a library where there is an active application to use... And none has proposed this approach so I tend to think deploying as an EAR.
1 - to do this, you can deploy the jar files as library via the WLS console or command line and you must update the file application.xml - weblogic in the project that you are deploying war/ear
. taskFlow1 myLib1 myLib2 2 - If you want to use aliases instead of the names of files to libraries, you can add a line to the file 'manifest '. MF.
To add this add a file to your project. Meta-Inf folder might be a good candidate to locate this file.
Edit the newly added file and add these lines.Extension name: myLibrary

Implementation-Version: 9.0.0 -

Default deployment political fencing for virtual models
Where you control the default deployment fencing policy for virtual computer models that you create? I have a network of phyiscal I want never deployed technique. When I deploy a vitrual with this model of network machine it does not deploy with a message that the default deployment strategy is not closed. I can't test the model in mode I have the intention of users to use it & I never want this expanded network technical even for model builders. Note that this is not conigurations as we speak but model only deployment.
Thank you
Brad.
I checked the behavior on Lab Manager 3.0.1.378 before posting. If you are running an earlier version of Lab Manager, that could explain the disparity. In this case, you would have to use the command "deploy...". ", but would be limited to a deployment closed only on this page, too. Light gray text points under the relevant box explains why the option is selected for you.

Deployment of ADF customizations for sandbox, using profile of Mar.
Hello
We are working on the customization of the ADF, we made little customization, which we want to test.
Now, it is, we do not have direct connectivity to the instance, but we access em/console, can you please let us know if we can deploy the mar file using the console 'em to sandbox.
We do not want to disturb the entire application, until such time as we test our application in the sandbox.
Thank you
Vipin
Hi Vipin
I think that question is open in another thread you have. As mentioned in support to do an import of
customization in the environment depends on what kind of cloud support, you have, I think.
Please contact the cloud by a support team that should be able to confirm what services are in this area they can offer.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Kind regards

Deployment of ADF library jar files
Hello
I want to deploy my application to a standalone WLS which I applied above oracle ADF library. My question is that I have to include jar files that my application has a reference to them in my ear file? Jars for JSF, ADF rumtime, ADF faces DURATION,... these jar files should not be part of the ADF library that I installed on top of WLS?
ADF BC classes are in the adf.oracle.domain library.
The default value is not set in the weblogic application. XML
ADF. Oracle.Domain Other required libraries should be added to the weblogic - application.xml. The
Trinidad Runtime Databinding
ADF Faces DURATION 11
are in the adf.oracle.domain.webapp. Add the following to weblogic - application.xml.

Hallo (Shay),
I want to deploy my application Web ADF to GlassFish that is installed on a different server from the development computer.
The application interacts with a MS SQL Server database.
I have some doubts/questions on the tutorial of Shay https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/deploying_oracle_adf_applications_to
So far in the development phase, I deployed the application only to the JDeveloper-itegrated WebLogic Server on the development computer.
Creating a connection pool
- I could successfully creates a pool of connections only by copying the sqljdbc4.jar library in the C:\glassfish4\glassfish\libdirectory. Is this OK or should the library remain in C:\glassfish4\glassfish\domains\domain1\lib?
- Is there a way to hide the password in the additional properties?
- Is there any setting for the property should do (especially for MS SQL Server)? For example, somewhere I read that the isolation of transactions should be set to read uncommitted... but I did not understand why.
- What is the difference between types java.sql.DataSource resources and java.sql.XADataSource?
In JDeveloper application configuration
- Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) set to java: comp/env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change this field value to jdbc / < name_of_jdbc_resource_created_in_GlassFish >, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What's wrong?
- JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?
Taking care of the libraries used by the application
- In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files I put in C:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?
Other questions
- What is the difference between putting a library in the lib of GlassFish folder and put it in the folder lib of Domain1?
- Deployment procedure used by Shay in his tutorial might also be used to deploy the application on a remote production server?
- Is there a way to manually delploy an application, for example by copying manually under GlassFish project folder?
- My final goal is as follows. I have a clean Setup that allows me (1) to continue to run the application in JDeveloper on its built-in WLS, (2) to test the application to the GlassFish that I have installed on the computer development and (3) delploy the application on the remote production server. Could help me do that?
These are a lot of questions.
I thank in advance all the users who want to respond and I hope that the answers to these questions will help also others.
Ciao,.
Federico
Federico - most of your questions is generic Glassfish questions that do not specifically have anything to do with ADF - I recommend that you post on the forum of Glassfish. (Or read the Glassfish documentation for things like the difference between directories and deployment/admin console).
>>
- Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) parameter tojava:comp / env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change the value of this field of jdbc /
, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What is the problem?
This is because JDeveloper uses an integrated WebLogic when you run and therefor cannot use the data source of Glassfish.
I suggest that make you this change only when you go to deploy on Glassfish.
>>
- JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?
We don't know, as the matrix of certification for the ADF will show that we have not tested/certified this combination.
Oracle JDeveloper and ADF 12 c (12.1.3) supported systems

- In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files that I put inC:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?
Use the properties of project-> libraries and class path to add the jar or create a library and add it to your project.
Make sure that this library is deployed by default.
>>
- Deployment procedure used by Shay in his tutorial can also be used to deploy the application on a remote production server
Yes

Deploy the ADF application to manage the server - political migration jazn
Hi Experts,
I created a sample application web ADF and activated the ADF security. I created the ear of the application using the deployment jdevloper profile. Incase if I deploy the ear to weblogic through the weblogic console management server, the application works very well. (in this step security policies are automatically deployed in the field. However, incase if I deploy only for Server Manager, then the application does not work. in this case, when I invoke the url the browser runs all the time and refreshing but not the loaded page. If I check the policies then the they aren't there.
I have to manually migrate the jazn policies before you deploy on the Management Server? Is there a way that can be done automatically when deploy us the ear on the server of management through the weblogic console.
Thank youHello
for the development of business applications I suggest Oracle Enterprise manager, as shown here: http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/jdeveloper/11gdemos/adf_security1/adf_security1.html

Deployment of ADF security issues
Hi all
We're experimenting with activation security ADF for our application of ADF. At the time of development, the application runs in case of problems.
1. we see the login screen.
2. authentication and authorization are use as documented (expected)
But when we deploy the application only weblogic server, we get the following exception (if we deploy the same application, jspx simple print page with ADF activation he works closely with security issues). Can you please what could be wrong with the deployment profile. It is not even redirect to the login page (we have activated to connect form based)

If it works at development time but not LONG then it may point you to a missing permission or bad security setting. When is he coming? The first time you access the application after deployment, or is it between the two?
