Prospects and VCO non admins

I have a group of users in a group of ads I want to be able to execute a particular workflow.  These users are NOT ADMINS but accountant dept people.

I created a point of view, but I can't get Outlook display of web pages to allow anyone else in except Vmware admins.  I just get:

Unable to connect

You don't have access to the Web view.

I can see when I edit the webview that the group is defined correctly, but I wonder what else could block connections to this level.

Any ideas if I do it is possible?

Update:

I figured out that the Department has had to be added as a view only at the top and then run on a few key actions as well as on the workflow itself.

The information was in the vco journal

c:\Program Files\...etc... \vmo\log\server.log

I failed to scroll to the right to see the essential recommendation to add a view to the next level.  Time for a bigger screen

Can someone comment on any safety recommendation because I think that these users can now connect to the vco and discovers everything and there are a lot of things I was hiding instead when possible.

The interface that is built into Outlook to grant groups access to webviews has a hidden field and set to false... this particular area is the one who sets the permissions in vCO for the workflow... Here's what you need to do to make it work the way you expect it:

  1. Duplicate the workflow "Change point of view" using the vCenter Orchestrator client (this one will allow you to fix your existing point of view)
  2. (Possibly reproduce the "Perspective to create" and workflows "Clone in perspective" - to create future prospects)
  3. Change your newly duplicated workflow, go to the "Présentation" tab and expand the group "Grant Access Rights.
  4. Click on the 'Grant Access Rights' group
  5. In the lower pane, click the "Properties" tab
  6. Change the value "Hide the entrance to the parameter" "true" to "false" - or remove the property

After completing the steps above for each of the specified workflow, save and close the workflow, and run the workflow you want. Don't forget to set the option for the granting of rights of access to 'Yes' before submitting. (You can optionally set the default value of the 'grantAccessRights', 'Yes' to).

Once you have submitted the workflow after making these changes, the group you specified should be allowed to connect. If they still aren't able to, check the following:

  • Select one of the workflow that you specified for the group in the vCO Client
  • Click the "Permissions" tab in the right pane
  • Check that the group you specified is listed at least 'see' and 'run '.

Restart the vCenter Orchestrator Service if they are registered properly but I can't connect to the webview... If it is still impossible, then try to restart the entire server vCO - ideally, that should not be required.

    I was hoping that kind of something like user data or Application data.  The application folder was created at installation.  What is the standard for the development of the app?

    The standard in Windows 7 is "C:\ProgramData".

    Hi Jon,

    The behavior I see is that the model tab is available for a person with the Admin role and not a person that has access to the application through "Rights.Apps.Workflow". The "Rights.App.Workflow" allows users to have access to the cmdlet workflow without the model tab.

    The problem is that you are using the ODBC Postgres driver for the HS_FDS_SHAREABLE_NAME parameter, but this must be an ODBC driver manager and not the driver ODBC Psotgres.
    Go to the.

    Click the 'Download' and follow the instructions to download the 2.3.1 pilot and make libraries and programs.

    Once this is done, then use the driver as parameter HS_FDS_SHAREABLE_NAME Manager, for example-

    My company has mainly non-admin users, and we have deployed packages MSI FlashPlayer 10 to them via the ActiveX (for IE) and the Plugin (for Firefox).  But now there are updates to come, but there seems not to be THAT MSI pushes for them.  Are there updates MSI, or only the ones the program itself pulls down?

    When updates come out for licensed players, we update the licensed download link you received when you made the license. You must get the bits here and push updates in any of your networks by using the method of your choice.

    You must be at least one account Admin on the PC.  It's just the way that Windows 7 works.

    The account that you used to make the new Admin account must also be an administrator full - account only administrators can make new accounts.

    Of running Windows 7, it is recommended to use a user account Standard for all daily activities.  In addition to that, make two password protected administrator accounts & write passwords.  Make a password reset disk for each account on the PC.

    I could open your Explorer of files and go to C:\Users\Vanbee (or any folder of your user name), then right click on the folder on the desktop it there and go to properties.  On the Security tab, make sure that you have a full control on the folder.

    I think that will be more widely compatible. There may be some details that I missed, but hope this helps.

    I don't know why the minimum font size has not been applied as well in Firefox 3.6, but I suspect that this is the new normal.
