  I also learned that the BIOS may need to update, but thought that it would be part of verification of Assistant HP support for updates.

  I get a blue stop screen almost right after I log on my computer. Most of the time I can run only in the Mode without failure. Sometimes, it can be running in normal windows as long as 2 hours.   You can change this with the power manager. Open it in advanced mode and under your current diet plan, you can see events. Expand that to the power button / option, you have 4 choices: do nothing, sleep, off or in hibernation. Choose the one you want.

  You can do it on windows as well. Go to control panel > hardware and sound > power options. On the left you can see choose to do this as the power button. Go ahead and change the setting.

Costs $60 but it was cheaper than $1000 than for a customer who had sprayed a server hard drive (and replaced their backup before calling me, long story, lesson learned client and I learned the value of disaster planning... but I digress), I was at another time.

  The title pretty much says it all that, I was wondering if I could gather your comments on how to properly stop an application running more than once in java. I've implemented the two methods of file locking and ServerSockets, but both have their drawbacks. For example, file locking seems to cause a problem that the file is unlocked / deleted if the process is terminated abnormally, and I still have to come up with a solution for this other than to create a batch file for auto run... Similarly, with the ServerSocket there doesn't seem to be very reliable, it runs for a few moments, and then disappears without error message...
  
  I searched the web and found something called JUnique claiming to do what I'm after but I'm not sure if it would work the way that I'm after, as seems to be implying that works with the file locking method.
  
  Anyway, how do you solve this in your applications?

  I have installed since a year now Bootcamp, windows told me I was able to update windows 10, and they were little good cause I managed to update without any problem, I used windows 10 for a month and have never encounter the difficulties in moving an OS x and windows.

  But yesterday, I needed to format my disk HARD school wich has been used for time machine. Time machine has been disabled for months (because it was full and keeping saying that it was impossible to save) and I needed a free space to use with Windows 10.

  I deleted and format FAT32, this secondary hard drive, so I could not boot into windows, keep showed a black screen with flashing white guest and not any something key.

  If I go to select a restart from a drive, I can choose OS x or bootcamp.

  I can see my partition boot camp on OS X with all data still there, but when I push the button option at the beginning, I have only 2 choices: - Mac OS X - or - restore 10.11 - I don't see my windows startup.

  I tried to download parallels desktop to see if he is able to start my training camp. But parallel shows me "no boot device."
