Basically, you have to reinstall OSX Recovery Mode.

Simply choose reinstall and you won't lose anything. You should have a back right up.

To give you a little history, Windows Mail does not support the HTTP messaging, which for a long time was the only authorized method of access for free Hotmail/MSN accounts. In addition, given that the development of Windows Mail was frozen in July 2006, there no knowledge that Microsoft has enabled POP access for free Hotmail/Live/MSN accounts in February 2009. Therefore, the Windows Mail Account Setup Wizard is hardcoded to reject the Hotmail and MSN addresses. To work around this limitation, when you enter your Hotmail/MSN email address, initially, use a fake domain, such as * address email is removed from the privacy *. After the account setup is complete, you can go back into the settings and correct your email address.

Something is wrong with your account settings, because the address of the server disappeared. You will need to delete the account and add it back again. Right-click on the account name, and then select remove account. Read the warning appears and act accordingly before continuing, because all traces of the account - account settings, folders, and the messages in them - will be permanently deleted. Press Ctrl-Shift-T to start the Add your e-mail accounts Wizard and finish to add the account back again.

It is possible the error of mounting the DMG is related to the 10.11.5 update.  Please see cannot load DMG files after installing 10.11.5 | Apple Support communities.  A number of people get the same error, with various software, when mounting the DMG if none of the suggestions in that work of forum for you, contact Apple support for assistance.

The likely cause is that you are not properly authenticating to the outgoing server, you use the wrong port or if you use the wrong encryption.  Ask your email service provider you should use.

  • How to fix the socket error 11001 Error 0x800ccc0d number

Hello! any body can help me fix my windows mail error?

I have problem in my windows mail! the word of error...

The host 'info.mecbco.com' is not found.

Account: * address email is removed from the privacy *, server 'info.mecbco.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,.

Secure | (SSL): No. Socket error 11001 error number: 0x800CCC0D

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Forums of community of Microsoft.

The socket 11001 error occurs when there is failure to post a link to a server to a client through the Internet. This translates the user unable to access a particular site or FTP over the Internet service.

There are many reasons why a user may receive the socket error. This could mean that there is a change in the host name or has been misspelled. Often, a firewall may block access to the server.

I suggest you to disable the firewall or antivirus and see if it works.

    Reference:

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall

Note: Turn off Windows Firewall might make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.

    Disable the anti-virus software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Windows live ID:0x800CCC0E, 10060 socket error - impossible to send/receive email using Windows Live Mail

could not send email, now I can't send or receive email.  I contacted my IP to see if it was a problem on their end, and it wasn't. Help, please!

Looks like you are running in a block of 25 port.
As a general rule, the owner of port 25 SMTP server you use must be the same as the entity that provides your Internet connection at the moment. To learn more about this issue, see anti-spam

The workarounds available when sending abroad are the following:

    1. use webmail to send (via your browser).
    2. ask your ISP if they have one port other than '25' for SMTP.
    3. If you use the same connection away from home frequently,
Replace with the SMTP belonging in this regard. It's a bit
difficult, but if you want to go this route, I can provide more details.
    4. If you frequently send to multiple locations, get a free Gmail account,
Configure it to POP access, set up in Windows Mail and use it to
your shipment of household chores. Gmail uses port 465 for SMTP, which is not blocked
    as port 25 is.

The connection to the server has been abandoned by the software on your computer. If you had given the full error message, we have been able to make suggestions. You can click on an error message to select it, and then use a right click to copy and paste it in your response here.

The drafts folder contains only the messages that you are not yet ready to send. Messages that cannot be sent - for example due to an error like the one you cited - will be in the Outbox in the folders for your account in the folders pane.

    Hello

Usually, this occurs if an operation on a socket could not be performed because the system didn't have enough memory buffer or because a queue was full.
Try these steps and check the result.
Step 1: Renew the IP (Internet Protocol) address.
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: ipconfig / renew 3. Check if the problem persists.

    Step 2: Winsock Reset
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: netsh winsock reset
    3. check if the problem persists.

    Step 3: Reset TCP/IP
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note: If you do not specify a path of the directory for the log file, use the following command: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
    3. restart the computer.
    4. check if the problem persists.
