  I need to ask two things:
  
  1. we create a report (via Hyperion Financial reporting tool) in which the user will select a month (through the execution of a command prompt) for which data should be displayed.
  We need calculate and display in the report, A-T-D average until this month for which we have to count the chosen month (for example, our fiscal year starts from July, July count = 1. Y-T-D avg in October = A-T-D value until October/4). Therefore, to get this number, we need capture the value of the prompt of what month the user has selected.
  
  There are several other cases where you need to capture the prompt values selected by the user.
  
  2. can we compare the current value of a dimension with a string in the IfThen() structure in the reporting tool hyperion financial? I was not able to achieve the same thing with success. Also, I need to get the value of a cell to use in an IfThen() State, but it only supports line or column number and not a cell (for example IfThen([1]=0,1,2) and not IfThen([1,B]=0,1,2)).

  Hi NS

  Have you seen the Workforce Planning or Capex Palnning for Hyperion Planning modules? They contain called members calendar TP-Index and Fiscal TP-Index (or something similar), these are members the value dynamic calc and their sole purpose is to return an index value for a given for use in formulas in Essbase reporting period (or as I've used them repeatedly in the reports).

  If you set these to the top then in your report, you can use the command prompt to call the TP-Index for OCTS, for example 4 tax value in one column and the guest even recover your CDA value in a second column then in a third column simply divide one by the other. You could even do the calculation in Essbase so if needed and just get it back.

  I do not think that the IfThen en function a text value.

According to me, a box has been "unmarked" by me in error as this prompt for more information, already filled, is no longer available.

• How to have a prompt for all variables in the startup script?

  I was given a script to run that repeated a couple of specific column values many times in queries in the script. I noticed the ability to set variables in scripts, then in the copy of my script, I changed the value repeated a reference variable (starting with '&') and then I executed the script. What I discovered is that the execution of the script appears to present the prompt for the value of the variable EVERY TIME the done variable references, instead of only once at the beginning of the script. What can be possibly right? Is it possible to have this script the only guest (or two, perhaps, for two variables) at the beginning of the script and just have it use this value in the many places in the script need?

  Yeeees well. In the above example would be: Cancel the definition of entry
  BUT, assuming you're sqldev (not), and that you run as a script (F5), you don't need to the above calls, and you will be prompted for the value of each race.
  If you run instructions in sqldev (F9), usually, it makes more sense to use bind variables (*: * instead of * & *).

  I have this software that doesn't work correctly than if you run it as administrator.  When you run it as administrator on the standard user account, it asks you the password.  How you turn off the prompt for password for that one software only? Or how you also run a software Administrator without being prompted to enter a password?

  Since you don't have a Vista Home Premium, I found another article that describes a way to get around it to make a registry change.

  Vista Home Premium is not the Group Policy Editor. To make the changes in this version, you must change the registry. Before making any changes to the registry, back it up following the instructions in "block Cookies for spying, but keep the most useful" (scroll down to the area of blue text at the bottom of the page).

  With your backup of the registry in place, click Start, type regedit and press ENTER. In the tree on the left pane, navigate to Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. With the icon system selected in the left pane, double-click on ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin in the right pane. Change the data value to 0, then click on OK. You should see the effect immediately (no restart required).

  I'm trying to solve a problem with the touchpad of your laptop for a friend and decided to update the driver. However, when I try to run the installer, I am asked to view the security policy and select "Detect application installations and prompt elevation."

  Is it possible to create a package with several variables that will allow a user to choose which interface to run selectively?  For example, I am trying to create a package where there are A, B, C interface.  When you run the package script, it will prompt for a variable you asking the name of the specific interface to run.  I know it's possible to create a Variable to declare, I'll call it Interface Variable.  Is there a way to Interface Variable be connected to three interfaces in the package diagram?

  should not be a problem to return the tank to a formula column.
  Check the "Width" of your column of formulas.

  "Width" must be the highest amount of characters that will return your formula.
  If set too low, you will get "PL/SQL returnes form invalid value or no value" when running.
